Hellens Manor

Hellens Manor is a charming wedding and event venue located in Much Marcle, Herefordshire. This magical country estate is filled with creative spirit, whimsy, music, and art. At its heart is a beautiful manor house dating in parts back over 1,000 years, and you can feel the historic ambience everywhere you turn. We host just ten weddings a year, and each one is unique. If you're looking for an enchanting setting to host your one-of-a-kind celebration, you're in the right place.

Hellens Manor can tailor your wedding to your requirements. We are licensed as a venue for civil ceremonies and offer a choice of elegant, flexible event spaces: on the East Lawn, to the front of the house, or in our magnificent Great Barn. We can accommodate ceremonies between two and 120 guests.

If you are getting married elsewhere and just want your ceremony at Hellens, it is equally as magical. We host 'first drinks' on the East Terrace and inside the manor house, followed by a fabulous reception in our Great Barn, which seats 100 people comfortably on round tables. There is a space for a dance floor, a band, a large catering kitchen, bathroom facilities, and outside areas for mingling.

Our Haywain Barn is used as a large bar area with outside seating under the apple and pear trees in the orchard. There are lots of spots among the gardens for photography, wistful gatherings, and games such as boules and croquet.

And if you wanted to continue the celebrations with a chosen few, our Georgian Stables offers on-site wedding accommodation for 16 people in a mix of single, shared, and double ensuite rooms.
