Wedding Venues in Staffordshire

My wife and I booked the Borough arms hotel in Newcastle under Lyme for our wedding. Too be honest it was our first choice. We only wanted a small gathering and this was the perfect venue for us as it was easy for all our guests to get to, we had guests coming from as far as Devon, wales and winsford, so with it being an hotel guests had the option to book rooms to stay the night of the wedding. We had a wedding coordinator who helped us every step of the way in planning our special day. As the Borough arms hotel is licensed to conduct ceremonies there we decided to have our wedding all in one place, so guests did not have to travel to 2 different venues. So we booked the baker room which our ceremony took place. We submitted our song choices for the ceremony which Jennifer kindly put the songs on a cd as the usb didn’t work. On the day we were having flowers, cake being delivered which the staff took care of and put them where they needed to be The baker room was set out with the colours we wanted. Over the road there is a nice area where photos can be taken, sadly as our wedding was in October we couldn’t guarantee the weather, but we did manage to get some decent pictures before the rain came, but if the weather is good it’s a great place to get some nice pictures. After the ceremony we went to the bar area where people had their drinks whilst photos were being taken. Then our guests were ushered into the room where we had our wedding breakfast, the room was decorated beautifully to our colours .my wife and I were then announced as Mr and Mrs, The food that our guests ordered were served table by table which is a great system and it didn’t take long for all the tables to receive their food. We ordered wine for the tables for our guests and provided stickers for the bottles which the staff kindly put on the bottles. The 3 course meal was amazing and good portions, the servers were so friendly and professional nothing was too much trouble for them. After the meal we were served tea and coffee. When all the speeches were done the room was then getting ready for the evening reception. We used the hotels Dj who was brilliant and kept to our playlist. Overall Jennifer and her team made our special day amazing and we could not thank them enough. So if you’re looking for a wedding venue I would recommend the Borough Arms hotel in Newcastle under Lyme. Great service from start to finish.

Lisa went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was exactly how we dreamed it would be — nothing was ever too much trouble. She kept us calm, organised, and made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable (which is saying something when planning a wedding!). The venue itself is absolutely stunning — the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern style. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was and how seamless the day felt. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better team. Weston Hall is total perfection for weddings. Our daughter's wedding was nothing less than perfect. The staff were amazing, food exceptional and the venue is magical. Realistically priced there really is nothing negative to say. Thank you for making the wedding total perfection ❤️❤️❤️

We had our wedding here 30.10.25 and are so happy we chose the three horseshoes over anywhere else. For everything we got it was amazing value. Food was absolutely to die for and portion sizes were very generous. Personal touches and friendly professional attitudes by everyone involved made the day run super smoothly and everything we could have imagined and more. Special shout out to Michaela who spent the day coordinating everything down to the letter. Such a lovely lady. Would recommend to absolutely anyone.

Honestly me and my husband are so glad we chose here to have our reception and evening party. The professionalism from first enquiry right to the big day itself was exceptional, very accommodating of our requirements and requests. Plus due to the new ride being built next to the room we had booked, they moved us to another function room with no extra charge or issue. Definitely recommend Drayton Manor for your wedding, was the best day ever and was definitely a talking point of how unique the venue was even now the wedding is over

The most beautiful wedding location! We got married at Alrewas Hayes in September and it was perfect. Emma in particular is such a pleasure to work with and made the planning experience so easy - I didn’t feel stressed once, not even on the morning! Our parents commented specifically how calm she was and how that really helped them feel at ease on a day that otherwise could’ve been incredibly stressful. The rest of the staff were fantastic as well - the service was impeccable, the bar staff friendly, and the food was amazing! We’ve had nothing but compliments about how great the food was, and portions were so much better than most weddings we’ve been to. If we could do our day again, I’d absolutely pick Alrewas Hayes again, it’s just the most perfect place to get married!

From the moment we visited The Ashes Barns for the first time we knew instantly this was the place we wanted to get married! We were welcomed with warmth and big smiles by all of the team, who were just as excited as us to be planning our wedding! The venue and the grounds itself are absolutely breathtaking, a building that holds so much history and so much love! We cannot thank the staff enough for all the effort and dedication they put in to making our day so special and fun so smoothly. But we would like to thank Sarah especially for guiding us through every step of our planning process, your support and hard work didn’t go unnoticed! Our day was perfect! Lexie and the team made sure that it went as smoothly as possible! The communication on the run up to the wedding was great, they were so responsive to emails and accommodated all of our requests. The food was incredible, all of our guests were blown away but the canapés, wedding breakfast and evening pizzas! Not to mention the full English breakfast! We would 100% recommend the moat house as a wedding venue!
