My husband and I held our wedding reception at Aston Wood in June 2023 and it was simply amazing. I have to start with Meg, the wedding coordinator. She is absolutely fantastic! Nothing is too much trouble for her, her communication is excellent and she ensured our day ran perfectly from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful. A great sized room with a great layout. There’s plenty of space for lots of guests inside if it rains and then you have the added luxury of the lovely patio area outside if you’re lucky with the weather. There’s some beautiful photo opportunities around the venue- our photos are stunning! The staff are also brilliant! I would highly recommend this beautiful venue for your big day! Amazing staff, incredible venue. All our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to, very accommodating to our needs and a massive shout out to Emma for her responsiveness with my many requests and Paul for being an outstanding host. Originally I booked a viewing whilst in Shrewsbury just to build viewing numbers. However we were absolutely taken by the venue style, beautiful but not pretentious and the genuine nature of the staff. 10/10 would recommend always. Wedding 6 September 2025.

We got married at Hampton Manor earlier this year on February 29th and had the "Fire & Fur" package. The whole day was incredible - if you are foodies, this is the place to go. Everything, from the canapés to the evening food, was incredible and all of our guests were raving that it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The extras that we were very fortunate to get with the fire & fur package really made it for us - sparklers in the evening were so much fun, and the decor they set up for us for the wedding breakfast looked stunning in the winter sunset. I would definitely recommend the tipi in the evening to anyone - it really made it for our guests, as it meant that those that didn't want to be dancing all night had something just as special and fun to enjoy. Thank you to Claire, Laura, Charlotte, Scott and the whole team who were brilliant. xx

From the moment we first visited Arley House & Gardens, we knew the venue itself was magical. The combination of the stunning house and the breathtaking, immaculate gardens provided the ultimate backdrop for our wedding day. It truly is a spectacular place, and visually, it surpassed all our expectations. However, the reason our day was truly perfect was entirely due to the incredible team of wedding coordinators. They went above and beyond the role of typical venue staff throughout the entire process, from our initial booking right through to the final moments of our reception. They transformed what could have been a stressful planning period into an easy, exciting journey. Their communication was impeccable, their professionalism was calming, and their dedication was unmatched. On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork. They managed all vendor coordination, timeline logistics, and unforeseen details with such grace and expertise that we were free to simply relax and soak up every single precious moment. We didn't have to worry about a thing! We cannot thank the Arley House team enough for their commitment. If you are looking for a venue that provides unparalleled beauty combined with dedicated, five-star support, look no further. We recently had our wedding at The Boat House, and I cannot express how thrilled we were with the entire experience. From the very beginning, staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. The communication was nothing short of excellent throughout the entire process. No question was ever too small, nor were there ever too many questions – they were all answered very thoroughly and promptly. Not only that, every email was met with professionalism and kindness. It truly felt like we were in good hands and it was so easy to build a rapport with the girls who work for The Boat House. The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained. It’s very modern with lots of light, which is great because it didn’t feel like it needed a lot of dressing up. Lots of places for photos and for guests to enjoy the day. The dressing room has also recently been renovated which made the getting ready process so luxurious. The food on the wedding day was even better than the day we did our menu tasting. We were impressed with the extensive selection of dishes available and the fact The Boat House catered to our preferences and guests dietary requirements so well. Each dish was presented so well and all the portions were generous. Whilst all of the staff we dealt with at The Boat House were great, we would also like to give a special mention to Abby who was absolutely incredible with us. From helping us set up the day beforehand, to helping look after my young niece before going down the aisle – Abby’s efforts always went beyond expectation. Nothing was too much trouble and she ensured that everything on the day ran like clockwork – I literally didn’t have to worry about a single thing, which made the entire process and day so stress free. Abby is an absolute credit to The Boat House and we can’t thank her enough. In summary, The Boat House provided an unforgettable experience for our special day. We genuinely couldn’t fault any part of the process and are incredibly grateful to every member of the team for making our day even better than we could have imagined.

We had a late October twilight wedding, Gemma and the team were on hand every step of the way. She was on hand to answer any questions nothing was too much trouble. The children at the wedding were catered for and had their own bespoke canapés. The venue is lovely and homely which suited out autumn vibe. On the day of the wedding Gemma was on hand to help woth last minute details and sorting the room out, making sure guests were seated. She even brought me a glass of water before walking down the aisle. We would highly recommend Slaters, Gemma and the team.

We viewed this venue twice, the second time in December, which led us to booking our Christmas wedding! The staff were more than happy to help with any questions we (I) had and were always helpful. We went to view a few times as we were planning the decorations and what to have where and they were so helpful. The actual day went smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about anything service or reception related except making sure we go round to talking to everyone! Plenty of places for photos as a couple if the weather is bad, rooms for friends and family to stay. Our guests all said they really enjoyed the breakfast too. We both wish we could have been a guest at our wedding to really appreciate it all. If you choose this place, you won’t regret it!

Ashton Lodge Country House was the most perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first arrived, we fell in love with the beautiful country house setting and the stunning spaces throughout. The light-filled ceremony room and the gorgeous marquee created the most elegant backdrop for our day, and everything looked absolutely incredible. We were so well looked after from start to finish. Emma, our coordinator, supported us every step of the way in the lead-up to the wedding and throughout the day itself. She was calm, organised, and made everything feel effortless. On the day, Ian was also a familiar, friendly face—helping at the bar and serving canapés with such warmth and genuine kindness. Their team truly made the whole experience feel personal and perfectly managed. The food, catered by the venue, was absolutely delicious, and we had so many compliments from our guests. Every detail was handled with care, and the entire day flowed seamlessly thanks to the wonderful staff working behind the scenes. We’re so grateful to Ashton Lodge Country House for giving us the most beautiful place to celebrate our wedding. It will always hold such special memories for us, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

From our first viewing we knew we would get married at Broadfield. From the cosy fire lit lounges and the extensive grounds, to the aisle in the woods it is truly breathtaking. With 9 bedrooms and potential to add 3 more with the coach house, organising is made easy. We started our celebrations on the Friday evening, having a celebratory dinner with 24 close friends/family. Suppliers are all checked by the venue prior to the date and they can all come to Broadfield, removing all the stresses of travel! The attention to detail from the staff was second to none meaning that our wedding day went smoothly with nothing for us to sort. Helen and the team were wonderful, from first meeting to check out. Ensuring we had everything we need. When hiring Broadfield you not only hire a wonderful venue but also a well experienced team and wedding planner. Our friends and family loved Broadfield and I'm sure this won't be the only time we stay. Thank you Broadfield, for helping us to have the woodland wedding of our dreams.
