Amazing staff, incredible venue. All our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to, very accommodating to our needs and a massive shout out to Emma for her responsiveness with my many requests and Paul for being an outstanding host. Originally I booked a viewing whilst in Shrewsbury just to build viewing numbers. However we were absolutely taken by the venue style, beautiful but not pretentious and the genuine nature of the staff. 10/10 would recommend always. Wedding 6 September 2025.

Wrekin Forest Events was the perfect setting for our handfasting! We wanted an outdooor/forest setting and this place did not disappoint! The space is large, with everything needed for an outdoor wedding, including more than you'd expect for a self catering event or weekend of camping. Judie was great from the get go, communication was fab and we had the best time for our celebratory weekend. We had 60 guests, who all complimented the location and facilities. They all enjoyed the activities included in our package (air rifle, archery and more!). We opted for tents and the huts for some guests, which were larger than expected and clean and tidy inside. Our wedding tent was stunning, beautifully decorated and comfortable. There's plenty of space for guests to camp and still have room away from other campers. We had our ceremony in the woods which had a lovely walkway(aisle) that opened up into a stunning space that you can set up as you wish. We had the most perfect. I would highly recommend Wrekin Forest Events not only for weddings but for a weekend away camping and enjoying the Wrekin. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you

Only positive things to say about the wedding team at The Valley, our day was perfect! The day through to the evening ran so smoothly with such a relaxed vibe, we didn’t have to think about a thing. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they have ever attended which for us is just amazing to hear as all we wanted was for everyone to have a lovely time. The whole experience from the early planning stages right through to the final hours of the evening reception were everything we had wished for and we have some truly magical memories to last us a lifetime.

We viewed this venue twice, the second time in December, which led us to booking our Christmas wedding! The staff were more than happy to help with any questions we (I) had and were always helpful. We went to view a few times as we were planning the decorations and what to have where and they were so helpful. The actual day went smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about anything service or reception related except making sure we go round to talking to everyone! Plenty of places for photos as a couple if the weather is bad, rooms for friends and family to stay. Our guests all said they really enjoyed the breakfast too. We both wish we could have been a guest at our wedding to really appreciate it all. If you choose this place, you won’t regret it!

Booked this venue for my wedding, when viewing it I absolutely fell inlove! It’s beautiful inside and out. Jenny is helping with all aspects of the wedding and has been absolutely fantastic. Great value for the money and stunning place!!

We booked the Shropshire as its not only beautiful but caters for smaller weddings, we only wanted around 40 guests and they have great packages for more intimate days that other vendors don't. Throughout the planning the team were excellent, they were very transparent with costs and we had no surprises with our budget. The day itself was magical, as most brides, I'd been very specific about how I wanted things and nothing was to much trouble. They enabled me to havr lunch delivered to me and my Bridesmaids late morning, ensured everything was on schedule and were ensuring every detail of the space looked immaculate. The food was amazing, we had a 3 course wedding breakfast with the only choice for our guests being a vegetarian option and everyone loved the food,empty plates everywhere. We gave our guests a drinks token instead of putting wine on the tables and the bar prices when I settled the tab were very reasonable. We also had some people who didn't drink - myself included as a pregnant bride and the provided non alcoholic prosecco for both arrival drinks and toast to us that needed it which was a lovely touch. They provided a golf buggy for us to go and have evening wedding photos on the golf course which was amazing. Evening buffet went down a treat with pork baps! They were so generous with portions so we felt great value for money. We used their DJ they bring in (AJs Disco) and he was great, such a lovely man who who even went round handing out wedding cake to make himself useful bless him. Even with only 40 guests he got the Party going and it was a fantastic night of dancing and partying! We feel incredibly satisfied with how our day went, we had the prefect day, The Shropshire staff made us feel they cared very deeply about our day and making sure it went perfectly. Cannot reccomend them highly enough.

My friend and I went for afternoon tea. It was our third time of going.Each time we go it is just as special as the last time. The team at Davenport are so attentive to all their guests. The food is amazing everytime. The ballerinas, the pianist and the singer made this a fantastic experience that we would deffinately recommend .We can't wait for the next one.

The venue is such a special place and the staff couldn't do enough for us, right from the first show around with Johanna, to the follow up meetings and planning with Gemma and Corryn and on the day Ralph and Gareth worked tirelessly to ensure we had the most magical day. The food, ambiance, location and service just make this place the perfect package to hold your wedding. There are so many more people in the team we didnt meet personally who worked behind the scenes ensuring our day was perfect.

Our wedding day was amazing! Blakelands is such a lovely venue. As we got married on the 6th December, the whole venue was decorated for Christmas and it was magical. We would recommend Blakelands to all couples that want a Christmas wedding.

We were travel weary and exhausted when we arrived to view Delbury Hall, but as soon as we walked through the archway into the courtyard we knew that it was the venue for us. It has a great layout that looks amazing and was the perfect setting for our wedding ceremony. The Orangery is a great addition that gives more so much more space and flexibility in putting an amazing day together. The onsite accommodation was really good an enabled us to keep the wedding party on site. The staff are amazing, every one of them, but with a special shout out to Carissa. Her enthusiasm, flexibility and experience was key in not only deciding to book the place but also helping us to put our ideas into practice. She was willing to roll with our bonkers ideas, making anything seem possible. From the viewing to the booking to the delivery of the day itself she led a great team, put us at ease and was simply outstanding. We were both really glad that our first impression of Delbury Hall paid off, we couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.
