Booked this venue for my wedding, when viewing it I absolutely fell inlove! It’s beautiful inside and out. Jenny is helping with all aspects of the wedding and has been absolutely fantastic. Great value for the money and stunning place!!

A great venue with a big outdoor space with countryside views across the Ironbridge Gorge. Dave and Marian were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make the experience exceptional and memorable.

From start to finish the team at Hundred House were attentive, friendly and accommodating. Morning was too much trouble. The team really are a dream team, the food was stunning and we received so many compliments on the staff, venue and gardens. It truly was magical and we have cherished memories forever from our wedding at the Hundred House.

We had our wedding day 01.08.2026. Our day was amazing from start to finish, communication was excellent throughout all conversations, meetings and on the day. Staff were fantastic, we had a couple of changes to do in the morning with table arrangements and nothing was to much trouble for them to do. Nick was our co ordinator, he did a brilliant job of making our day run smoothly, he checked in regular and always kept us updated on anything that needed doing or what was happening next. The weather was brill, we loved that we had the doors open to outside so everyone was able to make use of all areas but you was never to far away from the main room. Thank you for making our day perfect, we would love to do it all over again tomorrow!

We couldn't recommend Thorpe Garden high enough. From the very first interactive, the staff were extremely attentive, quick to respond and (most importantly for us) completely transparent with costs. We felt like they really looked after us for the 12 month build up, answering all our many questions and making accommodations for us. All the staff felt like they genuinely cared about us having the best day and that really shines through their customer service. The on the day staff were brilliant too, guiding us along without interrupting the flow of the day. They really allowed us to relax into the day and not worry about anything. A lot of our guests travelled a fair distance from London and we had a lot of 'this is easily the best wedding venue we've been too' comments, which speaks volumes. Also don't skip the feast nights! Great experience to get you excited for the big day

Laura & Elio were the most amazing hosts, they really did go above and beyond from start to finish! With all the little messages leading up to the special day to even being their till god knows what time the night before making sure everything was perfect! All the little details they did throughout the day didn’t go unnoticed by anyone there! On their feet all day running around. Nothing or anything was ever too much! Thank you both so much 🙂

Our experience at the Ashes could not be topped! It was the first venue we visited but it became clear after looking at other ones that this was the one for us. We knew we wanted a venue with beautiful grounds and this certainly ticks that box. The whole booking and planning process was stress free and the team kept in touch regularly without being overbearing which was perfect. Our event manager Helen was absolutely fabulous, she really is an expert at what she does which became evident at our planning meeting and we felt confident our day would run smoothly in her capable hands. When the day came around Helen was there ensuring everything was running to our plan, I never felt like I had to check or chase anything because Helen was on it. She was especially helpful in calming my nerves before walking down the aisle and giving us helpful tips throughout the day on where to stand and go. The onsite team were also excellent with dropping off our stuff, preparing breakfast for the following morning and returning everything at collection. Our day at the Ashes was absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We got married last year, choosing Lesters for our wedding reception and it genuinely exceeded all expectations. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but the team made everything feel straightforward and under control from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always on hand to help. On the day, everything ran seamlessly which meant we could actually relax and enjoy every moment. The food was fantastic and something our guests are still talking about. They also put on great entertainment in the evening, which really added to the atmosphere. The venue itself is stunning and created the perfect setting for our celebration. We loved being able to decorate the room to make it feel personal to us. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

We cannot thank the incredible team at The Salt House enough for making our wedding day so truly amazing. Wow! It was an absolute dream and the ultimate perfect day from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them - they couldn't help us enough, and we deeply appreciated the immense care, thought, and attention to detail they poured into our special day. It is a day we will never forget. Looking back at all the wonderful memories made, we will always be smiling, and a massive part of that is down to the beautiful venue, the hard-working staff, and the incredible atmosphere they created. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further. You are simply the best!

My husband and I chose Coombe Abbey for our September 2025 wedding. From the beginning, we were ably assisted by the wonderful Hannah, who was our Wedding Co-ordinator. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our day and how happy we are that we chose Coombe. Everything went off without a hitch, and Hannah and all of the team couldn't have been better to work with. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and made our guests feel so welcome. We were also so pleased to find a wedding venue that was so reasonably priced without a ton of hidden fees. We'd recommend Coombe without hesitation to any couples looking for a venue with the "wow" factor that won't break the bank!
