A contemporary barn wedding venue set in a haven of idyllic countryside, Mythe Barn offers an exceptional combination of traditional elegance with modern sophistication.
Located on the borders of Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire, the barns were converted in 2012, and each space is dedicated entirely to exclusive-use weddings.
Ceremonies can take place both inside and out, under the garden gazebo, or in the spectacular Oak Barn. With an oak frame reaching up two storeys high, and full-height windows, this light-filled room can seat up to 150 guests for your ceremony. A perfectly positioned minstrels’ gallery is just the place for musicians, and for your photographer to capture some magical moments. The dressing room means you have a peaceful and light-filled space to primp and preen with your loved ones before saying 'I do'.
Welcome drinks and canapés can be served in the connecting Cart Barn or outside in the Courtyard, with delicious treats and exemplary service from the on-site catering experts. The contemporary Grain Store was designed with the wedding breakfast in mind. As the sun goes down, this versatile space becomes your party venue with ample space for a band or DJ to entertain you and your guests.
Mythe Barn, pride themselves on offering delicious food, fully tailored to you and your unique vision. From a formal wedding breakfast to casual evening feasts, they'll work with you to create something extraordinary. On summer evenings, the Outdoor Kitchen in the Courtyard can produce all manner of spectacular street food options. From wood-fired pizzas to sizzling wok food and mouth-watering barbecue, you can really treat your guests to something special. You’ll find a fully stocked bar in the Cart Barn too, just a few steps away.
As evening turns to night, your day doesn’t have to end. With that in mind, stables have been converted into seven luxurious ensuite bedrooms for your nearest and dearest. And for you, the sumptuous Hayloft Honeymoon Suite awaits with its lavish bed, exquisite bathroom and private entrance.

Pure Brilliance
The food was spectacular and they were flexible to what we wanted and didn’t want! The venue itself was beautiful and you didn’t need to dress it as much as you would anywhere else! It’s rustic and has the most romantic vibe!

Recommend Mythe Barn!
Ellis and Julie were amazing throughout the day. Ellis ensured we were fed and watered during the drinks reception even though we had our nephew trying to steal our onion bhajis! Nothing was too small or too big of an ask and were both so friendly and professional. Not forgetting the lovely waitress and waitresses on the day too! Thank you.
The food was absolutely outstanding and definitely very filling! The wood fire pizzas went down a hit too.
Our dog was able to come during the drinks reception which was a lovely touch.
If you're looking for a romantic rustic greenery barn, this is for you! We definitely recommend this beautiful venue. Thanks to all the staff at Mythe Barn for making our special day one to remember.

The booking process was super easy and the payment schedule makes things really easy to keep on top with. (Note it is bank transfer only as we did get stuck here but it was soon sorted on our end)
The venue itself is out of this world! If you are looking for a picturesque venue, that’s also intimate then Mythe is the perfect space, I never felt like I lost my guests.
The wedding day ran seamlessly and we can not thank the team enough, especially Rebecca and Julie who were outstanding. They truly made us fell like the most important people in the world that day! The food was second to none, a huge appreciation to the catering team as all our guests were blown away.
Overall Mythe completely made our wedding day the most special day ever and we can not thank them enough.

Myself and Luke, would like to thank you for everything you have done for us from the moment we said yes to the venue to the day we got married. Honnestly our magical day wouldn't of gone as smoothly as it did if it wasn't for your patience, we truly appreciate everything you have done. Everyone complimented the venue saying how beautiful it is and could see why we choose Mythe Barn as our wedding venue. Huge thank you to you Rebecca and Julie for answering all our questions and for guiding us on our wedding day and for being so good with the kids.
Regarding the catering the food was amazing but it was a bit dry we had lamb. It would of been nice to have some gravy however we did not ask so its nothing against the mythe barn team at all. I just wanted to add that incase anyone else is getting married there and having lamb. :)

A perfect day from start to finish!
The perfect wedding venue!
We looked at 5 wedding venues and Mythe Barn just blew all of the others out of the water. It is such a beautiful venue - even coming up the driveway the countryside is strikingly beautiful and then you see the barn and it’s like WOW!
Emma was in charge of our day and she was just incredible from start to end. She took care of so many of the little details I hadn’t even thought about, like fanning out my train because my bridesmaid walked in before me, holding my husbands beer for him to make sure it wasn’t in the professional photos, to making sure we were both where we were meant to be when we were meant to be there. If we had a question about anything on the day, Emma sorted it - even if it was to do with one of our own suppliers.
The food at Mythe was outstanding - the canapés, the wedding breakfast, the pizzas in the evening - everything was top notch and so many of our guests commented and how good it was.
We stayed at Mythe Barn the night of the wedding along with our closest family - the honeymoon suite and courtyard rooms were incredible - so clean and spacious and the perfect place to relax after a full day.
Breakfast the next morning was also delicious and special mention to Louise who was also lovely and helpful!
All in all I honestly can’t recommend Mythe Barn enough. I planned the wedding for 18months and they brought together every little detail I’d planned on the day without me even having to think about it, meaning I could relax and enjoy it all.
If you are looking to have your own wedding at Mythe Barn you won’t regret it - I just wish we could do it all again!!

The whole team were really good at responding to our email enquiries and the process how to make payments to the company were explained so well. I liked that they had a portal where you could check what payments you had made.
They made the process of planning a wedding really straight forward and they have an in depth brochure that clearly details their costing to ensure that you can stay within your own personal budget and they didn't force you into spending more money with them.
We really enjoyed that we got to experience the tasting event as that experience felt like being a guest at a wedding
Our day was ran and co-ordinated by Emma and she was such a calming influence on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble.
Thanks again to the whole team for a memorable day! We would definitely look forward to attending Mythe Barn as wedding guests (if ever invited) in the future!
