Hotel Wedding Venues in Buckinghamshire

We booked a small, intimate wedding for our family just before Christmas. The venue was perfect, the care and attention second-to-none. Just enough ‘Christmas’ with a super blend of ‘wedding’. We wanted something different, so designed an afternoon tea alongside the wedding planning team - nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend the Villiers to any couple wanting a non-religious wedding in a traditional setting.

The team at Crowne Plaza were great throughout the entire process. There was flexibility with plan changes and a real understanding of each issue or requirement. In particular Alison Chambers was exceptional and a pleasure to work with. She solved all our logistics with good guidance, responding quicky to any new requests. Overall, it was a wonderful day, the parking for guests was ample and everyone had a memorable day. Thank you Team Crown Plaza Gerrads Cross!

Myself and my wife had our wedding reception at Delta Milton Keynes, 4th June 2022. It was a dream day for us, everything went to plan This was down to in no small part to the brilliant planning, client management and 1st class delivery of Charlie Smith and her team over an eighteen month period. The pandemic provided several issues particularly with communication, furlough availability and hotel accessibility, but I have to say she managed everything in an unbelievably professional way. Her ability to understand and deliver according to our needs was exceptional, helped along by a high level of emotional intelligence. Since the event, we have had to communicate the with the hotel for one or two other related reasons. Although the job was done so to speak, Charlie still reacted in a thoroughly professional manner as if we were still active clients, something we have both found to be highly impressive. As for the venue, that also matched our expectations. The room was very well situated and backed up by suitable breakout areas around the hotel where our guests could retreat to talk, drink, smoke or just have a break from the music if they wanted. Hotel staff were always available when needed, but not noticeable when not, which is how anyone would want their day. Catering was spectacular and appreciated by all, but strongly recommend that you wear loose fitting clothes to the menu tasting as everything presenting needs finishing! I could go on and on, but overall would say that we were spectacularly satisfied with our choice!

From the very start, Georgia exuded professionalism and warmth. All queries were responded to quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. This top-notch service in the build-up was matched by accommodating and welcoming staff on the day itself. We can thoroughly recommend using The Bull as a wedding venue.

We got married at De Vere Latimer on 27th Sep 2025, it was the most amazing day and everything we hoped it would be and more! Amy was our wedding co-ordinator and she was absolutely brilliant! Always so responsive and professional despite my multiple questions in the run up to the day. We got married in the Cavendish Suite which is stunning with amazing chandeliers, and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. All of our guests commented how amazing the venue was. We felt it was great value for money compared to the other venues that we also visited locally, and it lived up to every expectation with lots of extras included in the package we chose such as the DJ and stationary. We had multiple event managers supporting on the day and it ran smoothly, with everyone commenting how much fun they had. We can’t thank Latimer enough for everything and would highly recommend to any future couples getting married.

We had an absolutely wonderful wedding, with a very special thanks to Lara, who we cannot recommend highly enough. From start to finish, she was organised, calm, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Lara made the entire process feel seamless and enjoyable. Our venue, King’s Chapel, looked stunning on the day, and that was largely thanks to Lara’s attention to detail and clear coordination with all vendors. She anticipated things we wouldn’t have thought of, handled logistics effortlessly, and ensured everything ran smoothly so we could truly relax and enjoy our wedding. On the day itself, Lara was a reassuring presence — professional, warm, and completely on top of everything. We felt so well looked after. If you’re considering King’s Chapel, you’d be incredibly lucky to have Lara by your side. A beautiful venue, steeped in history, providing a truly magical backdrop for our special day.

We chose The Cock Hotel as our wedding venue, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the entire team for making our special day truly perfect. It was an intimate event for our closest friends and family, with a total of 50 guests, including us. From the lovely ladies serving breakfast, who were so kind and supportive when I was feeling nervous and offered words of encouragement, to the lad behind the bar, the cleaners, the wonderful gentleman setting the tables the night before, the lady at reception, and the coordinators, Sara and Tim – what an incredible team! (We’re sorry we don’t remember everyone’s names, but we hope you know who you are, as we will never forget each of you.) We cannot forget the kitchen staff, as the food was beautiful and delicious. The vegan and vegetarian guests were so grateful, and those with food allergies had their needs managed with extra care. Thank you so much! Sara was an angel from the very beginning. Over the course of a year, she patiently answered my countless questions and embraced all of our ambitious ideas. We even had the opportunity to decorate the room the night before after a last-minute cancellation of the event scheduled that evening, which was extremely helpful. Though Sara couldn’t be there on the day, Tim stepped in and was outstanding as the Master of Ceremonies. He handled last-minute issues with remarkable calmness, always with a smile on his face. There was nothing he couldn’t sort out for us, even during a busy bank holiday weekend with the hotel fully booked. Every member of staff we encountered, both during the day and evening, was an absolute delight, making us and our families feel incredibly welcome. Based on the incredible experience we had with all staff, we wouldn’t give them anything less than 5 stars, as they truly deserve it. If you’re considering The Cock Hotel for your event, I wholeheartedly recommend it. I’d choose it again 100 times over. We felt special, unique, and will carry the wonderful memories of the day with us for a lifetime. To Sara and Tim, our heartfelt thanks for your professionalism and attention to detail. I cannot recommend this place enough. Throughout our entire wedding planning process. The staff handled every request and question with professionalism and care. No question was too silly. We had several meetings in person on the build up the wedding so we all knew eachother. We had a menu tasting which was fantastic. Everybody made us feel at ease and we are so glad we chose here to get married. Even now, 6 months after our wedding people are still telling us stories about how nice everybody was. Both our parents couldn’t sing the staff’s praises enough for making our day so special. The setting is just lovely too. We got married in the Lovett suite which meant we had our ceremony, wedding breakfast and reception in the same room. The staff turned the room around in such good timing and had everything laid out as we wanted. Nothing was too big of a job for them, they really made sure me and my husband just got to focus on our day and not worry that anything would go wrong. It really was the most special day. I cannot sing my praises enough and I wish I could do the day a million times over. THANKYOU!

Absolutely gobsmacked at how fabulous the room and bar area looked, everyone commented how glamorous our reception looked and I was surprised at how easy it was working with hotel la tour, they done the leg work with vendors and I sat back and relaxed.

I stayed here the night before my wedding and I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The staff couldn't do enough to help me and Mihaly the rooms manager went far above and beyond to help me and ensure my stay was comfortable and as good as it could be. He even phoned the room to check all was ok.
