From the moment my wife and I saw this venue, we knew it was the one. The space is beautiful and because you can use the space however you want, it really does make it more personal.

Laura was amazing, she laid out everything that was included, said exactly how much everything would be and made our experience and planning so wonderful. Everyone there was so helpful and made the process go very smoothly. The venue was so affordable and budget friendly.

My wife and I are a same sex couple, out of all the venues/ people we saw and met, Laura is the only one who didn't make us feel uncomfortable, who didn't look at us like we didn't belong there. We felt very comfortable and that really does mean a lot. So we recommend LGBTQIA+ couples to come here... well we recommend all couples really! But its very LGBTQIA+ safe.

Where do I start, I have so many amazing things to talk about!!
So, myself and my wife held our wedding here on 06th Sept 2025, and it was the best decision we have made. The whole process was just so easy, from start to finish!
We went and looked around The Sheepshed at one of their open days, from then we fell in love with the venue.
So we booked it, the cost of the venue was definitely reasonable for what you get!
Laura (Venue owner) was easy going and understanding and that made everything flow so easy. I didn’t think Laura was prepared for the kind of wedding we wanted, however herself and Elio were absolutely amazing throughout the whole day!
We had a last minute cancellation from our food vendor on the day, however Laura and Elio really helped us get sorted on the day, 10/10 for everything they did!
When you book the venue you’ll get a list of recommendations for everything you’ll need on the day, it’s nice especially when your not from the area, makes things a lot easier.
We were allowed in from Friday and had the venue until midday on Sunday, so much time to get things sorted without rushing, which is exactly what you need on your wedding day!!
Whatever you need, they’ve got you, from start to finish.
Were absolutely gutted the days over, however we are planning on booking the venue again for something else in the near future because we just absolutely loved the place!
If your looking for a relaxed, beautiful, scenic wedding venue then this is the place for you!

Myself and my partner had the most amazing experience having our wedding at the Sheepshed! Right from the start Laura & Elio were so accommodating, easy going and helpful. They both made everything so easy for us. Not to mention how beautiful the venue is, it was perfect! We didn’t need to do hardly any decorating because the place is just simply beautiful as it is.
It was accessible for all our guests with plenty of parking, also very easy to find whilst being in a beautiful location with a back drop of lovely views.
We honestly couldn’t recommend the sheepshed more!

The hit and miss weather didn't go in our favour and we had to ditch the outdoor ceremony idea in the beautiful scenery to have the ceremony in the equally beautiful barn, involving a last minute rearrange of tables and seating, done effortlessly by Laura and the team. With a fantastic list of recommended suppliers, gently decorated ready to put your own stamp on it, the barn looked absolutely beautiful, and the space was exactly what I wanted.... Large and open so guests weren't segregated in different rooms. The choir, DJ and band sounded fantastic in the acoustically adept ceiling style. We managed a few pics outside between rain showers. On packing away day most items had been put nearly ready for us to pack straight in to the cars, which was very welcome for a tired and hungover couple! Thank you so much guys!!!

We had a beautiful wedding that was flexible, accommodating and easy to organise. We looked everywhere to find a venue that allowed us to have a laid back atmosphere and was within our budget, and I couldn't fault the sheepshed. Laura and Ellio go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect, not just for the day but the decorating before and the clean up afterwards. They are genuinely lovely people who are down to earth. We didn't want a conventional wedding and alot of venues wouldn't allow this; but the sheepshed gave us the opportunity to have our dream wedding. We left there wanting to do it all again, well worth every penny 👍

The venue itself is absolutely fantastic — The Sheep Shed is beautifully designed, with so much character and charm. You can clearly see the love and thought Laura and Elio have poured into every corner of it. It’s the perfect setting for a truly unique and unforgettable wedding.

They made sure our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. Both Laura and Elio are so down-to-earth and genuinely want the best for each couple they work with. The time, energy, and dedication they put into making our day so special was nothing short of exceptional.

The Sheepshed was exactly what we were looking for when we began our wedding plans and it truly lived up to everything we had hoped for. The rustic vibe of the venue gave a fantastic canvas to work around and had all the facilities you could need for your big day with added extras such as tea and coffee provided for guests, toiletries in the toilets, a fire pit for outdoor chats in the evening and many more. We got married in May which meant the top of the field was full of gorgeous bluebells which provided a fantastic back drop for some photos too! The owners were incredibly accommodating, remaining professional but friendly at all times and welcomed our whole family, not just us as a couple. They were flexible around any changes we made along the process and happy to change times to meet us at the venue etc. we received so many compliments from our guests on the venue and all said they would recommend to others. Laura and Elio are the people you need when it comes to planning a wedding and ensured everything ran smoothly for us. We can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!

We got married at the Sheepshed 2 days ago and feel we have to write this review straightaway. We want everyone to know about this marvellous venue!

How lucky we are to have such an incredible venue in a beautiful setting, just 20mins down the road. If you think the journey to the venue is pretty, just wait until you arrive, it is the most picturesque setting for any type of party. Our photographer was having a field day! We managed to capture the best shots.

Laura and Elio are exceptional hosts. 5 stars isn’t enough, we would give them 10 if we could!! Nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond from start to finish. They have literally thought of everything and offered us the best advice to make our day absolutely perfect. They were present and always at the ready to help, assist and guide us through anything.

Not only were they present with us, they were also very attentive to our guests and our wedding suppliers. Each one of our chosen suppliers have commented on how brilliant the sheepshed is at communicating with them all. Their level of professionalism is outstanding.

Wow…where to start. Since the very first time visiting The Sheepshed we knew it was the venue of our dreams. It’s in the most picturesque setting, surrounded by fields, perfect for our outdoor ceremony. The decor inside the venue is stunning whilst also giving you a blank canvas to do what you like with the space. Laura and Elio are just the most amazing hosts, they went absolutely above and beyond for us, incredible from the very first correspondence to making sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We cannot thank you both enough, we had the wedding of our dreams. All of our guests were just blown away by the venue, setting, how relaxed and just absolutely perfect the day was. All of the facilities are great, everywhere is so clean and the attention to detail is incredible. Again, thank you Laura and Elio for everything you have done, it was the best day of our lives.

We had our wedding at the Sheepshed at the weekend. It was the absolute best weekend we could have asked for.
Laura and Elio who own the Sheepshed worked tirelessly to make sure everything went the way we wanted, they were unbelievable! They were on hand all the time in the lead up to answer any questions or make recommendations. They were open to anything we wanted to do, they had amazing suggestions and really helped us work out our logistics to get the wedding we wanted.
The Sheepshed is such a great venue, it’s so lovely that everything is all in one huge room, we had everything in there, the ceremony, the food, the bar and the dancing. It was perfect!
Laura and Elio had a load of games which they put out and our guests loved them!
Our caterers said they loved the catering area as they had loads of room and power and everything they needed to create our delicious feast. They were really impressed with the space available and the facilities at the Sheepshed.
We hired some bell tents from Laura and Elio to accommodate our guests for our festival style wedding, the tents were such a hit. Real beds, duvets, lanterns, fairy lights, phone chargers, they thought of everything. They were so comfortable!
The best thing about the Sheepshed is how much of a blank canvas it is, you can literally dress the venue however you want to, we went super colourful for the festival style with ribbons and bunting but you could do anything in there, it’s such a versatile space. The setting is absolutely perfect too, gorgeous rolling hills, lovely views. Laura and Elio even had some beautiful friendly horses in the next field.
We can’t tell you how happy we are we booked this venue. All our guests said it was the best wedding venue they’ve been to. Would highly recommend. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

From the first tentative contact to the bleary clean up day after the wedding, Laura was an absolute star. Always responsive, always available and always smiling. After getting rid of the last of the revellers at about 1 am she taken down all our decorations for us and cleaned the venue by the time we turned up at 9 am the next day

They were there from day 1 making sure that they knew all of the details.. took the pressure off massively and made me so chilled out!!
