Facilities and Capacity
From the moment of arrival, you will be mesmerised by the hotel’s expansive gardens. No matter the season, this idyllic setting is kept in pristine condition under the loving care of prominent horticulturist Nick Taylor and a team of experienced gardeners. This exceptional attention to detail continues within the venue’s selection of gorgeous event spaces. Recently revamped, The Floyd Suite is a bright and spacious area designed to accommodate up to 150 guests for a delightful seated meal or 200 for a buffet. With traditional wooden beams, french windows, and direct access to the outdoor patio, this refreshing space allows you to soak in the surrounding countryside throughout your special day. For smaller occasions, the Windsor Suite can comfortably seat up to 50 guests under the glow of subtle lighting and soft pastel interiors. Both function rooms are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and can be adapted to host a choice of wedding events such as wedding breakfasts and receptions. For those who are travelling far, the hotel offers 36 individually designed ensuite bedrooms that include a special rate for guests attending your celebrations.

Magical Wedding
Many of our guests stayed at the hotel and all have been raving about how amazing it all was and how lovely, clean and modern the rooms are, I stayed the night before in a gorgeous suit which I got ready in along with flower girls.
The ceremony room was just the right size and felt welcoming, we had been advised by Louise on preferred decoration suppliers for tables and chair covers and all was perfect from Jody at Vesuvius weddings, and Adele Kemp for the florist.
Our chosen wedding Breakfast food was piping hot and delicious, everyone was extremely happy, we also had an evening buffet which again was the perfect amount of food for our guests and delicious.
An Evening disco was included in our package, supplied by Orange disco's and again they were brilliant, contacting us beforehand for preferred music , and I had a few requests that they provided on the night and everyone danced the night away.
Orange disco had extras you could book and we had a photo booth which I would highly recommend, lots of fun was had by all.
On the wedding night my husband and I stayed in the most gorgeous wedding suit, next morning as many guests stayed over the hotel accommodated us all in a room together for breakfast,
we cannot fault any aspect of our magical wedding at Stirrups, and the very reasonable price for everything we had included in our chosen package.
we would highly recommend Stirrups for anyone wanting the most magical day in stunning surroundings with staff that really do care and want you to be happy.
Beyond incredible!
We missed out one buttonhole in the panic of organising everything and they kindly made one for my bridesman! The food was incredible, the service in the morning for my bridal party was amazing. They thought of everything, even little things like having a glass of water on hand just before I walked down the aisle and two glasses of champagne for us when we came out of the ceremony.
You will be in the safest hands, everything I was worried about was sorted. We went for a package deal and it is good value for money for what you get - we had our wedding on a Saturday in September and other venues we queried were alot more money, there are no hidden costs here and the package deal includes everything you need which alone takes alot of stress off the planning.
Massive shout out to Louise who worked incredibly hard all evening, she never stopped! All the managers there are so friendly and hardworking. Thank you for giving us the best day of our lives, I wish we could do it all again!
