Shucknall Court is fully licensed for marriage ceremonies, giving couples the option to hold both their ceremony and celebration onsite in one beautiful setting.
Whether you’re planning a single-day wedding, a full exclusive-use weekend celebration, or a wedding party night after marrying abroad, the estate offers flexible options to suit your plans. From afternoon receptions to evening celebrations with family and friends, each event is tailored to feel special and unhurried.
For weekend weddings, the entire estate is yours to enjoy, with space for up to 100 day guests and additional evening attendees. Onsite accommodation for up to 28 guests allows your closest family and friends to stay, transforming your wedding into a shared countryside retreat.
The Shucknall Court team can be involved as much or as little as you wish. Couples can add thoughtful extras such as welcome suppers or relaxed BBQs on arrival and farewell brunches the morning after. Extended stays are also available for those who want to make the most of their time together. Full bar packages, creative wedding design, and tailored planning support can all be included, along with access to a trusted list of recommended suppliers.

Our dream wedding at Shucknall
The barn was the perfect countryside setting for our ceremony - the photos don’t even do it justice. And the natural swimming pool added the wow factor that you don’t get at any other venue.
We had our canapés and dinner in the courtyard, the sun was shining and wow, guests said they felt like they were at a wedding in the Italian riviera.
The bar was faultless, there was never a queue, people’s drinks were always full and the cocktails went down a storm. The wedding coordinator team were so lovely, kind and attentive. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day.
Thank you so much for such a memorable day that we’ll forever be grateful for.
