Polhawn Fort is quite simply the most fantastic place. It holds a very special place in our hearts, having been where we were married back in 1995, and returning 30 years later to celebrate our anniversary there was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely brilliant — always on hand, offering instant attention and support, and making everything feel effortless. Their warmth, professionalism and genuine care made the whole celebration run seamlessly and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. Polhawn Fort is more than just a venue; it’s a place filled with meaning, history and love, and that feeling was just as powerful 30 years on. To be able to return and celebrate such a milestone anniversary, surrounded by loved ones and so many memories, was a privilege we’ll always treasure. Polhawn Fort continues to be a living part of our story, and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable place to celebrate love.

We got married at Surfside on 24th August, the weather was perfect and the venue was a dream. Claire and the team made sure the day went smoothly, we had a fantastic time. The food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was relaxed. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the band The Budgie Smugglers were fantastic too. Highly recommended for beach wedding, the views whilst eating were gorgeous too. We had the most amazing day. We could not have imagined anything better ❤️

Everything we wanted from our dream wedding…Tunnels provided. The whole day was perfect from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking and we had so many comments from guests saying it was the best wedding view they had ever seen. We still can’t believe how lucky we were to get married here. The staff were attentive, friendly and so organized. They were always on hand to help with absolutely anything. The coordinators took away all stress on the morning of the wedding and we hardly had to think about any organization throughout the day. The food was amazing. It was a BBQ so it was really social and a bit different to a normal 3 course meal. There was so much choice and everyone said they loved it! The ice cream for dessert was 10/10. Accommodation was absolutely perfect. So convenient being attached to the venue and all the rooms and common rooms were everything we needed. Couldn’t recommend Tunnels enough. It was an absolutely magical day!

The Venue is the absolute perfect place for your wedding. We were looked after from the moment we booked the date. The hotel is fabulous, the staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was superb day and evening. A fabulous place with the added views. We will definitely be back!

We had our wedding ceremony at Lusty Glaze and it was absolutely perfect! The team worked so hard before the wedding as well as on the day itself. We had lots of questions, and the team were always so helpful and reassuring. On the day everything ran so smoothly, and we honestly didn’t have to worry about a thing. It meant we could just enjoy the day with our family and friends, which is exactly what we wanted. We also enjoyed time on the beach on the days before and after our wedding which was also fantastic with great food and drink and such friendly staff.

Incredible venue in the gardens. A very much do it yourself venue but no limit to suppliers you can use and no corkage! Only small criticism would be I think they need to replace the floors as they have large scratches which makes it look a bit more budget.

I have had so many message saying how amazing my wedding was. The decorations, the staff every single moment of the day was beautiful. The way it was decorated and the DJ was brilliant and it fit nicely into our budget. 1000% worth every penny. I had constant up dates from all the staff which made me so at ease approaching the day. Making sure I had and they had everything ready and set to go. Made sure I didn’t forget anything. I would recommend anyone that has a smaller budget for a wedding to get in touch. Tracy from the perfect package did a fabulous job of decorating it look like a completely different venue. The dj listen to every request that was made. And most of the guest and me were on the dance floor all night. Thank you for being so amazing.

We had our wedding at the Carlton Hotel Bournemouth in January 2026, where we chose the Grand Wedding Package. It was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives. Everything was absolutely perfect and ran so smoothly. We had no hiccups, no near misses, and absolutely no regrets about choosing the Carlton Hotel as our wedding venue. The day was beautifully organised, and we were able to relax and enjoy every moment as it unfolded—it truly exceeded all our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. A special mention goes to Kelly, the hotel event coordinator, who supported us through the entire planning and preparation process. Her communication and professionalism were outstanding, and she clearly cares deeply about making each wedding perfect. Kelly and Nikki (the manager on the day) were absolute superstars—ensuring everything ran seamlessly, looking after us and our guests, and coordinating closely with our celebrant. We would highly recommend this venue. The ceremony room is absolutely beautiful, with stunning sea views, the space is still bright, spacious, and welcoming. All the hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations, and our special day was flawless. Our guests commented all weekend on how friendly, attentive, and hardworking every staff member was. The food was excellent throughout, with consistently positive feedback from everyone. Thank you for giving us our perfect wedding day! Mr & Mr Watts xx

Absolutely stunning venue and people are still raving about it now but not only that, the whole thing was just incredible. Zoe, Georgia, Sam, Helen, everyone at watermouth cove...absolute babes. 10/10 legends from start to finish. We were never the kind to have a formal, serious wedding and they made it so easy...everyone who was there told us it was the best time they'd had and for us....wow... I don't think we will never top it! We will forever be jealous of anyone who gets the pleasure of being married there and will be following watermouth cove with so much love. Thank you all so much for the best time of our lives

We had an absolute blast on our wedding day. Sophie and Sophie made sure everything went smoothly and were so helpful during the planning stages. The venue was beautiful and the food was lovely. Thank you for helping make our day so special
