The venue.. wow! We felt like we were on a movie set! And all the guests have been absolutely raving about it! “Best wedding ever” is a phrase we’ve heard multiple times! We wanted a venue that would be unforgettable, and Tunnels is most certainly that!

And the BBQ was so delicious!! We were both stuffed and couldn’t even make room for ice cream - which is really saying something for us!

Of course our day wouldn’t have been anywhere near as amazing if it weren’t for the incredible staff! During the planning, Jamie & Marley were insanely quick at replying and never made us feel silly for any of the questions we had! And on the day, Jacs and David were awesome; both making us feel so calm, and allowing us to enjoy the day completely stress-free!

It truly was the best day of our lives, and booking at Tunnels was by far the best decision we could have made!

Often people talk about weddings being stressful to plan, but we found it to be the complete opposite with Tunnels Beaches. Jamie and the rest of the team are so professional and clearly incredibly hardworking. They made the whole process a breeze. The team on the day kept us calm and collected, and were always two steps ahead predicting what we might need next.
The food was exactly what we hoped for, so delicious and my dietary requirements of being coeliac was so well catered for, as well as other requirements of guests. We had such good feedback from guests on the food, people still talk about the evening paella to this day!
We are so glad that we picked Tunnels - the sun setting into the sea as we did our first dance was like something out of a dream, completely magical.

From the very beginning, the support we received throughout the planning process was exceptional. Organising a wedding can be stressful, but the team made everything feel effortless. Their guidance, attention to detail and willingness to help every step of the way meant we could enjoy the journey knowing we were in safe hands.

A special thank you to Marley, who was fantastic in the lead-up to our wedding, always on hand to answer questions and ensure every detail was covered. On the day itself, Jax and David were incredible. Everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and soak up every moment without worrying about a thing.

The bar and kitchen staff were also brilliant, keeping everyone well fed and watered with excellent food, drinks and friendly service throughout the day. So many of our guests commented on how attentive and professional the whole team were.

And then there’s the venue itself… simply breathtaking. The stunning coastal setting created the most incredible backdrop for our ceremony and reception, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was. Every part of the venue exceeded our expectations.

We wanted to say a huge thank you for what was an absolutely incredible day and stay. Your venue is truly spectacular and took my breath away. Being able to have an 8am swim with my family on the morning of the wedding was such a special moment for us, and one we will always cherish. We had the most amazing, sunny, May wedding reception at Tunnels Beaches. We knew it was going to be special when we booked it, but seeing our guests’ reactions as they walked through the tunnel into the new outdoor space - everyone was blown away.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the setting - some guests said it wasn’t just the best wedding location they’d been to, but the best place they’d ever been to! It honestly looks like the Mediterranean in the photos, truly a fantastic backdrop.

The vibe was also perfectly relaxed the whole day, and the little personal touches we’d asked for were all accommodated for, thank you! Our day was beyond special, and having our nearest and dearest stay with us at both the Bath House and Courtyard on site made the weekend even more relaxed, memorable, and made their trip all the way to Devon worth it. The wedding morning swim was a real highlight too!

From the moment we first viewed the venue 18 months before our wedding, we knew it was the place for us. The stunning setting was exactly the backdrop we'd always dreamed of for our big day, and every time we visited afterwards just made us more excited.
One of the biggest advantages for us was the onsite accommodation. We had guests travelling from abroad and from all over the UK, and being able to stay together meant we could turn our wedding into a whole weekend celebration. The accommodation is beautiful and made everything so easy for us and our guests.

Throughout the planning process, the team were fantastic. They were always quick to respond to questions and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. We also loved that the venue held an open day after some of the upgrades had been completed. It was great to see the improvements, try the canapés and drinks, and experience the venue again before the wedding. It definitely got us even more excited for the big day.

From the moment we checked in the day before, everything exceeded our expectations. One of our favourite memories was hearing our guests' reactions as they walked through the tunnel and saw the view for the first time. The gasps and comments of amazement were exactly what we'd hoped for! So many people said they felt like they were abroad, and several guests told us it was one of the most incredible wedding venues they had ever visited.

On the day itself, Lucy and Dave were amazing. They kept everything running smoothly, helped calm any nerves, and dealt with any last-minute changes behind the scenes without us having to worry. Their support meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment.

The food was absolutely delicious, and every member of staff we met was friendly, professional and welcoming. Everything felt seamless from start to finish.

Tunnels Beaches was everything and more than we had hoped for. The scenery is unbeatable and the venue exquisite. We couldn't have imagined a more stunning view, let alone to be married in front of it. All of our guests were in awe and the scenes had a few in tears by itself, before the ceremony got going.

The food, different to your traditional wedding, was incredible and suited the theme and venue perfectly. Food in abundance and the best quality. Really helped with a more relaxed atmosphere and made it even more memorable.

The support and service provided by the Tunnels team was also first class. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they could not have been more supportive, Marley in particular. The team on the day, we attentive and nothing was too much trouble, and their answer was yes to nearly all our requests, to help make the day perfect for us.

We can't thank you all enough and the worst part was having to leave!

From our first visit we were captivated by the dramatic views, rugged coastline and how it felt to walk through to the other side of the first tunnel - it really does feel like entering another world.

As we are not local to the venue it was really important to us that we could extend our celebrations the day before and after our wedding, and we are so glad we did. Our night before party with paella served was a really big hit, and our (slightly hungover) guests welcomed the extra night stay. We had an absolute blast by the coast for 3 days.

Jamie and Marley were so attentive and communicative throughout the planning process, and helped to run things smoothly on the day itself. As it so often does, time ran away with us and despite running behind, Marley was very quick to adjust our timeline and everything ran so seamlessly. It was really important to us as a couple to take a laidback approach to our wedding, and the staff at Tunnels really did everything to make this possible for us. Nothing was too much of an ask.

Our guests are still complimenting the food served, and the sheer amount of it. Many have said the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and we can't disagree.

We booked 3 of the houses Tunnels offer - Runneymede, The Bath House and The Courtyard. Our guests were blown away with the accommodation; they really are a special touch.

The team really go above and beyond to make sure you have the most wonderful experience; from 1 minute email responses, to an amazing set up experience, and hands on support for the day. The staff set up both indoor and outdoor seating ceremony options and re-dried the seats outside 3 times in the 20mins before the start time meaning that we managed to still do it outside despite it raining again 2 minutes before the ceremony start time!

The venue itself is stunning and the extension that has recently been finished makes a fantastic venue to one that is flawless! It has everything you could ever want from views on views, beautiful interior and decor to state of the art tech for the party!

There are literally no words to describe how flawless Tunnels Beaches is as venue. My partner and I always knew we wanted to get married by the coast but every other venue we looked at was just missing something, until we found Tunnels. The venue is absolutely iconic and the perfect mix of relaxed but sophisticated. We also hired 3 of the 4 houses for our guests to stay in the night before and of the wedding which made the whole thing last that precious bit longer.

However, there is nothing we can praise more at Tunnels than the staff/owners. From the minute we viewed Tunnels we had the most outstanding treatment from Jamie, he was unbelievably responsive to emails and helped guide us every step of the way. His son, Marley, then was available in the lead up to the wedding and was equally incredible, he also managed the later part of our wedding day and was always one step ahead of the game and always there to offer help, often before we even realised we needed it - our wedding would not have been what it was without either of them! Every single member of staff we met was kind, helpful and genuinely happy to be there. Our wedding day was the BEST day of our lives and we owe it all to this wonderful place, thank you❤️

The tunnels beaches venue, staff, accommodations & food blew us and all of our guests away. To say we had the best day of our lives is truly an understatement.

The new renovation is exceptional, all of our guests commented on how special the location and venue is. Many saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. As for the staff, everyone along the way was kind, helpful and accommodating. Everything went smoothly and nothing was too much to ask. They made our day run without a hitch.

We are quite fussy individuals and typically hard to please, but The Tunnels exceeded our expectations at every turn and we are just sad that it’s all over.

Jamie – we can’t even begin to say how wonderful you are at your job. From the very start, you were so relaxed and reassuring, instantly putting us at ease. You made sure we were thoroughly looked after and truly got the most out of our entire weekend. No query was ever too much trouble, and that meant the world to us. The whole team at Tunnels Beaches was phenomenal – it really is a well-oiled machine and so incredibly professional, while still feeling warm and personal. Jacs was fantastic at organising us in the morning; she was such a calm, friendly presence and exactly what we needed at that moment.

And the food… just incredible. We’ve had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to, and the food was a huge part of that. It exceeded every expectation.

We were also fortunate enough to have The Courtyard and The Bath house as accommodation, as well as a hosting space for our gathering the night before – this was absolutely incredible and something we would highly recommend to anyone considering Tunnels as a venue.

Tunnels was spectacular before the renovation, we fell in love (all those years ago), with the rugged coastline and spellbinding views. We didn’t think that improving that view was possible, and then they went and did it.

Walking down the tunnel itself, seeing the gazebo looking out to sea, with our guests eagerly waiting our arrival, was a very special moment indeed. The way the ground floor could seamlessly blend into the outside, allowing for plenty of outdoor mingling, whilst our show-stopping cake was beautifully framed inside, was a real highlight.

Our guests are still raving to us about the views, the venue, but especially the food! Having so many options for the BBQ and canapés made decision-making an enjoyable task. Then, to pair up some of our favourite dishes and watch it all come together on the day was a real pleasure. Sumptuous salads, delectable meats and a sublime desert.

The staff at Tunnels could not have been more helpful. The day time blended well into the evening. We felt seen, supported and as if every whim would be taken care of. Who knew weddings could be stress free?
