My daughter got married recently at Chiseldon House, excellent venue and it was a beautiful day for the ceremony to take place in the courtyard. However there were several issues leading up to and including on the day, fortunately guests were oblivious to certain things which were only evident to us. After raising these issues both by email and letter the responses were both slow and we had no explanations of issues raised. We felt this was not only unacceptable but also very unprofessional. We were eventually offered an Afternoon Tea (which from other reviews we noticed was their stock policy,) we declined and suggested the cost of the Tea should be donated to a local charity, we had no further response!! To anyone considering this hotel, we would suggest you have to have your eye on the ball all the time and on the day, which should be relaxing and trouble free, you will still find they can come up short of your expectations and do not expect any After Sales assistance, it was clear to us there is none! With our experience we would not recommend this hotel but to those who choose it, good luck.

We had the most perfect and intimate day at chiseldon house. The staff were amazing and nothing was a problem. Absolutely beautiful setting. We had always planned to have a small wedding and even with covid restrictions it was perfect. Thank you to Claire and her team. x
