Our philosophy is, to take as much stress away from you as possible, by including everything you need in one very attractive price! We often deliver your WHOLE package for the same cost that some Barn venues will charge you for hire only!
Our weddings take place in our beautifully restored 17th Century Tithe Barn with its 1000’s of twinkling fairy lights wrapped around oak beams and bespoke sculpted central chandelier, it’s the perfect location for couples seeking the perfect Shropshire wedding.
For anytime you're not in our Tithe Barn, our BRAND NEW "Garden Room Barn", is a stunning Oak timber Barn, with fully fitted Bar and landscaped patio area, perfect for group shots. There's a video you can see in our "video" secion of Hitched,. You'll be in here before and after the ceremony and also after your Wedding Breakfast, whilst we set up your evening reception.
Our experienced and dedicated wedding team will help you plan your dream wedding down to the finest detail. Our head chef Stuart Phillips and his team will oversee your menu. Our food has been awarded AA rosettes for over 26 consecutive years and so your wedding breakfast will be one your guests are sure to enjoy and remember
We’re situated in a quaint village of Norton, in the heart of Shropshire Countryside between Telford & Bridgnorth, The Hundred House is the place Barn Venue for your special day.
Our award winning gardens make the ideal setting for capturing your special day, photographers will love our unique gardens filled with native and exotic flowers, Shurbs and trees and with surprises at every turn they will be able to create the perfect wedding picture.
We have 10 bedrooms within the Hotel and a beautiful converted Railway Carriage if you which to stay over the night before your wedding and/or get ready onsite. All of our rooms are unique with beautiful antique furniture, chandeliers and newly refurbished bathrooms. Not forgetting our famous swings!

Wedding day
On the day the team were incredible, they thought of everything and made the day so seem less and stress free. They set up the rooms perfectly, the food was unreal, the day coordinator, bar staff and dj were all so good! We had the best day and to make it even better for what you have included the price is SO good. I say to my husband all the time that I would just love to relive that day.
Shoutout to Gemma for helping us plan and being so responsive to everything. And to DJ Steve who kept the dance floor full all night long! Also the bar staff who were so lovely

We trusted the team instantly that the vision that we had for our Christmas theme wedding could be put in place.
Communication was Excellent questions answered straight away.
We booked Lazy Marmalade at the wedding fayre too & have to mention how Fantastic they were Jon &
Alex sang our first dance song. Everyone mentioned how great they were.
The day of the wedding I was taken up to the Honeymoon suite & Kerrie came up to keep us up to date with the count down until my daughter & I went to see the registrars. Who soon made me feel at ease.
Everything was Perfect and the turn a round of the barn was very quick. We had the Garden room that was perfect for guests to have a drink sit & chat.
I have to say I was overwhelmed when we walked into the barn for our wedding breakfast what I had hoped was in fact above & beyond anything I could of dreamt of.
The food was Excellent the service so Professional Everyone so Friendly & Helpful.
The evening entertainment was great & the evening food perfect & plenty for everyone.
I cannot fault anything at all from start to finish.

There are no words to express how grateful we are to The Hundred House, we had so many ideas and questions, and the answers were simple - YES! Can we have karaoke? Yes! Can we have a bookish theme? Yes! Can we hang floating candles in the barn? Sounds cool, do it! What about a crisp wall? Photobooth? Live illustrator? And bookshelf style seating chart? Sounds great, go for it!!
We had so much DIY and were able to set up the day before, with staff on hand to help with whatever we asked! We were able to switch our bridal prep rooms the night before to make sure the bridal party didn’t melt to death on the hottest day of the year!
I have never met such a supportive and wonderful team, from the initial planning pros, Gem and Jo, answering all of our questions and supporting every single one of our ideas. Our on the day superstar, Kerry who was so helpful and handled any issues with ease and many without our knowledge! Our friends and family are still talking about the amazing food and service by the bar staff (our wonderful barman Mike!), the fantastic DJ, the beautiful gardens and Pegasus!!
We will never forget our day, or the incredible hard-work that the HH team did to support us. You made the many months of planning worth it, and delivered our wedding vision so perfectly! The bookish wedding of our dreams!💗📖

The perfect wedding venue
From the moment we found them we knew they were right for us. The venue is absolutely stunning and is the perfect backdrop for some lovely photos of the day, especially in the gardens.
When organising the day, they were extremely responsive and accommodating, and because of their many years of experience they were really able to understand our ideas for the day and help translate them into reality. There were absolutely no hidden costs and they are obscenely good value for money.
On the day itself, everything ran like clockwork - I can't think of a single thing, however small, that didn't run perfectly. Despite the military precision, everything felt calm, comfortable and relaxed, and our guests appreciated that a lot. The venue was decorated beautifully, and the hotel itself is a lovely and cosy place to get ready. We had the best day of our lives and many of our guests commented on how wonderful the venue was and how smooth things went. The food was absolutely exceptional, and there was plenty of it!
What really sets Hundred House apart are the staff. They moved heaven and earth to make the day great, and they were all kind, supportive and just generally lovely people. They even managed to ensure that our family dog was well looked after, and made sure that when my father had to step out mid-meal to look after the him, his dessert was delivered to his room without any issues whatsoever. Many of the staff have been there for years and have so much experience and it really shows.
Words cannot describe how thankful we are to the Hunded House and its staff, and I would recommend them in an instant. They have won tonnes of awards, and they deserve every single one of them, and many more.

The whole team were just incredible from start to finish, always on hand to answer any questions, made us feel so special and made our whole day the best! We’ve had so many amazing comments from guests and can honestly say everyone enjoyed every minute!

The wedding was stunning thanks to all the staff at hundred house.
Such professionalism, kindness and outstanding service made the day go so smoothly. Nothing was too much for them.
The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful.
I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone looking for a venue for a smallish wedding.

Hi, I'm Kerry, Operational Day Manager, I've worked at The Hundred House since 2019 and am conscientious to the last!
I will look after you on the morning of your Wedding, they will set up your Wedding & decor exactly how you want it and take care of everything in the first part of your Wedding day, from making sure all your guests are well looked after, Bridal Party have their buttonholes, being on hand on the morning for any whim or requests and very importantly – getting you up the aisle on time!
I will make sure that your day goes flawlessly, offer advise to your photographer of all the best places, show you the Barn before guests go into the Wedding breakfast, make sure all food is serviced perfectly and be there for speaches, to run over any gifts for guests.
Weddings are my passion and I will make sure you have your day exactly how you want it! xx
Hi, I'm Josh! I'll be here throughout your day, from the ceremony to packing up your decor when you've gone to bed!
Having worked at The Hundred House for over 10 years, I've been part of nearly 1000 weddings here, so I really do know weddings inside & out!
I will ensure your Wedding Breakfast & Evening Reception runs super smoothly, organising your cake cut,1st dance and evening food, making sure everyone has a great time until your bedtime calls!
