From the moment we met the guys at Thorpe for the initial meeting through to the day of our wedding the team were nothing short of amazing. So helpful with our many requests! The venue is absolutely stunning and was commented on by so many of our guests alongside the amazing food. We are gutted it’s all over but will be returning for the feast nights this year!

The best venue I have EVER seen — I threw my 30th festival here (90 guests). From the planning all the way to the post-party, nothing was too much for Lois and the team and the catering was spectacular! The setting at this venue is breathtaking, every guest commented on the lake fountain and the backdrop, how beautiful it is. The tipi is HUGE and so well built aswell. I will be getting married here too. 100% recommend, perfection from start to finish. 5 star venue, 5 star team ⭐️

Booked this venue for my wedding, when viewing it I absolutely fell inlove! It’s beautiful inside and out. Jenny is helping with all aspects of the wedding and has been absolutely fantastic. Great value for the money and stunning place!!

The venue was just incredible. It was everything I could have wished for and more. Ludlow Castle is a truly wonderful place. And the way you run weddings there is fantastic. One of the things I love most is that I did not feel like I was on the typical 'wedding conveyor belt' that you get with so many venues. Having the time to set up and set down and even stay in the apartments was just amazing. We just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything over the last 18 months and on the day itself. You have been wonderful, so professional and helpful throughout the whole process. My family who were there on the day all said how brilliant you were and so organised!

From the moment we visited The Ashes Barns for the first time we knew instantly this was the place we wanted to get married! We were welcomed with warmth and big smiles by all of the team, who were just as excited as us to be planning our wedding! The venue and the grounds itself are absolutely breathtaking, a building that holds so much history and so much love! We cannot thank the staff enough for all the effort and dedication they put in to making our day so special and fun so smoothly. But we would like to thank Sarah especially for guiding us through every step of our planning process, your support and hard work didn’t go unnoticed! We loved hosting our wedding weekend at Shucknall. The house was perfect for our wedding party to stay - literally a stones throw away from the actual wedding. We ourselves stayed in the cowhide which was so special, luxurious and private. The barn was the perfect countryside setting for our ceremony - the photos don’t even do it justice. And the natural swimming pool added the wow factor that you don’t get at any other venue. We had our canapés and dinner in the courtyard, the sun was shining and wow, guests said they felt like they were at a wedding in the Italian riviera. The bar was faultless, there was never a queue, people’s drinks were always full and the cocktails went down a storm. The wedding coordinator team were so lovely, kind and attentive. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day. Thank you so much for such a memorable day that we’ll forever be grateful for.

My husband and I chose Coombe Abbey for our September 2025 wedding. From the beginning, we were ably assisted by the wonderful Hannah, who was our Wedding Co-ordinator. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our day and how happy we are that we chose Coombe. Everything went off without a hitch, and Hannah and all of the team couldn't have been better to work with. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and made our guests feel so welcome. We were also so pleased to find a wedding venue that was so reasonably priced without a ton of hidden fees. We'd recommend Coombe without hesitation to any couples looking for a venue with the "wow" factor that won't break the bank!

From the moment my wife and I saw this venue, we knew it was the one. The space is beautiful and because you can use the space however you want, it really does make it more personal. Laura was amazing, she laid out everything that was included, said exactly how much everything would be and made our experience and planning so wonderful. Everyone there was so helpful and made the process go very smoothly. The venue was so affordable and budget friendly. My wife and I are a same sex couple, out of all the venues/ people we saw and met, Laura is the only one who didn't make us feel uncomfortable, who didn't look at us like we didn't belong there. We felt very comfortable and that really does mean a lot. So we recommend LGBTQIA+ couples to come here... well we recommend all couples really! But its very LGBTQIA+ safe. We have nothing bad to say about this venue 100/10!

Beautiful hotel and able to help us plan for our bespoke day wedding as we did not want an evening do. They helped plan everything lovely and the day went smoothly. The food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed it and have complimented us on our choice.
