Wrekin Forest Events was the perfect setting for our handfasting! We wanted an outdooor/forest setting and this place did not disappoint! The space is large, with everything needed for an outdoor wedding, including more than you'd expect for a self catering event or weekend of camping. Judie was great from the get go, communication was fab and we had the best time for our celebratory weekend. We had 60 guests, who all complimented the location and facilities. They all enjoyed the activities included in our package (air rifle, archery and more!). We opted for tents and the huts for some guests, which were larger than expected and clean and tidy inside. Our wedding tent was stunning, beautifully decorated and comfortable. There's plenty of space for guests to camp and still have room away from other campers. We had our ceremony in the woods which had a lovely walkway(aisle) that opened up into a stunning space that you can set up as you wish. We had the most perfect. I would highly recommend Wrekin Forest Events not only for weddings but for a weekend away camping and enjoying the Wrekin. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you

We got married at The Firs Wedding Venue in August 2025, and honestly, it was the best day of our lives 🤍 From the very first show round to the planning meetings and final prep, everything was absolutely perfect. Sarah, Zak, and the whole team were just incredible. Their attention to detail and their ability to make us feel completely at ease was amazing — nothing was ever too much trouble. Sarah was always on hand to answer my many, many questions 😂 and made the whole process feel exciting rather than stressful. We had access to the venue from the Friday and had the whole weekend at The Firs, which made it even more special. We had the most amazing time and loved being able to really settle in and enjoy every moment. All the suppliers they recommended were fantastic, and we were given free rein to transform the tipi space exactly how we wanted — which was so important to us ✨ On the day itself, Sarah and Zak were there whenever we needed anything, quietly making sure everything ran smoothly. They have the most beautiful home and truly welcome brides and grooms with open arms. We couldn’t be more grateful for the day they gave us 💐 We’re still living on a high six months later! If you’re considering The Firs, we honestly couldn’t recommend it more 🤍🥂

Oh my gosh, where do I start?? :) Charlotte is absolutely brilliant! Funny, friendly, willing to make ANYTHING possible, goes out of her way to ensure you have the best experience and her prices very reasonable. On the 8th of June 2019 we had our wedding venue in one of her fields. We hired a wedding tent, mobile toilets, live band and caterers. Charlotte provided us with an unlimited supply of wood and we had open fires that we sat around as the evening drew to a close. Nothing beats sitting under the stars with an open fire. We booked all the bell tents for our guests to which she personalised for us with names, furniture and breakfast baskets. She paid attentian to detail and made it all look so pretty. She even surprised us with some champagne and glasses in the main tent where my husband and I stayed. Charlotte was very relaxed and allowed us to leave the premises in our own time the next day. She showed us where we could go for a nice spot of lunch in the afternoon that next day. Theres a cute farm shop and lovely restaurant a short walking distance from her farm. All local produce which makes it that extra special. You won't regret working with Charlotte to make your big day extra special and totally unique to the norm! Plus, you get the very best countryside photos! We are so happy. Thanks again Charlotte ❤️
