We don’t even know where to begin, the day was truly perfect, there is genuinely nothing bad that would could say about Highley Manor.

From the first day we went to see the venue through to the morning after the wedding they could not have done more for us, a special shout out to Sophie, Max and Igor. The staff and service were amazing, everything ran so smoothly and nothing was ever too much.

All our guests raved about the food, both for the wedding breakfast and the evening, it was truly delicious. The venue itself is so stunning, we were incredibly lucky with the weather, but we know it would have still been the perfect day if we weren’t so lucky!

We cannot thank Highley enough for a day we will remember forever 🤍

Sophie and the team helped us create the most perfect day! Their support from booking our date through to the big day was nothing short of amazing, always so quick to respond and full of information. Any change they were happy to try and make work, and nothing was too much trouble.
Sophie and Max really made our day special, and had such great energy. All the staff are so friendly, and helped us make the best memories!!

Our wedding at Highley Manor was perfect from the moment we booked right through to the big day itself and breakfast the next morning. Every member of staff was brilliant, they supported us through the entire process. Our wedding co-ordinator Sam was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and she was so calm.

A beautiful venue, fabulous food, friendly staff and a great disco. We couldn't fault anything. Our guests agree and haven't stopped telling us what a wonderful wedding it was!! Thank you.

My wife and I got married at highley manor last week and the day couldn't have gone better. It would be difficult to put into so many words how much we would recommend Highley Manor to other couples! But we will give it ago with limited words. From the second we visited Highley, we knew that it was the venue for us. We were greeted with respect, excitement and kindness. Often when visiting other venues, you feel pressure to book. Not with Highley, you are given all the space and time that you need to freely look around at your own space. We had a quickly turn around for our wedding, we booked in February and married in December of 2024! This did not matter, because from the moment we booked, Highley were by our side supporting us through our planning and entire process. They recommend vendors, offered us further visits and went above and beyond to ensure that we were fulfilling our package. Any changes we wanted to make were greeted openly and it was so seamless. Our wedding coordinator, Lucie, was was exceptional and felt like a friend by my side on the day, ensuring that everything ran smoothly whilst remaining so professional. Nothing is too much for the staff at Highley. You are their priority from the start and all of our guests were in awe of the organisation and beauty of the venue. If you’re considering getting married here, it will be one of the best decisions you make whilst planning.

We got married at Highley Manor, Balcombe, on the 22nd of December 2024, and we couldn’t have dreamed of a more magical day! From start to finish, Sophie and the Highley Manor team were absolutely incredible. They went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly, taking all the stress off our shoulders so we could focus on enjoying our special day.

Having Sophie as our wedding coordinator felt like having a best friend by my side—always there, ready to help with anything and everything. She was so attentive, calm, and supportive, making us feel completely at ease throughout the entire process.

The venue itself was stunning, and the festive decorations, Christmas tree, and roaring fire created a truly magical atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for our Christmas wedding! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service from the team was impeccable—our guests are still raving about it!

I recently had my wedding at Highley Manor in June 2024, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. The wedding coordinator we were issued seemed nervous and inexperienced, which led to multiple issues throughout the day. They were often unavailable when needed, leaving us unaware of important details. I had to search for them several times, causing unnecessary stress.

There were also several details that were overlooked, such as a puddle at the altar, which made my dress wet and soiled from the beginning of the day. Additionally, the exit music stopped unexpectedly, causing confusion and halting the flow of the ceremony.

We encountered further problems with communication and coordination, such as champagne we had arranged to be chilled not being available, and a lack of microphones for the ceremony and speeches until after a heated discussion.

The bar staff were unfriendly, and there was a particularly uncomfortable incident where I was made to feel like a criminal when I couldn’t pay for drinks immediately (in my wedding dress). To top it off, when we arrived in our honeymoon suite, there was no hot water, so we could not use the beautiful roll-top bath which was a huge selling point for us. This issue persisted the following day. All of our guests also experienced a water issue in their deluxe rooms. When we asked about this the staff were dismissive as the were all more occupied with the wedding set up for the following day.

Lastly, there was an unmarked step inside the venue that caused my mother-in-law to trip and injure herself.

Given the high cost of the event, this experience was deeply disappointing. I’m hopeful that Highley Manor will take these concerns seriously and work to improve their service.

If you book your wedding here, be aware that HM is a well-oiled wedding machine with no personal service once money has exchanged hands.

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing the team at Highley Manor are. So attentive, responsive and most of all friendly. No question was a silly question. No request was too small. The food is absolutely outstanding. The team are such a well oiled machine and think of absolutely everything - it really is a massive weight of your shoulders. Special thanks to Paige who was our wedding coordinator. An absolute legend! Thank you to all at Highley Manor for helping to create the best day of our lives.

When we first visited the venue it's just a gorgeous venue from the outdoor ceremony area to the ball room, safe to say we loved it from the get go.

The whole booking process was great a few issues that were missed on the wedding day, from the fireplace was not lit and we had personalised champagne glasses were not given to us after the ceremony. But we had an amazing day and loved the DJ and evening food as well.

My only thing I would add is the menu tasting as you are given 4 options for starter, mains and dessert, when trying the food out nothing really stood out for us and wished they offered an option where we could pay for any extra amounts and try the other options as all we were doing was asking for photos of the other options which made it hard for us to decide on our food.

Also have photos of the evening buffet so we have an idea what it would look like and again it would help with choosing the food options.

But again the venue is amazing and would recommend anyone to come here as the weekday prices are really good.

Amazing venue with great staff, very helpful and great communication to make your day go smoothly! As wedding venues go Highley manor is great value for money and we had a perfect day. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic day at Highley Manor for our wedding day. After a few hiccups when we initially booked, the venue was always responsive, friendly and professional, happy to take any questions no matter how big or small. The closer we got to the day the more support we received from Yvette, our wedding coordinator, who was brilliant. The venue itself is beautiful and felt just the right size for our 65 day guests given we had our ceremony indoors. The food was incredible and the rooms very comfy. The day itself also ran like clockwork and it was all round a brilliant day. A minor point of feedback was that we didn't have much aftercare the morning after the wedding, we were sort of left to ourselves as preparations were underway for the next wedding. But overall I'd recommend Highley Manor as we had a lovely day :)

We had an amazing day, it all ran so smoothly and our coordinator Samantha was the loveliest person, so kind, helpful and calm which made us feel so at ease.
The food was amazing and the dietary requirements easily catered for. I would absolutely recommend this venue without hesitation!

This venue was absolutely gorgeous and the staff all super friendly. It was everything I wished for and didn't not have to worry about anything on the day. Would recommend in a heart beat.
