On 24.08.24 I said ‘I do’ at my childhood home here at Merrydale Manor along with our closest friends, family and our little boy Harley.
Merrydale is pure magic and I am forever grateful to have married the love of my life in the place I call home. The venue, the staff just everything is perfection.. The best day of our lives!

Attended my friend’s wedding here as a bridesmaid, and I can’t recommend this venue enough. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout, making sure everything ran smoothly. We stayed the night before in the bridal lodge, which was beautiful, and were seamlessly moved over to the makeup suite the next morning, which made the whole experience so easy and stress-free. Every detail was perfect, and the whole day was just magical. Would highly recommend to any future brides!

WOW! Our fairytale day at the dreamiest of venues!

From the moment we drove down the sweeping drive and set our eyes on the beautiful Merrydale Manor we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding on 15.02.25.

This venue has everything you could wish for and more! All our guests were stunned by the gorgeous Merrydale, exceptional service and friendliness of staff. The Bridal Party stayed in the lodges and Bridal Lodge the night before meaning they could start getting ready at the venue – these are gorgeous and so cosy and comfortable. The Groomsmen stayed at The Dog the night before which is connected to the venue and is amazing (we also had a lovely meal here the night before our Wedding). The service to move us over onto the Manor House was excellent, where we continued enjoying the morning getting ready for the big day; all while the Groomsmen arrived at Merrydale to enjoy time in The Cave. The whole day was seamless, everything was well organised and all ages were catered for. The ceremony room is stunning and gave a lovely vibe – we chose minimal décor and florals as the room just speaks for itself with an incredible backdrop of fields. The drinks reception flowed and we were so lucky to make use of the grounds for unbelievable photographs. The service from Barrett’s catering was second-to-none, everyone commented on how delicious their food was then it was time for sparklers outside before evening guests arrived and the party started – the sparkly dancefloor went down exceptionally well, especially with the children as we all partied until the early hours! The accommodation and venue is immaculate. Merrydale also recommended the best suppliers to us and we appreciated their expertise throughout the day.

We cannot thank the incredible Merrydale Manor team enough – we lost count of the times we called, emailed and attended the venue and nothing was ever too much trouble; staff were always welcoming and happy to see us. Special thanks to Robyn and Nikita who were both a dream to work with!

It really was a fairytale day; just wish we could do it all over again! We don’t have enough words to describe how magical it was.

Merrydale Manor are simply the best at what they do! The staff are amazing and take the stress out of what can be a very stressful time. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we had our dream day last Sunday. Everything works like clockwork and we could not have picked a better place to host our special day! We visited 21 venues before visiting Merrydale Manor and once we saw it there was no where else we could have picked! It blew the competition out of the water! Stunning venue, every single attention to detail is thought of at Merrydale Manor! And the staff are so attentive and supportive! Everyone is still in awe at the beauty and grounds. An absolute joy from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have use of the Manor the night before, which really extended the celebrations, although you can use the dedicated Bridal Lodge if the Manor is in use. Staff (Sam and Georgia) were present but discreet, and saw that the day ran smoothly and efficiently. The venue was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees, lights and decorations which gave it a fabulous holiday feel. Such a spectacular setting for a stunning wedding. Thank you Merrydale Team - the dream location.

Everything at Merrydale was seamless from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with during the lead up to our wedding and on the day could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The staff service is second to none. The layout of the venue is absolutely perfect with minimal moving around for guests throughout the day as well as being absolutely stunning.

We loved everything about Merrydale. So much of the thinking was done for us which made a massive difference to the stress levels both on the day and the run up.

We got married here in March 2024 and if there’s one thing I can say about Merrydale it’s they are absolute professionals (almost military!) at what they do. This team is INCREDIBLE. The amount of questions I had in the year or 2 before our wedding day, and how professional and swiftly they were answered by Nikita and the team was so reassuring. I’ve honestly never dealt with a more professional team in my life and although I knew I could trust them, I still had those bridal nerves on the wedding morning that something could go wrong. I had so much going on in the day, and I felt I had so many requests that I gave to the team that I wanted to be implemented that I was convinced something would slip, but wow - the day went so smoothly. Seeing the team with their walkie talkies making sure everything needed to be where it should have been (including me and my bridesmaids!) was amazing. I wish I could do it all again, Sam and the team made the whole day run so smoothly and absolutely nothing went wrong. They’re amazing - I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. Especially if you’re a worrier like me! Thank you so much guys xx

From the moment we set eyes on Merrydale we fell in love with how beautiful the venue is, with its beautiful long driveway leading to the Manor House and the elegant horse statue, the lake with the jetty and fountain, and seperate ceremony room with a backdrop to die for! The windows in the ceremony room let all the natural light through to make the most beautiful light for your photos 😍 the Manor House itself is just spectacular in every single room with everything you would need if you choose to stay, and clean….!!! Wow there isn’t a spec of dust or dirt in the whole place!! The bridal prep area again is just stunning and all that light!! There’s also a great area for the guys to get ready and relax, play games and enjoy themselves pre wedding.

Our Wedding was the best day of our lives and I can honestly say most of this is down to Merrydale!
Not just the venue itself but for the service you get, it’s absolutely the best you could get anywhere in the world! From the very beginning Robyn showed us around and she was like talking to your maid of honour, she had my back, she knew my vision and I felt like she would make it happen, she went above and beyond to offer us our dream wedding! Throughout our lead up we dealt with most of the staff there including the owner and I have to say everyone is the same, just incredible, every last one of the team from the owner to the cleaners, just brilliant people who make you feel so special, On our Wedding Sam was assigned to be our wedding coordinator and from the moment we arrived the night before she was again fantastic, she knows weddings inside out and we felt instantly more relaxed, she dealt with everything from hanging my dress to unpacking our food and drinks, helping with our favours, sorting the suits, timing the music perfectly, sorting my dress so it was perfect for down the isle, even putting Alistair’s glasses next to his speech!… literally everything!
I can honestly say everything (apart from weather, but that really didn’t matter at all) was absolutely PERFECT, seamless, the day was like a dream! Better than we ever could have imagined… we are just sad we can’t do it again :(
Anyone looking at Merrydale don’t hesitate, you will not find a better venue with better people, I’d give Merrydale 100 stars if I could! Thank you to all the Team ❤️

Words really cannot describe how amazing Merrydale and the whole team are! The service was the highest standard from the moment we went to the open day, just over a year ago, to the moment we left this morning following our wedding yesterday. All of your possible needs are catered for and every detail attended. Even when you don’t know something is required the Merrydale team do and it’s already in hand. It really is a seamless operation which made our day more magical than we ever could have hoped for. We honestly cannot thank the team enough, we would (and have) recommended them without any doubt! The food, accommodation, staff, contact throughout and suppliers really are 5 star ⭐️ Our day was amazing and we really do attribute a huge part of that to the team at Merrydale

We loved every part of having our wedding reception at Merrydale! The staff during the pre planning were a dream to work with, making everything easy and no stress.
The venue itself is stunning, the grounds are beautiful and the house is very well thought out. The bar area is spacious and modern, the breakfast/party room works really well and having the ‘keys’ to the house to stay over afterwards with guests was fantastic.
All the staff throughout the day were so lovely and friendly.
We got so many comments about what a fabulous venue it was!
