What an amazing venue! From the beautiful barn to the fantastic team that run it we couldn't recommend it more. So flexible to tailor your day to exactly what you want and for us that meant a much more relaxed and chilled vibe which we absolutely felt on the day! I couldn't recommend the venue more and all our guests raved about it too. If you're looking for a magical place you don't need to look any further.

I have so much to say about this magical place so strap in!…First of all, the place is stunning. As soon as we drove down the driveway, my now husband immediately said ‘This would make the perfect rally car stage’..eye roll. It’s a beautiful winding road through the woods and then suddenly the tipi and wooden venue appears in the dip in the valley and it’s so exciting.

We fell in love with it at booked the day we saw it. Communication with Jill through-out the whole experience was great and she answered my endless questions with no problems at all, and would always try and find solutions for things if we need them. Our black lab Hank loved Jill every time we had a visit too. Planning visits and asking questions was no problem at all. They coordinated well with all our other suppliers too, it was seamless.

Set up day:

The venue is not just clean and tidy, it’s so cared for by Jill, Ben and the team. With so many useful details thought about, such as; hooks, fridge and kettle in the bridal suite, tables for anything you need around the venue, storage in the kitchen for cake boxes and matting in the outside ceremony area.

The venue is beautiful itself, so doesn’t need a lot of decor. It was so easy to get everything set up the day before the wedding, Ben (the wedding host) was around for anything we needed or questions we had and it was just enjoyable to get excited with our little set up team of family and friends.
It was also very easy for our catering team to drop off our crockery, they could put it in the kitchen ready for us to place on the tables.

Wedding Host:

The amazing Ben was our host for the wedding day, so friendly and helpful and really cares about the venue and your experience. He announced speeches for us, opened the door for the ceremony on the hill for me and many other things. Everything ran very smoothly it was great.

Spaces of the venue:

The bridal suite was gorgeous. I had 5 bridesmaids, two mums, hair and make up and a big dress and we all fit in there fine. There are hooks and plugs everywhere, great for hanging dresses. Comfy seating, as well as mirrors for doing make up and hair in the corridor to the bathroom. Had fridge, kettle and glasses for bubbly. It was the perfect place to get ready for my big day. Open from 8am on the wedding day, or possibly earlier if you chat to Jill. A great place to keep valuables through out the day too. Even though the whole place feels so safe.

The reception space is great, and there’s lots of different ways you can set the tables out. We wanted a double sided top table, so we could sit with a few friends as well as family, and there was enough space for that in the barn.
We didn’t book the cabin, as we were staying in a hotel near by, but it was a lovely little place.

The barn between the reception room and the bar was great for all our wedding activities; photobooth and it’s props (Oh Photobooth), wedding cake, guest book and some extra seating places for people.

The bar was great too, we initially thought it might be a bit small for our 125 guests, but it never felt crowded or like you were waiting too long for a drink. The bar was really well stocked and have a variety of drinks including shots. The venue ask you for a list of drinks you’d like to offer, so will stock them for you and your guests.

The tipi dance floor is such a great space and big enough to fit a full band, dj booth and a sofa seating area, with still so much space for dancing. We spent most of our time here!

Having the ceremony outside was our dream for this venue, inside the barn and the tipi are beautiful too, but the space on the hill is what we fell in love with as photographers, we knew it was the place we needed to get married. The solid wooden arches are so beautiful and lead you up to the hill top, which looks out over the hills beyond. It’s almost church like with no walls, and feels so special.

Final thoughts:

Absolutely would recommend Bridal Barn to anyone wanting a beautiful rustic venue.

We wanted a venue that was secluded and all on one level, which as a wedding photographer myself is great, as it keeps all your guests together. When people are sat in the courtyard and tipi they can be seen from all parts of the venue, making it feel cosy and intimate, like you’re part of every part of your wedding day, even if you’re just on the dance floor. It felt great at night too, looking out over the venue from the dance floor, taking in all the fairy lights, fire pits and all our loved ones. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s magical place.

I don't really know what to say. Our wedding day couldn't have gone any better really. Our guests were amazed by the venue and amazed by the weather. Most of our dealings initially were with Jill before we were handed over to Ben who took care of everything that went on during our day. And it was so easy to coordinate the surprise elements of the wedding that my partner wasn't aware of. All in all it was a brilliant day

Our wedding at the Bridal Barn was absolutely perfect start to finish, I cannot recommend it enough! Upon first look, nestled down a country road it almost seems to good to be true, such a pretty picturesque barn with decent size capacity and of excellent condition, you can tell they take pride in the place. Soon after arriving we spoke to the small team who run/own the place - what a warm reception, they’re all super friendly and happy to answer any questions as well as being spot on with their level of communication - reassurance and not over bearing as some venues and suppliers can be.
We knew straight away (after viewing 10 or so), this is where we HAVE to get married! The venue has various options of where to hold the ceremony too with a good back up plan for British weather!
Fast forward a year and a couple of venue visits with lovely Jill, we were able to hire Ben as the co-ordinator. I just want to call him out for doing an amazing job!! Ben and his positive proactive attitude was exactly what we needed on the day to keep everything running smoothly to plan! He even managed to organise a last minute change of scenery due to the sun coming out, which I will forever appreciate.
The bridal lounge had recently been refreshed and had everything we needed for the bridal party to get ready on the morning, including plenty of mirrors and plugs, along with a fridge for the bubbly! We had access to this throughout the day, locked away from guests.

The views from the hilltop were incredible, if the weather allows I would highly recommend holding your ceremony up there!

The whole venue is in such lovely condition, and the people who run it really do know their stuff. If I could do it all over again I would 100% choose Bridal Barn. Thankyou for an unforgettable wedding day!

It is not an exaggeration to say that the Bridal Barn provided us with the perfect wedding - all our family and friends agreed. From the first time we looked around we knew that we would not find anywhere as beautiful, with the additional benefit of it being secluded. This gave us the feeling that the Barn belonged to us - if only for a day! The team (including the recommended suppliers) were professional and helped us to create the relaxed atmosphere that was high on our list of priorities.
We were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunny September day that allowed us to have the ceremony outside, with views across the gorgeous Shropshire countryside - looking at the photographs will forever make us smile.
We cannot recommend the Bridal Barn highly enough - beautiful venue, flexibility to have the suppliers of our choice, a responsive team - perfect.

The first time myself and my then fiancee saw the bridal barn was on a grey and rainy day, but even with that in mind and despite the fact it was the first venue we had arranged to see, instantly we knew that it was the one for us.
We had a great time working with Jill and Ben who made sure that the venue was just as we wanted it for our special day and when that day finally came we were blown away by how kind and friendly all the staff present were, all of them going out of their way to congratulate us and make us feel special.
It is a setting with endless beauty which really stirred our imagination and inspiration and made the day something we will treasure forever.

Where do I start, bridal barn speaks for itself, with its beautiful scenery and its rustic venue that was perfect for our special day. Ben was great throughout our day helping with everything we needed. Prior to the wedding Jill helped us every step of the way, nothing was too much for her from emails daily to phone calls she really helped to bring the day together what a fantastic lady. From our first visit right up to our special day Jill, Sarah, Ben and the team made sure our wedding dreams came true. The hill was the perfect setting for our ceremony in the day and moving to the tipi and courtyard in the evening was a great space for our evening disco. Sarah was a fantastic host and helped make sure everything ran smoothly on the day and it couldn’t have gone any better! The venue is stunning and great value especially if you are looking for the flexibility of using your own catering and suppliers. The team at the bridal barn where on hand to help with any questions we had and also offered recommendations for suppliers who were also faultless.

The team at the Bridal Barn were exceptional. Ben, Jill and Sarah really went above and beyond to make the day feel as bespoke and special as they could. They were super friendly, warm and were very responsive on email (planned from overseas). The barn is just beautiful with amazing character, beams and a stunning backdrop of fairy lights. The tipi makes for a brilliant place to dance the night away! If you’re considering Bridal Barn as a venue for your wedding, do it, you won’t regret it. And you wont find a more magical venue with more amazing people. The entire location is perfect, from the remote location nestled in the trees which makes the whole place feel so magical, to the incredible barn and atmospheric courtyard. I couldn’t have imagined a better place to marry my best friend. We booked our wedding nearly two years in advance and we were looked after so well by the fabulous Jill. Nothing was too much for her, she made our experience so special and we now consider her a true friend. Ben the owner was also fantastic and such a brilliant host on the day. The entire team just want you to have the most magical day, and we did. We wish we could relive the day a million times over. The bridal barn will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

After attending a wedding at the barns in 2022, it was top of our venue list when we began to look for our own wedding. We were not disappointed. From the moment we walked in as a ‘prospective customer’, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Jill was the main point of call and what Jill doesn’t know, isn’t worth knowing. She could not do enough for us and was always on hand to answer any questions. And I mean any question! If Jill doesn’t know the answer, she will find it! Ben is also lovely and was on hand all day on our wedding day making sure we were having the best time. We really did have the best time and I would recommend The Bridal Barns to anyone who is looking for a venue with such charm as the barn. The setting itself is stunning, you feel like you are worlds away from the everyday. It truly makes you feel like you’re in your own world and you HAVE to stay in the shepherds hut. It’s such a wonderful feeling to say goodnight to all your nearest and dearest and wake up with your new spouse, surrounded by wonderful wildlife and beautiful scenery the morning after. What a treat!

A truly magical place

As we approached the bridal barn from the most stunning driveway, it was obvious we’d found our perfect venue. We were met by owner Jill, who from start To finish could not have have done enough for us. She was full off advice, ideas and recommendations for various food, music and venue dressing suppliers, and welcomed our two gorgeous retrievers like the guests of honour they were. It was a quick turn around with only six months from engagement to wedding. Setting up the day before Jill, Ben and Paul were all on hand to do any last minute preparations and made the whole process very smooth, calm and easy. Our wedding day really was perfect. The bridal barn staff were faultless and Ben did an incredible job of hosting. At the end of our special day Paul did an amazing job of wrapping things up for the night. We had use of the buggy to transport us and our belongings over to the cosy shepherds hut, for our first night as husband and wife. The morning after the wedding we headed over to the bridal lounge and barn only to find Ben and his wonderful cleaning team Had grouped our things together for the Easiest tidy up we could have asked for.
