Castle Wedding Venues in West Midlands - England

Absolutely stunning venue, felt like a dream walking through into our reception! The staff were so friendly and attentive without being intrusive, everything ran so smoothly thanks to all that they did. All of our guests were in complete awe of this beautiful venue and the fact our dog was able to come and make an appearance made it all the more special for us. Having exclusive use of the castle and grounds for the day made it even more special, with close family and bridal party staying the night in the castle bedrooms and being able to enjoy breakfast the following morning with them meant we were able to keep the celebration going for that bit longer.

The venue is such a special place and the staff couldn't do enough for us, right from the first show around with Johanna, to the follow up meetings and planning with Gemma and Corryn and on the day Ralph and Gareth worked tirelessly to ensure we had the most magical day. The food, ambiance, location and service just make this place the perfect package to hold your wedding. There are so many more people in the team we didnt meet personally who worked behind the scenes ensuring our day was perfect.

The Hampton Court wedding team truly exceeded all expectations for our September 2024 wedding. They were extremely helpful with their suggestions, and super prompt in responding to our many questions. On the day they were on hand to ensure everything ran totally seamlessly - Lydia, Rob and Izzy were all incredible to work with. The venue is as wonderful as it looks. The rooms are all incredible to stay in and our guests delighted at the chance to stay in a castle. We used the gardens for our photos and they looked really wonderful. The catering and bar staff were extremely helpful and all the food was terrific. We chose to have a cocktail hour after the wedding breakfast which looked and tasted amazing. The venue also has a lot of great features such as their postbox for cards, easels for wedding signs and of course the sword for cutting the cake! The group breakfast the following morning with all our guests was really special and an amazing opportunity to debrief on all the previous day's events!

The venue was just incredible. It was everything I could have wished for and more. Ludlow Castle is a truly wonderful place. And the way you run weddings there is fantastic. One of the things I love most is that I did not feel like I was on the typical 'wedding conveyor belt' that you get with so many venues. Having the time to set up and set down and even stay in the apartments was just amazing. We just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything over the last 18 months and on the day itself. You have been wonderful, so professional and helpful throughout the whole process. My family who were there on the day all said how brilliant you were and so organised!

My partner and I never really knew what we wanted our wedding to be. We’d already been together forever and engaged for over ten years… All we knew was that we wanted somewhere our families could all meet (my family would be coming from abroad) and spend time together, and celebrate us finally taking the plunge. To get started with the planning, we made a profile on Hitched and did a quick search of venues in our area. Warwick Castle came up, and we arranged a viewing with Poppy, mostly out of curiosity, as we never thought it would be right for us. Within five minutes of walking round the venue we were totally sold! The castle was the perfect place for a celebration of our two families joining forces, and with the hotel and lodges onsite, we all had somewhere to stay! We spent only four months planning the perfect July wedding. We ended up with ten rooms in the hotel and three lodges, and spent a full three days with our guests! We had the ceremony at the castle, dinner in the Great Hall, and the drinks reception at the conservatory, and booked the band, cake and flowers through local companies recommended by the venue. It all went so smoothly! We had the best three days of our lives!!! Megan and her team really looked after us and made everything so easy! Can we do it all again, please?! 🥰

My wife and I got married on the tower viewing platform at Hay-on-Wye Castle just a few days ago and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience or a more memorable venue! We were hosting an intimate, family-only ceremony and organised it in only a few months thanks to Sara and her team’s great help. The view from the platform is stunning and so are the surrounding grounds where we had some great photographs taken. Sara’s experience and kindness throughout the booking process and on the wedding day made the whole experience an absolute pleasure.

My husband and I were looking to have a small intimate wedding with just a handful of guests. We wanted the day to feel stress free, like a big party with a ceremony in the start. Whittington castle took our vision and made it a reality. Aside from the stunning venue (like, who wouldn't want to get married in a castle??) the team worked hard to make sure we had the best day. The food was fantastic the atmosphere incredible the ceremony went off without a hitch. A key thing that was important to me was having an accessible venue for family members with mobility issues and Whittington castle is fully accessible. Thank you so much to Cathrine, Tom, Kim and everyone at Whittington castle for looking after us and making our wedding a reality.
