You get an impressive 300 acres all to yourself and the chance to tie the knot, celebrate and rest your head in one idyllic location.
Stunning Features
Colshaw Hall features a beautiful Grade II Hall, the perfect backdrop for photos and allows you to spend the night with your closest family and friends on your wedding day. The house has three reception rooms and seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms.
One of the best features of this breathtaking facility is a stunning Makeup Lounge, which is an elegant hair and makeup space to share with your wedding party. With a bespoke design and luxuriously appointed, the lounge is one of our couple's favourite spaces. Not to be missed either is The Den! A bespoke space to play table football or table tennis, relax with friends and enjoy drinks before your big ceremony.
The Stables Ceremony Barn at Colshaw Hall is a dedicated ceremony space. The leaded windows, oak beams and stunning marble flooring provide an elegant setting, with a view of the lake and fountain at the front. Surrounded by immaculate gardens, the Peel Suite is a grand space for an impressive occasion. The Peel Suite has a stylish bar and Pavillion for your drinks reception. From the suite, you can enjoy views across the gorgeous walled garden, complete with Garden Bar which is perfect for wedding photos or a drinks reception on warmer days.
Services Offered
When you book at Colshaw Hall, you receive a wedding coordinator to help you throughout the day. Many extras are included in the price that other venues may charge for. For example, we have a toastmaster to guide you and your guests throughout the day. This is a family-owned and family-run venue, and our dedicated team will go out of their way to make your day memorable.
Accommodation
You can stay the night before your wedding in the beautiful Bridal Lodge, which has everything a bridal party needs the night before the wedding day. With two lovely bedrooms and essential features such as makeup stations and a wine cooler!
At Colshaw Hall, there's ample accommodation for your guests in the form of the stunning Courtyard Cottages, Eco-Lodges and the Hunter's Lodge. Colshaw Hall can sleep up to 50 in total on the estate, and there's plenty of further accommodation nearby. Every overnight guest can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the Orangery and Hall Kitchen the following morning, and it's an excellent opportunity to recount stories of your wedding day.

The team at Colshaw made every element of planning so simple and stress free. They were always available on the phone and email and made every part enjoyable.
Shelley and Kirsty came to meet me on the morning of my wedding and walked me through every stage. The whole bridal party and guests were in awe of how well the wedding ran. There was never a moment of lost guests or awkward delays, everything just ran so smoothly. They truly made my dream wedding come true. I couldn’t recommend Colshaw enough.

Flawless from start to finish!
From the very first day we stepped foot on the grounds and were shown around by the owner, David, we instantly knew it was the one for us. In fact, it was the only venue we ever viewed — and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. So many of our guests have since told us it’s the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to, which just confirms what we already felt.
I genuinely wish we could relive the day over and over again. I didn’t have a single worry from start to finish, and that’s all down to the exceptional people who work at Colshaw Hall. It will forever hold such a special place in our hearts.

Every single member of staff was incredible. They were calm, organised, and on top of absolutely everything without ever feeling intrusive. They kept our entire timeline running perfectly, not a single moment felt rushed or delayed. They guided us through the day with such confidence and warmth that we never had to worry about a thing.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. Any request, big or small, was handled instantly and with a smile. They made us feel looked after, supported, and genuinely celebrated. It’s rare to find a team that can blend professionalism with genuine heart, but Colshaw Hall absolutely nails it.

The perfect wedding venue - even better than we’d dreamed!
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing team behind it all. Every single member of staff was so warm, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They made us feel so supported throughout the planning process and on the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, exactly how I had envisioned it.
I have to give a special shoutout to Ian Brown, the toastmaster. He was absolutely fantastic - friendly, hilarious, and full of charm. He kept the day flowing perfectly and had all of our guests laughing and relaxed. So many people came up to us to say how brilliant he was!
The décor and setup on the day were everything I had pictured and more. Walking into the ceremony and reception rooms honestly felt like a dream come to life. We enjoyed every single minute of our wedding day, there was not one moment of stress, just pure happiness.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is stunning, impeccably organised, and run by people who genuinely care about making your day perfect, Colshaw Hall is the one. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to choose it again. Truly a 10/10 experience!

A fantastic venue!
It’s a beautiful venue with lots of flexible options to stay on site or opt for hotels to stay nearby.
It also had tonnes of different rooms and spaces meaning our older relatives or toddlers all had a space they could chill out in and feel well looked after.
It also offers some great inside and outside options. So for us - even though the weather was quite mixed on the day itself- it meant we had great photo opportunities both inside and outside the house, with stunning gardens, gorgeous ceremony room and beautiful modern rooms.
A huge unspoken benefit (which often doesn’t get talked about when you look around wedding venues) is how utterly amazing the staff are.
From start to finish, everybody we met was incredibly helpful and friendly. No ask was too big or too small for them. We found it quite daunting looking around for the right suppliers initially but they helped recommend some amazing people to work with at fair prices. They guided us through the whole process and helped with all the logistics of getting everything set up.
They really looked after us and truly cared about making our wedding day as successful possible.
It will be a day we remember for the rest of our lives, and that is largely down to this beautiful venue and all the hard work from the Colshaw team. If you’re thinking about getting married around the Cheshire area or beyond, I’d thoroughly recommend checking it out!
