We got married here in May and couldn't fault anything. The staff were all very helpful and made the day run smoothly. We will be back soon for food and drinks!

Beautiful venue, very flexible to our needs for our small intimate wedding. Private lounge for drinks and private dining with excellent food options. We chose to have a la carte menu. Wedding planners looked after us very well.

Our day was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t fault it. All staff were brilliant and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was incredible and at our tasting beforehand, we were able to make sure everything on the menu was exactly as we wanted it - no request was too big. The whole process of planning our day was as stress free as planning a wedding can be! We would 100% recommend this venue and wish we could live the day all over again.

The Queens Hotel was perfect for our wedding reception, we used the Elizabeth room and it was decorated perfectly. Lisa our coordinator was amazing from the start and kept everything running smoothly throughout our day, we cant thank her enough.

The seamless coordination and professionalism demonstrated by your team allowed us to fully enjoy the celebration without any concerns. The culinary experience exceeded our expectations. The food was not only delicious but also presented with artistic flair, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. The flexibility and responsiveness of your catering team in accommodating dietary preferences and last-minute changes were greatly appreciated. The accommodations for our guests were comfortable, and they spoke highly of the attentive and friendly staff. The overall atmosphere created by Winchester royal added a touch of luxury to our wedding, making it an unforgettable experience for both us and our guests. We are so so happy we chose The Bell Inn for our wedding venue. We chose to have a two day celebration, small ceremony with 20 people in Poole on Saturday followed by Afternoon Tea at the Bell Inn, then a big reception party with 80 people on the Sunday also at The Bell Inn. Where to start? Afternoon Tea on the Saturday was lovely. The perfect relaxed meal to enable us to chat to our closest family and friends after the ceremony. Lizzie, our Bell Inn wedding organiser, went above and beyond (more on this later) organising a Golf Buggy for us and our photographers so we could head out onto the course for some beautiful pictures. We stayed at the inn for two nights. We were in Room 12/The Bridal Suite, which was a lovely peaceful place overlooking the garden to rest after our very busy days. The room was very clean and the toiletries smelled amazing. As part of the wedding package for the Sunday, we used all 26 rooms for our guests. All the guests said the rooms were beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. Several said they haven't had that much sleep since their kids were born 4 years ago! We had great feedback on the breakfast too, with a great range of cooked and continental options. The party on the Sunday was seamless from start to finish. Lizzie is just fabulous - she worked tirelessly to ensure my new husband and I were taken care of and could just float around and enjoy the day with our guests. She was there from the minute I arrived to set up, helping me prep decorations and brief the team too. Carl, the bar manager, was exceptional taking care of all of our guests, entertaining everyone, and concocting some special wedding cocktails just for us too. The rest of the team were also wonderful and totally on top of everything keeping the venue clean and tidy, and were incredibly polite and helpful. They were all really happy and energetic too despite the long day. We chose to go for a relaxed day with two buffets. We had a hot buffet earlier in the day and a cold buffet for the evening. The food went down really well. We had a variety of dietary requirements, all of which were catered for by the wonderful chefs (inc. Veggie, Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Nut Free). The quality and quantity was top notch! Everyone commented that the food was amazing and several people went back for thirds! They were also pleased with the relaxed style as it allowed them to pick what they wanted, who they wanted to sit with and where (indoors, outdoors, milling about). We had music in the bar courtesey of our personalised Spotify playlist which Lizzie put on the music system so it was all tailored to us. Later we had a DJ in the Garden Room which provided the perfect sized room for a proper dancefloor (not too big or too small)! An absolutely wonderful event. Huge thank you to everyone at the Bell Inn but especially our wonderful, energetic, enthusiastic, kind and caring wedding organiser. I don't know how we would have done it without you. If you are looking for a flexible wedding venue for a small do, or a big party, I thoroughly recommend you contact The Bell Inn. They will make sure you have a wonderful day.

Good morning, As we have finally settled back home after becoming Husband & Wife at the village hotel Farnborough I just want to do a few massive Thankyous and overall feed back! What can I say… from start to finish it was incredible, and by this I mean from the moment we contacted the village hotel to book our wedding to the end of our wedding untill today. It was absolutely fabulous I have no words to describe how amazing it was and how amazing the WHOLE team here are. We have visited this hotel for a while now, 6 years to be exact. And there is no other place we would choose to have our dream day. Lucy was our point of call, from start to finish, dealing with all meetings, requests, emails, phone calls everything and not one thing was a problem, Lucy I’d an absolutely incredible member of the team here she is just truly amazing, so friendly, loving and caring. Lucy you made our day run to perfection and beyond, you have more then what we expected and we honestly can not thank you enough. You made sure everything ran as it should, you made sure people were where they needed to be, you helped with suppliers, and also spent time with us the morning of the wedding to make sure we were both okay! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou, you made it such a easy process for us, you helped us so much and you made us feel so welcome and because of you it was the best day ever. Thankyou! The chefs what a job you did, from food tasting to the wedding itself, the foot was to die for, we received compliments after compliments, the whole wedding breakfast as well as the evening buffet was top form! Thankyou for making this so beautiful and being so helpful with dietary etc! Great job Thankyou. House keeping - from our hen do having beautiful gifts in our room to our wedding having our honey moon room decorated so beautifully and lovely engraved gifts for us to keep as well as celebratory drinks, what an amazing personal touch. Really made that extra special moment for us. Thankyou to you guys also! The suppliers were absolutely fabulous, chair covers, flowers, dj, every single supplier gave better then we expected. Everything was absolutely amazing, and went above and beyond. Bar staff & waitresses - you were great, we dealt with Nicole a few times now and she is absolutely great! So kind and friendly, I didn’t catch the others names, another lady who spent so long making the room so beautiful sitting for hours making beautiful rose napkins for the table what a special touch. The staff were so lovely; a lovely man very tall blonde ish hair also so great. You all went above and beyond with your customer service and skills; even took the time to have a little dance on the Dance floor with us which we loved! The dj - absolutely incredible! BEN was absolutely amazing!!! He did exactly what we wanted, timings were great and you honestly made the party!!! Village you have honestly done an outstanding job, Thankyou for making our happy ever after such a success and day to remember. We even stayed a extra night as we love it here so much! My Husband and I cannot thank The Winchester Hotel and Spa enough for our amazing wedding weekend! We had our wedding booked for 2021 originally and had to postpone due to Covid. Sally was so incredibly helpful at this time, pushing it back a whole year for us so that we'd be as in the clear as possible and providing lots of reassurance at this stressful time! From then we got in touch with Anita who was wonderful throughout the whole wedding planning process. No question we had was too small and no request we had was too much of an ask, she has worked so hard for us and made every little bit of our day incredible! We were at the hotel from Friday to Sunday with our guests for our Saturday wedding. The hotel allowed us to have a private dinner with our guests on the Friday evening and were amazing at organising this for us, as well as a private breakfast on the Sunday morning. Everyone from the restaurant and bar staff, the cleaners and the reception staff all bent over backwards to make our weekend incredible and were all so friendly and helpful. Also I cannot recommend enough to attend one of their wedding fairs if you get married here! We met most of our suppliers at one of their wedding fairs and they were all incredible too! The venue is absolutely lovely. We wanted it as soon as we saw it for our wedding ceremony and after-party. The planning with the host was made easy - thanks to the great venue team. We will definitely want to come back.
