An awesome and unique wedding venue
I can’t rave about our wedding venue Tunnels enough ! It really is the perfect venue. A very special place run by a lovely team who make your day feel relaxed but also run like clockwork !
Everything you read about the venue are true - the setting, the food, the atmosphere all make Tunnels feels so private and special.
If you’re considering it as your venue then make the journey and see for yourself ! We visited on a cold drizzly February day and fell in love with it - it really can be an all weather venue but the team will do everything to make sure you get an outdoor ceremony if that’s what you want, down to micromanaging the weather forecast to get miss any potential rain !
What we also loved is you don’t need all of the extras you see at other weddings - the venue needs the minimum of dressing as the view really is your photo background - simple pretty florals are perfect.
The onsite accommodation is just brilliant as well - all our guests loved it that stayed there and the rest were in some nice rental properties and b&b’s all a short walk away.

Our dream wedding
Tunnels Beaches - wow. We got married here in July 2024 and we were blown away, as were all of our guests. People are still talking about the wedding now. The staff at Tunnels completely made the day for us, with their willingness to go over and above to ensure everything ran perfectly on the day. Our guests were not only blown away by the picturesque views, but the exceptional food served and the overall relaxed atmosphere of the venue in general. We will be talking about our big day for a long long time.

Fantastic Autumn Wedding at the Tunnel Beaches
The venue is fantastic. The staff were incredibly attentive and polite, without being in the way or intrusive. The accommodation was perfect for our group as we could have the entire family under one roof. The first time you walk down the tunnel to the beaches, the view really impresses you, it's incredible. We were very lucky with the weather (having chosen to run the risk of an autumn wedding). The rough seas and moodier sky were the perfect backdrop for our photos.
The food was excellent. The PA system worked perfectly and really filled the space with the songs Jen had chosen for her aisle walk and while the rest of the family were mixing after the ceremony. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed. I would highly recommend the venue for anyone wanting to get married. The day was perfect and we consider ourselves very lucky to have been able to get married where we did.

The perfect venue
The team at Tunnels have been nothing but incredible since the very start of our wedding journey. We always knew Tunnels was the place for us and fell in love with it before we’d even visited. What we didn’t know was how the team would make our special day even more perfect than we could have ever imagined. We are still overwhelmed with the kindness from all of you and the hard work you all showed to ensure we had the best day we could ever wish for. And that it was… absolutely perfect!
We stayed in The Courtyard and Bath House with our favourite people and it was so lovely being able to go for a tidal pool swim with our guests when we all arrived and then just us on the morning of our wedding day. It was so special. The sun shone for us and the wind only paid us a favour in blowing my veil around beautifully (big thank you to Jacs for anchoring my dress down as I walked through the very windy tunnel!). Marley was amazing at improvising with our schedule (one of many that I kept updating Jamie with across the final months!) making the evening still run seamlessly when it started to rain in the. But we didn’t care in the slightest because the sea as a backdrop is stunning no matter the weather!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making our dreams come true. It was a pure magical day from start to finish and we still can’t quite believe that it was ours.

The most magical day!
Tunnels really is the most magical venue. It was the first and only location we visited and it instantly took our breath away the moment we saw the view we would all be sharing on the day. With huge expectations, luckily for us it wasn't just the view that was spectacular. The organisation was seamless from start to finish and Jamie, Jaqs and the team couldn't have done more for us. Getting married the first weekend of September, the weather could have gone either way, but with back up plans of the same ocean view we had no worries. On the day, it was quite temperamental, however the team were able to ensure an outside wedding right up until 10 minutes before the ceremony.
As we moved inside for dinner, speeches and a whole lot of dancing with our 120 guests, we appreciated how intimate the venue feels, while not being on top of one another.
We went for the luxe food package and got rave reviews from our guests, who loved how fresh the food was and the social style bbq.
We can't thank tunnels enough for the most perfect day and for creating forever memories for us and all our friends and family. Thank you!

The best venue
Everything about Tunnels Beaches was perfect, from first contact, to securing the date, the lead up & the day itself was a walk in the park and nothing ever felt too much for the team at Tunnels. The venue is unparalleled, it was simply perfect & every single guest was left speechless. The food was simply sensational & we also opted for the paella the evening before & we were so glad we did! Wedding of the year
Quite literally the best day of not just our lives but all our friends and family. The day was just perfect from the minute we arrived to the minute we left!
The 2 houses were spotless and anything we needed you guys were on hand to sort it!
On the day of the wedding ‘Jaques’ (not sure on spelling) was lovely and made us feel at ease making the day run like clockwork. Just everything about the houses & venue is utterly amazing and you guys are smashing it so thank you so much again for hosting the wedding of a lifetime!

Best wedding day
Our wedding was absolutely fantastic and definitely made so by how fantastic Tunnels was. Not only does Tunnels give you the insane views and scenery, but they made the entire wedding planning process so easy and the day so seamless. The staff were absolutely incredible ensuring that every little detail was perfect.
We stayed in bath house and the courtyard and the night before the wedding was perfect being able to get our family and friends together.
The food was also incredible, the gourmet bbq was great and all of our guests are still raving about how amazing the nachos were.
This was the first and only venue we went to see as we was just so in love with it we couldn’t picture getting married anywhere else and it really lived up to all expectations.
To all the team at Tunnels Beaches thank you so much for giving us the perfect day!

So so special
We knew we’d found somewhere special when we stumbled across tunnels but we didn’t quite realise how special it really was. Our whole wedding experience was quite simply flawless. Jamie and the team were so responsive in the lead up to the big day- allowing us to pop in and see the venue for a second visit after we booked, replying super speedily to the stream of questions we had and on the day- going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Could not recommend this venue enough - we’re just sad we don’t get to do it again!

Amazing beach wedding venue
Tunnels is the most incredible beach venue. The scenery is stunning and the staff were amazing. We stayed in the Bath House and Courtyard, which are both lovely houses and really well kitted out – a great place for family and friends to stay the night before and after the wedding.
In preparation for our wedding, Jamie was super responsive and helpful with all our queries and booking arrangements. The staff on the day were fully briefed and very organised – things just seemed to happen without being noticeable!
We had the most amazing day and highly recommend Tunnels to other couples. All our guests are still talking about the venue and yummy food!

We Love Tunnels!!
My husband & I got married at the beautiful Tunnels on the 7th July 2024. We don't live in Devon, didn't have any huge plans to get married in Devon, but after a quick Google search, I saw the website and immediately knew that was our Venue!! We booked our date without seeing Tunnels and in fact only visited it once but that was all we needed. It was PERFECT!
I think it speaks for itself and doesn't need 'bigging up' at all, but honestly everything about Tunnels is simply amazing, from the first steps up to the Tunnel showing the history, to the accommodation (we had The Courtyard & The Bath House between our 2 families), to coming out of the Tunnels to see THOSE VIEWS, the venue itself & the brilliant food and staff.
I cannot praise everyone & everything enough. Our guests loved it too and we are all still talking about it & hopefully will be for years to come.
Jamie & the team, you are amazing & we will be forever grateful we found Tunnels Beaches!

Wonderfully intimate, everything we could have wished for. Wouldn't change a thing.
We had the most perfect elopement wedding. We were blessed with the beautiful Devon sunshine and Tunnels did not disappoint.
From our initial enquiry, Jamie and the team were on hand with relaxed and non pushy emails and flexible requests. They helped with details and allowed us to be free flowing with our minimalist wedding.
We enjoyed every moment and people have commented that our photos look like something from a far flung destination.
We had the wonderful Helen Lisk Photography, flowers from Florence and Flowers, Bridesmaid dress from Monsoon and Brides dress from Stacees. Groom's clothing from Ralph Lauren and Groomsmen from Next.

We cannot thank Tunnels Beaches enough for making our wedding day perfect in every way. The location was nothing short of stunning. Our guests had the most amazing time, and the kids were in their element, enjoying every moment.
The food was on another level—wow! Every dish was a delight, and we received countless compliments from our guests about the quality and taste. We only wish we could do it all over again.
Initially, we were a bit anxious because of how relaxed the team was leading up to the day. However, it's clear that they are experts at what they do. Tunnels Beaches Review
Tunnels is just an incredible wedding venue! It looks amazing in photos but you have to go and visit it to see how cool it really is. All of our guests loved our venue and we had so many comments on how beautiful it was! It truly unbelievable!
Jamie and the team were always really quick to reply to emails and super helpful in accommodating our choices and ideas to make our day really special.
The weather was 50/50 on the day and we were planning to have our ceremony outside. In the end, we went for it and chose to get married outside. The team at Tunnels, had inside set up, just in case as well! Luckily they did, as it rained half way through our ceremony! We all rushed inside and finished off upstairs! If you’re worried about the weather, don’t be! Inside is amazing as well, and you have both options!
Food was so good- everyone absolutely loved it! There were options for everyone and more than enough to go around.
