The Greswolde Hotel held our wedding one week ago. I couldn't fault anything and nothing was too much including adding an extra person on a few weeks prior and making small seating changes the day prior! We had access to the room the day before to set up and the staff also helped take things down which made it much quicker. Food was lovely and myself, husband and all our guests had the best day! Even better that they had air con as it was 23 degrees!

II wanted to drop you all a line to say thank you! We have had a wonderful day on 1/9/19! It was exactly as laid back as we hoped it would be - just a great party with the closest friends & family. We have been lucky with the weather too ;) Thank you for making sure everything and everyone was in the right place at the right time - it all ran super smoothly. Thanks also to Tommy the DJ! I am sure we will be back soon to relive some memories! Until then the kindest regards from Kat & Steve

The Bell was a wonderful wedding venue. From our first visit, we such a positive vibe from the team and the barn looked beautiful. Amy was on hand from our initial meeting, answering our billions of questions and being very informative and patient along the way. Communication with The Bell was always excellent. All our questions were answered, and we were never left waiting to hear back. We had a couple of meetings between our first show around and our wedding day. Each one helped us to feel confident in our decision to use The Bell and made us look forward to our wedding even more. On the day, the staff were amazingly hardworking, professional and generally wonderful. Amy couldn't have done more for us and we are so grateful for her care, time and expertise. Dom was also on hand to help with questions and the set up, and again, we were really appreciative of his warmth and professionalism. Our wedding day was absolutely magical and ran beautifully. We had some of our group photos outside and went off with our photographer briefly for some additional photos in a nearby pretty field. Our guests loved the food and we loved the ability to choose from the group menu - which gave our guests much more choice over their food. The evening buffet was delicious as well. We couldn't be happier that we chose The Bell for our wedding. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Amy

This was the perfect venue for us, the team were brilliant at accommodating all of our needs and were so easy to get hold of. Brilliant value for money and the river out the back made it even more special.

We booked the upstairs area for our wedding reception last July 29, 2023. It was amazing! Lauren was very approachable from the get go. She answered all our questions and was a good communicator. We knew we were in good hands. They don't do decorations for the event so we had to provide our own and arrange the space the night before our reception but please don't let this stop you from booking them for your wedding. Talk to them first. If anything, I loved that they didn't provide decorations because my groom and I were able to put our own personal touches to the wedding reception venue. Special shout out to the guy (besides Matt) who was working the night of 28th July 2023, I didn't get his name but he was very helpful to us. The food was delicious. The guests had good things to say about the meals and I was very pleased. The staff were very professional and flexible to our needs. We had one child for our wedding and they went above and beyond to provide a kid's menu for just one child which I'm really grateful for. The day went on flawlessly. My husband and I cannot thank you all enough for making our wedding day very special! :)

We had the most amazing wedding day at The Manor, even better than we could've imagined. As well as our own positive experience, we have had so much positive feedback from all of our family and friends. Everyone loved the venue and we had so many people say it was the best wedding they'd been to because of how quaint and intimate it was but also with so much space with the layout of the Manor having so many different rooms. We were so happy it was a sunny day as the ceremony being outside overlooking the amazing views was the cherry on top. The food was AMAZING! I knew this would be the cased based off of the taster session that was included and also from previous meals I've had at the manor but it really did exceed our expectations. The rooms were all gorgeous and all of our guests loved them. Even breakfast the next morning was so smooth and again, gorgeous food. Communication from Natasha was great and she is so organised, it's really had a positive impact on the whole experience for me. I'm sad it's all over but we will be returning to the Manor for food on occasions due to it being the best food we've had anywhere in the local area and definitely for our anniversary every year 🙂 Also, I just want to say how amazing all of the staff were. The girls were all lovely and so on it. Most importantly Jane !!! Wow. She is amazing. She went so above and beyond and did so much more than she even needed to and it honestly made the day perfect. We have watched our wedding video back and you can see all the small touches she did to keep the day running smoothly, we are so grateful for her. From wiping down my husbands suit after I put cake in his face, to straightening out my dress for the photos, to time keeping the day. She even escorted us to our room at the end of the night and gave me a whole fresh pizza as I was drunk and hadn't eaten and said how hungry I was ! Nothing went unnoticed. She is so friendly and all of the guests loved her, my parents in particular were amazed at how organised and on the ball she was. All round, 10/10 and the best day of our lives 🙂 Could not recommend this venue enough if you are looking for an intimate wedding.

We meet several times with Ellie and Monique at Platform Three to go through our ideas and what would work. They have a wealth of experience and knowledge in how to accommodate suggestions. Nothing was an issue and they have a great “can do attitude”. We have a full sit down meal during the day with canapés in the evening. The food was excellent value, accompanied by beautiful wine which they helped us pick.

Our wedding reception at Whittles Restaurant was really special. It is such a fantastic and historic venue with so much character. We had the restaurant booked from 12-8pm, with the reception kicking off at 3pm. The tables were arranged exactly as we'd planned when we turned up at 12pm, so it was a very quick job to set up our table decorations before heading off to our ceremony. Anja was on hand to discuss logistics as we set up, and she helped move our wedding cake in the hours before the guests arrived to keep it out of the sun! When our guests arrived at 3pm, they enjoyed welcome drinks and canapes downstairs by the hearth, which was very welcome on a chilly January afternoon, before then moving upstairs to the restaurant area for the three course meal. The room was perfectly sized for our 25 guests, with enough space for mingling and activities. The food was absolutely delicious, and many of our guests commented about how much they enjoyed it. The vegan options were equally tasty and our vegan guests felt included and well looked after. The waiting team on the day went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and this allowed us to relax and enjoy the time with our family and friends. We had outlined a timeline for events and Edward made sure that we were on track throughout the evening. The staff, and especially Edward, made my husband and I feel like royalty the whole evening. The event hire and food pricing was very reasonable and the service impeccable. We're so grateful for the memories we were able to create there, and we would absolutely recommend Whittles as a reception venue to any future brides and grooms.
