I switched wedding planners quite a bit in the process but the team at the resort gave myself and Matt a lovely wedding day and added lovely touches. Lots of planning with Lana and key details covered. It would be nice if the bridal suite was included with the package and the hotel accommodated this more to the bride. The rooms were quite hot as it was a heat wave but some key transitions of moving items across to rooms could of been smoother. The venue, food, drink and atmosphere was amazing. The venue was good value and we had the most memorable day with our family and friends. The hotel hosted our local Cornish by the sea wedding to a very high standard and accommodated requests made.

Polhawn Fort is quite simply the most fantastic place. It holds a very special place in our hearts, having been where we were married back in 1995, and returning 30 years later to celebrate our anniversary there was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely brilliant — always on hand, offering instant attention and support, and making everything feel effortless. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care made the whole celebration run seamlessly and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Polhawn Fort is more than just a venue; it’s a place filled with meaning, history and love, and that feeling was just as powerful 30 years on. To be able to return and celebrate such a milestone anniversary, surrounded by loved ones and so many memories, was a privilege we’ll always treasure. Polhawn Fort continues to be a living part of our story, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable place to celebrate love.

We had a fantastic experience with the team at Surfside. Liaising with Claire to organise the day was a joy. She is down to earth, easy to communicate with and is as flexible as possible when it comes to planning - so the day feels tailored to you. The rest of the team worked so hard behind the scenes to ensure the day itself ran smoothly, with zero stress. Shout out to Jez, who went above & beyond to make the whole day and evening feel special (and run like clockwork). The blessing in the Rum Bar was beautiful, intimate and incredibly unique. The food by Andy was absolutely delicious and our guests were amazed at how such a large quantity of food could consistently be SO good. Just the most gorgeous wedding food EVER. Overall, we had a perfect day and would recommend to anyone. Surfside will always hold a special place in our lives!

There are literally no words to describe how flawless Tunnels Beaches is as venue. My partner and I always knew we wanted to get married by the coast but every other venue we looked at was just missing something, until we found Tunnels. The venue is absolutely iconic and the perfect mix of relaxed but sophisticated. We also hired 3 of the 4 houses for our guests to stay in the night before and of the wedding which made the whole thing last that precious bit longer. However, there is nothing we can praise more at Tunnels than the staff/owners. From the minute we viewed Tunnels we had the most outstanding treatment from Jamie, he was unbelievably responsive to emails and helped guide us every step of the way. His son, Marley, then was available in the lead up to the wedding and was equally incredible, he also managed the later part of our wedding day and was always one step ahead of the game and always there to offer help, often before we even realised we needed it - our wedding would not have been what it was without either of them! Every single member of staff we met was kind, helpful and genuinely happy to be there. Our wedding day was the BEST day of our lives and we owe it all to this wonderful place, thank you❤️

We honestly could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than The Venue at Sandy Cove Hotel. From the moment we first visited, we completely fell in love with the breathtaking coastal views, the beautiful ceremony space, and the relaxed but luxurious atmosphere — and somehow the actual day exceeded every expectation. We knew that with a 6 month old it could have been challenging, but not for the staff here. Absolutely no pressure to stick to timings. The location is simply stunning. Having the dramatic sea views and private cove as the backdrop for our wedding photos made the whole day feel magical. So many of our guests commented that it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they had ever seen. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly and stress-free. The wedding coordinators were calm, organised, friendly, and genuinely cared about making everything perfect for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt completely looked after from start to finish. The food was incredible and received so many compliments from our guests. The rooms were lovely, the atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and welcoming, and the entire day felt seamless. The best Gluten Free food ever! One of the best things about Sandy Cove is that it feels incredibly special and intimate while still having everything you need in one place. Watching the sunset over the sea surrounded by our favourite people is something we will never forget. Thank you to everyone at Sandy Cove Hotel for giving us the most amazing memories. We would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone looking for a truly unforgettable wedding by the coast. A big thank you especially to Kelly, Dawn, Sharna, Sammie and Debs!! We will be back.

For us, Lusty Glaze was our only choice when we married in April 2025. We love North Cornwall, so being able to celebrate our wedding in such a stunning and familiar place, truly exceeded all expectations. We highly recommend. And yes—the steps are absolutely worth it for the incredible setting, no matter the weather! So much so, we celebrated our first anniversary there too! We, along with our friends and family, had the most amazing day. Even now, guests are telling us it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to - and we could’t be happier with that feedback, especially as most travelled to join us! Despite us not being local to the area, the entire experience was stress-free. Naomi and the whole team made us feel special and supported, every step of the way - from booking, planning and the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were always met with warmth and positivity. We made sure we attended their open day, which really helped us to visualise what our wedding might look like, as there are a range of options available. It gave us some great ideas and meeting some of the local recommended suppliers beforehand, gave us complete confidence that everything would come together perfectly. Staying in the cottage and chalet at Lusty Glaze, allowed us to enjoy a relaxed evening with friends the night before, soaking up the atmosphere with a music sundowner on the beach. It really did set the tone for a truly magical weekend, with exactly the laid-back, beach vibe we had hoped for. Be mindful that the superb accommodation is booked separately and note their check in/check out times. What can we say about the day itself. Wow, just wow, it was the BEST day! From the venue decor, brilliant Lusty staff, lovely dog nanny (Wedding Day Dog Nanny), hair & makeup (Serendipity Salon) and florist (Cornwall Floral Design), to the DJ (Fistral Stereo), photographer (Debs Alexander), our beautiful ceremony, delicious food (Pickled Chef), gorgeous cake (Craftycakehole), beach cocktails, smooth room turnaround from wedding breakfast to reception, photo-booth (West Country Photo Booths) and all those unforgettable beach photos - it was all incredible. We can’t thank everyone enough, including the medical assistance team (Lifestar Medical) hired to help a less able bodied family member to get down/up safely. Everyone and everything was exceptional and made our day perfect for us, and so much fun! Thank you Lusty Glaze for making our day truly unforgettable and something we’ll treasure forever. Incredible venue in the gardens. A very much do it yourself venue but no limit to suppliers you can use and no corkage! Only small criticism would be I think they need to replace the floors as they have large scratches which makes it look a bit more budget.

Absolute gem of a place such a large venue to hold our Vow Renewals. When we met Lorraine she was fantastic at providing us with options on what we could do on the day . We had a company provide the decor which Lorraine is happy to provide details for and Tracy from The Perfect Package is amazing at what she does. The staff was fantastic on the day Adam the Dj played for the guests everyone had the most amazing day and night. Brilliant value for money ... honestly massive thank you to you all .

We had our wedding at the Carlton Hotel Bournemouth in January 2026, where we chose the Grand Wedding Package. It was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives. Everything was absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly. We had no hiccups, no near misses, and absolutely no regrets about choosing the Carlton Hotel as our wedding venue. The day was beautifully organised, and we were able to relax and enjoy every moment as it unfolded—it truly exceeded all our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. A special mention goes to Kelly, the hotel event coordinator, who supported us through the entire planning and preparation process. Her communication and professionalism were outstanding, and she clearly cares deeply about making each wedding perfect. Kelly and Nikki (the manager on the day) were absolute superstars—ensuring everything ran seamlessly, looking after us and our guests, and coordinating closely with our celebrant. We would highly recommend this venue. The ceremony room is absolutely beautiful, with stunning sea views, the space is still bright, spacious, and welcoming. All the hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations, and our special day was flawless. Our guests commented all weekend on how friendly, attentive, and hardworking every staff member was. The food was excellent throughout, with consistently positive feedback from everyone. Thank you for giving us our perfect wedding day! Mr & Mr Watts xx

Absolutely stunning venue and people are still raving about it now but not only that, the whole thing was just incredible. Zoe, Georgia, Sam, Helen, everyone at watermouth cove...absolute babes. 10/10 legends from start to finish. We were never the kind to have a formal, serious wedding and they made it so easy...everyone who was there told us it was the best time they'd had and for us....wow... I don't think we will never top it! We will forever be jealous of anyone who gets the pleasure of being married there and will be following watermouth cove with so much love. Thank you all so much for the best time of our lives
