Shucknall Court

So happy we booked our wedding at Shucknall! Wendy and the team were great at guiding us through the process, answering any queries and providing suggestions and recommendations for any scenario. Even on the day, the team were so reassuring, always on hand to help in any way needed. The venue itself is breath taking, beautifully decorated in a fantastic location (so many photoshoot options, its a photographers dream!). The buildings flow so nicely, its easy to navigate and very accessible for guests and vendors. The accommodation is stunning, feels very luxurious and relaxing. I wish we could experience the day all over again!

All of our guests commented on what a stunning venue it was, and having the main house and other accommodation for all of our wedding party to stay on site was perfect. Definitely great value for money, with so much accommodation all in one place.

On the day, the team had everything under control - once all of the details were finalised they just made everything happen without us having to worry.

From the moment we visited Shucknall Court last September, we instantly fell in love with every single inch of it. We met Wendy and Nat, as well as the owners, on their very first open day, and we immediately knew just how much passion, care and love they have for Shucknall Court. So special we booked it for March....6 months later.

There is something so incredibly special about this venue. There are so many different spaces, each with its own character and style, as well as such a wonderful variety of accommodation for guests to stay in. From the roll-top baths overlooking the whole of Shucknall from Wild Oats, to the natural swimming pool where all of the groomsmen took a dip on the morning of our wedding — every little detail has been thought of with so much care and consideration.

But what truly made our experience was Wendy and Nat. I honestly cannot thank them enough for their kindness, support and the way they were always so approachable throughout our wedding planning and on the day itself. They made us feel so looked after and supported, while still allowing us to make the day completely our own.

You can really see how much they care about Shucknall Court and the couples who get married there. They went above and beyond to help us, guide us and make sure everything came together perfectly.

Our wedding at Shucknall Court was everything we could have dreamed of, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found such a beautiful and special place to celebrate. If I could do it all over again, I genuinely would — and I would choose Shucknall Court, Wendy and Nat every single time.

We loved Shucknall Court so much that we have already booked to come back and stay at the house with our family for our first wedding anniversary in March! We honestly can’t believe it has already been six months — how has the time gone so quickly?! It feels like only yesterday we were there getting ready, celebrating and soaking up every moment.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us. We will forever have the most wonderful memories of Shucknall Court, and we’re so excited that it will continue to be a special place for us and our family for years to come.

We loved hosting our wedding weekend at Shucknall. The house was perfect for our wedding party to stay - literally a stones throw away from the actual wedding. We ourselves stayed in the cowhide which was so special, luxurious and private.

The barn was the perfect countryside setting for our ceremony - the photos don’t even do it justice. And the natural swimming pool added the wow factor that you don’t get at any other venue.

We had our canapés and dinner in the courtyard, the sun was shining and wow, guests said they felt like they were at a wedding in the Italian riviera.

The bar was faultless, there was never a queue, people’s drinks were always full and the cocktails went down a storm. The wedding coordinator team were so lovely, kind and attentive. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing on the day.
