Me and my Husband had our wedding at Buxted park hotel on 17/12/2025, it was the most magical day! Absolutely everything was perfect and the staff are incredible! The grounds are beyond stunning! If you’re looking for a venue then this is by far the best! Our wedding coordinator Gemma, went above and beyond whilst helping us to plan everything! Thank you to each and everyone of the staff that made our day so unbelievably special ❤️ With a very special thanks to Gemma, Sophie, Eddie, Harry, Vlad, Francesco, Marc, Duncan, Andrea ❤️

From the moment we viewed The Gallivant we knew we had to have our wedding there. We were treated to a lovely lunch with great service, showcasing everything that was to come. Victoria and Agnes were very helpful in setting out the different options for the day and what was possible within the spaces available. There is a good variety of where you can hold the different elements of a wedding depending on your preference. On the day of the wedding itself, every single member of staff were incredibly kind to our guests and made the hotel a home away from home - this made all the difference and meant we were not stressed at all going into the day. There were some last minute changes required due to weather, and the team were so helpful in planning for lots of eventualities to make sure we had a great day no matter what. Our guests commented that the wedding food was the best they have had. It came out promptly, with excellent service, and was hot and unbelievably tasty. The dishes looked exactly the same as they had at the tasting. We had the most wonderful day and if you are looking for a coastal wedding with incredible food and great service then this is the venue for you. We will be eternally grateful to everyone at the Gallivant for enabling us to have our perfect wedding day.

They just go above and beyond to help you always on the end of the phone and if you need to go there they accodate you

We had a great wedding at the Harbour Hotel! It was easy to communicate with Rosie, and we had a great offer from them which made it affordable for us. There were maybe a few misunderstandings along the way, and we kept changing our minds, but it was all sorted out very professionally. Natasha was also brilliant at organising the day, and understood exactly what we wanted, and also came up with ideas I would not have thought myself. The service was top-notch! The only thing was that the food was slightly different from the tasting we had, and we weren't expecting that. A different chef that day perhaps. Otherwise everything ran smoothly, and our signature cocktails were delicious! The space itself was perfect for us, with the wooden floor big enough for proper dancing, unlike most other venues which had carpeted floors and no proper dance floor.

After 26 year together we decided to get married. We had arranged to get married at Eastbourne Registry office and have our wedding breakfast at the Powdermill Hotel in Battle. Unfortunately they had to cancel as they had to shut down for refurbishment and recommended Horsted Place Hotel as an alternative venue. Our wedding was to be a small family affair with only 13 guests and Horsted Place managed to accommodate us on our requested date. We cannot fault the service we received, from initial contact, to the day itself. Everything ran very smoothly indeed. The wedding breakfast was fantastic with our guests commenting on how lovely the food was, the presentation, the service and the venue. Everybody enjoyed the day, especially us. Thank you for putting in the effort to making our day very special indeed. We would certainly recommend Horsted Place Hotel as a venue for your wedding. Claire & Steve

My husband and I had our wedding at The Bell on the 1st of November, and the entire day was perfect from start to finish. Everything ran so smoothly, and that was entirely thanks to the incredible team—from the early planning stages right up to the final moments of our wedding day. Becky, Jess, and the whole team were fantastic throughout the lead-up. They stayed in regular contact from the moment we booked, checking in, answering my endless questions, and offering constant reassurance. No matter what concern I brought to them, they always had a calm, helpful solution ready. As a very Type-A bride, I had a detailed guide about where everything should go and what I envisioned. They executed it flawlessly. They understood my vision completely and brought it to life even better than I imagined. The day itself was so well organised that I barely noticed the transitions between each part of the wedding. The team supported our guests, kept our wedding party energised and excited, and provided such warm, reassuring smiles throughout the day. Even the bar staff were amazing—on my way to the ceremony, when my nerves kicked in, they were right there to reassure me. I truly can’t thank the entire team enough for their hard work, positivity, and kindness. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Bell to anyone looking for their dream wedding venue. Yes, the setting is beautiful and has a wonderfully homely feel, but it’s the people who make it truly special. They create an environment where you feel safe, supported, and completely at ease—like the best version of yourself. Looking back, there’s not a single thing I would change. The Bell didn’t just host our wedding; they created an experience we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. Every moment felt intentional, every detail cared for, and every interaction filled with warmth. To anyone considering this venue: trust the team, trust the process, and you will have the most magical, stress-free day you could ever hope for. We left not only with beautiful memories, but with real gratitude for the people who made them possible. From the moment, I viewed The Claverton I knew it was the right one. Kerry was great with communication throughout the planning process. He listened to everything we wanted and made sure we got it. The night before the wedding I stayed in the family suite it was spotless and the beds were so comfy. My family stayed in the other rooms and they thought the same. On the morning of the wedding. We were brought pastries, jam, and fresh fruit juice, which was lovely. The hotel looked absolutely stunning. We chose the sit down barbeque for our wedding breakfast, and everyone said to me how great the food was, in the evening we had freshly made pizzas and buffet which was also so tasty. All of the staff were very attentive and an absolute credit to the Claverton, the only complaint I have was the day went so quickly, Thank you to everyone at The Claverton for making such an important day so perfect.

hey, HDV Brighton was a great choice. I work in the industry and I know how difficult those functions are stressful and time planning and consuming. Dewi and his team were challenged with my requests, but nothing was too much trouble. The food was good and tasty, got to be honest, they exceeded my expectations, but it is important to keep it simple. They know what they are doing and got Jenny - my wedding coordinator on my side to liaise so it is easier. The room itself is sterile. no need to explain that you have to decorate it and light it up - it is add cost on your side, but it is worth it. Here the room in video how it looks.... enjoy and you should trust them and go for it.
