We had our day there and it was honestly the best day ever. We chose the 5 course carvery for our wedding breakfast the choice of starters and desserts was fantastic the roast was perfectly cooked our guest couldn't stop talking about it.
We had the pleasure of Amy looking after us and she honestly went above and beyond to make our day so special. She was always on hand to help with my many questions and calm my nerves I cant thank her enough.
This venue also has the added bonus of accommodation and a lovely breakfast for the morning after. Great to catch up with ur quest and talk about your day.
So if you are looking for a venue that ticks all the boxes Kingswoods Golf and Country Club has it all .

Where do I even start? This is a truly amazing venue, and I honestly wish I could relive the whole experience all over again — and not just the wedding day!

From the very first enquiry right through to the morning after, everything was simply fantastic.

I have to give a very special mention to Liza, the wedding coordinator, who was absolutely exceptional. From the moment I met her, I felt like I had just met an old friend for a chat and a catch-up. Her constant attention to detail, reassurance, advice and guidance were truly second to none.

The venue itself was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and every member of staff was so helpful, attentive and genuinely kind. I could honestly shout it from the rooftops about this venue!

I decided to do my own florals and dress the venue myself, and I definitely underestimated just how much time, effort and work it would take. But Liza and her team were there every step of the way. At times they were laughing with me through the chaos, and at other times they simply took the reins, calmed me down and reassured me that everything would be okay.

I woke up on the morning of the wedding and carried on with the florals and finishing touches in the room. At around 5:30am, I wandered downstairs and found myself sat in a river of artificial flowers, completely surrounded by wedding chaos! The kindest man came along with a coffee and a pillow for me to sit on — without me even asking. He simply smiled and said, “I believe you need this.”

That moment sums up this venue perfectly.

It’s the personal attention, the kindness and the little things that really do go such a long way. This venue genuinely goes above and beyond to make your day as beautiful and special as it possibly can be.

I can honestly say that our whole day ran smoothly and seamlessly, and it truly felt like a dream come true. I wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding day — and I almost want to book another day just so I can do it all again! In fact, I definitely want to! 😂

But I especially want to make this review a huge thank you to Liza.

Liza, thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making our day so incredibly special. Your constant reassurance, love, support, guidance and genuine care meant more to me than you will ever know. You made what could have been an incredibly stressful experience feel exciting, enjoyable and, most importantly, memorable.

I have to say, you sold this venue to me more than the venue itself ever could — and that is saying something, because the venue was absolutely outstanding!

But you, Liza, are truly an exceptional person, and I will never, ever forget you or everything you did for us.

I will be seeing you in the future as I have had a booking for my wedding day floral's and backdrops for June 2028 and I cannot wait to work along side you, even if it's just a few hours :)

The Kingswood County Club in our minds is one of the most special places to have your wedding. From our first contact with Amy and the events team, we could not be more grateful. They went above and beyond for our wedding celebration.

We didn’t have the best of starts either the groom ending up in hospital 4 hours before walking down the aisle. But the team at Kingswood took this in their stride and kept our guests and registrars updated as to the on going saga.

An extra bonus is having on-site accommodation, which was great for our guests who had travelled. Having 18 rooms on-site for our guests to stay in was perfect, and the included breakfast the next morning was a lovely touch that made the experience even better. We had a private room to all meet for breakfast, which was so lovely.

We all had the most fantastic day, and I must say it was primarily due to their wonderful Wedding Planner Liza, her amazing organisational skills, knowledge, experience and above all patience. From the very beginning Liza provided the calm and expertise. Nothing has ever been too much trouble and in the face of some very last-minute changes Liza just calmly sorted everything out for us. The day ran seamlessly for us because she shouldered all of the burden, responsibility, and hard work and for that we truly thank her.
The whole team at Kingswood were brilliant, so professional and helpful. The effort that must have gone into keeping everything running to time must have been immense but looked totally effortless. The food was amazing and the team were so accommodating with our menu choices and provision of special dietary requirements. Then there is the venue itself, what a beautiful place in a stunning setting, really special. All of our guests were blown away with the whole day and I’m sure Kingswood Golf Club will be talked about for some time to come.

We first came across the venue at a brilliantly presented exhibition evening which we would definitely recommend you go and see. As we explored other venues nothing compared in quality or value for money. In addition the lodge allowed us peace of mind with many of our guests travelling a fair distance. Once we met Liza she could not do enough for us, she took away many of our stresses and was quick, efficient and professional in all communication with a friendly touch. Everything on the day went to plan, the staff excellently led by Liza were on hand for all our guests and so attentive to all their needs. The additions of a pianist and master of ceremonies in the package added even further to our special day. We could not recommend Kingswood any higher. All our guests loved the food, drinks and atmosphere. Thank you so much!

As soon as we came to view the venue, we knew it was the right place for us. Firstly because of the stunning venue, but also because we immediately felt safe in Liza’s hands and knew she would go above and beyond to ensure our day runs smoothly.. and we were definitely not wrong! The package we picked was amazing and good value for money with all the things it included. We would recommend Kingswood Golf & Country Club to everyone for their weddings or even a special event. We will definitely be booking a carvery there again soon!!!
