I got married here in October 2024. It’s taken me so long to write this review as I truly couldn’t find the words to describe our day and how perfect this venue was.

From the day we booked, in April 2023, Louise had been outstanding, always on hand for any silly questions I had, and always greeting like an old friend when we popped into wedding fairs to show various family and friends.
The entire team made us feel so welcome and so important all the way through, they listened to our needs, made helpful suggestions and dealt with any questions and queries seamlessly and quickly. Special thanks to Connor for all his help, I’m sure he’s glad to see the back of us haha!

On the day, nothing was too much trouble. I feel as though I had to do nothing but enjoy the day which was honestly perfect. Louise and Kezia handled everything and ensured the day ran smoothly, even making sure we had canapés to enjoy for ourselves while we had couples portraits taken. I feel as though we didn’t have to think of anything, the team had it handled and I got to sit back and just take in our wedding and enjoy being a bride.

The food was phenomenal, we were able to tailor it to our own preferences and there was no issues with allergies or dietary requirements. Gluten free guests weren’t made to feel different or inconvenient, their meals looked the same and were highly complimented, but special care was taken to ensure their safety and comfort.
I still think about the Beef - I highly recommend it, it was unreal!

They even allow dogs, so our boy got to partake in the day too!

I would choose this venue again and again. The setting is beautiful, the staff are incredible, the food is delicious and everything was just so perfect.
I’ve lost count of the compliments we had about the venue and how seamless the day was. I truly cannot recommend Highfield Hall more highly, and I cannot thank their team enough for helping to make our wedding day so perfect.

We had our wedding on 21st December 2025, we booked our date back in July 2024 so we had about 18 months to plan. We got allocated Flo our wedding coordinator about 8 weeks before the wedding and she was always so helpful if we had any questions. We had our final meeting 6 weeks before the wedding with Flo and Flo made everything so easy, she wrote us down a table plan, order of the day and just generally helped us with any questions we had, we had some last minute changes to the guest list and this was still not a problem. nothing was ever too much! We didn't hire any wedding venue stylist for our wedding, apart from Horizon Event Hire who provided us a Photobooth for the evening and Light up Mr and Mrs sign for the day! Which I must say the photobooth was a hit! I provided all the decor which Flo and the team at highfield hall kindly put out for us and made the venue look so beautiful. As it was Christmas time we luckily had the venue already decorated all christmassy from highfield which made it look so good! On the day I turned up at the venue at 7am to the getting ready room with my bridesmaids and flower girls and it was easy to access and Flo joined us at 8am making sure we we're all okay. I went into the venue a few times to check it was all looking good and flo and the team set it up all perfectly! My husband arrived at the venue at 12pm with his groomsmen for the ceremony at 1pm. Once we were all ready I was taken up to the honeymoon suite to get my dress on, which flo kindly helped as there was a lot of buttons on the back! Then during the day and evening flo was always there around checking everything was okay, Flo finished her shift towards the evening and let me know who was going to be looking after us. I honestly could not fault Highfield hall at all. The price we paid was amazing for the venue we got and we cannot complain. Thank you so much Highfield Hall!

We recently got married at highfield hall and they could not have been any more accommodating. Despite having stepped in at the last minute, Ella was absolutely phenomenal. She and the rest of the staff made sure the day ran absolutely perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. From dealing with last minute guest complications, to outside factors, the team made sure absolutely nothing disrupted our day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful as well. I highly recommend the night before package as i found the peace of mind of the wedding party all already being in the building very comforting and it limited the stress the morning of. I truly have not got one negative about our day.

We got married at Highfield Hall on 16/10/2025 and it really was the best day of our lives. The venue was perfect for us, so intimate and private. Louise our wedding coordinator was amazing and nothing was too much of an ask! All of our guests commented on how nice all of the food was on the day. We wish we could do the whole day again and would change a thing!

Where do I even begin? From the very first viewing, we knew we had found our dream venue. As an event manager myself, and someone who's worked in the wedding industry for years, I’d been searching for *my* venue for over five years - and finally, I found it in Highfield Hall.

Handing over the reins to another coordinator could have been daunting, but working with Lils made everything feel effortless. She was nothing short of amazing. From the planning stages right through to the last dance, every single detail was handled with such care and precision. I didn't have to worry about a thing - she had me in the right place at the right time, remembered every tiny detail I’d asked for, and made sure everything looked and felt exactly how I imagined.

The venue itself? A total dream. The exclusivity, the stunning grounds, the beautiful indoor spaces, and the incredible rooms - it truly had everything. The team was beyond accommodating; nothing was too much to ask. They went above and beyond to tailor everything to us - from adjusting the evening food to ensuring all dietary requirements were met with ease and professionalism.

To say it was the best day of our lives doesn’t even come close. I will continue to recommend Highfield Hall to absolutely everyone I know - it’s a must-see venue for your special day. A million thank yous to the whole team. You made our dream wedding a reality, and I’ll never stop being grateful.

Absolutely brilliant venue, the staff are amazing and so accommodating. Food is excellent.
We used friends of Highfield Hall for our suppliers and they were great.

An amazing day, nothing was too much trouble, wouldn’t change a thing

Love the venue, very beautiful - but communication from the staff is significantly lacking and emails would remain unanswered for days and weeks.

12 out of the 16 bedrooms had problems, ranging from: no toilet paper (in several of them), peeling wallpaper, windows that wouldn’t close, chewing gum on bed sheets, toilets that did not flush and housekeeping walking in the room before checkout whilst guests were on the toilet - and more!

Manager was informed of the room problems the following day and no follow up/explanation or apology has occurred.

The beer ran out during the wedding and took a long time for more to come back on, 2 pumps were completely out of use.

Father of the Bride wanted to buy more Prosecco as there was not enough, member of staff refused and walked away.

Staff member refused to clean up a spill because they were too busy and refused to give a guest a mop to clean it up themselves - leaving the floor wet and slippery.

Wedding day itself was lovely for the bride and groom, but from 9:30am the following day was met with a barrage of problems. Problems caused by the venue staff and seriously impacting the happiness of the occasion.

Words can't describe how perfect our wedding day was and we absolutely loved our perfect venue.
From start to finish the service we received has been absolutely outstanding, nothing had been too much trouble to arrange and all of our questions were answered with no issues at all. Lorraine kept me at ease throughout the entire wedding prep - we visited the hotel regularly (because we simply couldn't stay away!) and fell in love with it more and more each time. The package with Highfield is fantastic, with great choices of colours, table centerpieces, food etc - both Lorraine & Rich gave us fantastic suggestions and helped get things perfect for our special day. We can not thank you both enough for the tremendous work and effort that went into our day, it was magical. Big thanks to Lorraine for talking me through points during the day, keeping me at ease even at this point. The food was outstanding and all of our guests have commented on this and how beautiful the set up was and this is all thanks to you and your lovely staff. from the bottom of our hearts thank you so much xxx love Mr & Mrs Donlan xxx

We have just got married here, 2 days ago. From the moment we arrived we fell in love not only with the venue but the atmosphere and Lorraine and Richard could not do enough for us. Lorraine is an absolutely astonishing person who helped us through absolutely everything, from the smallest issue to the biggest emotions she was a rock. Highfield hall is beautiful, its personal, its intimate, its exclusive, it is the perfect wedding venue, not only for the hall and grounds but for the owners and staff. We had the most amazing day and would like to thank Lorraine and everyone at Highfield hall for helping make it the most perfect, cant wait to come and visit you soon xx

We had our wedding here in 2003, it was fantastic the staff were extremely helpful and attentative, the food was delicious, the gardens beautiful - the whole day was just fabulous. Cannot recommend it highly enough, in fact my sister is getting married there next week - good luck Mel & Dave hope your day is as fabulous as ours was - enjoy!

I attended my Sisters Wedding we had a lovely meal. Roast Potatoes were scrumptious. the whole day was lovely and the setting for the actual wedding in the conservatory was beautiful. the staff could not do enough for you. have looked at this venue for my wedding this year but unfortunately that date was gone.
