The Bull Hotel in Bridport, Dorset, is a beautiful 16 Century, GradeII listed venue, Elegant and sophisticated, yet quirky and unique, perfect for a wedding your guests are guaranteed to remember. th This beautiful coaching inn was built in 1535 in historic Bridport, on the Dorset coast. Packed with character and history, The Bull Hotel offers two entirely different event spaces, as well as two smaller private spaces perfect for those smaller gatherings, so there is something suitable for every style of occasion or section of your day. The Ballroom The dazzling Georgian ballroom, with its crystal chandeliers and minstrels’ gallery offers a more traditional and elegant setting. The Hayloft If you are looking for something a little different and rustic, The Hayloft, situated in the old stable building towards the back of the Hotel, is your rustic haven. Ostler Room & Private Dining Room Alternatively, for smaller wedding parties or that pre/post wedding gathering, the elegance and intimacy of our smaller spaces is a delightful choice for smaller parties. The Rooms
We have 19 beautiful bedrooms. Our rooms are warm, inviting, unique, and individual … some have vintage roll-top tubs or grandstand views of Bridport street life from original bay windows. Three have a four-poster bed. They range in size from a teeny single room to a vast family suite. They all feature glamorous signature wallpapers, deluxe king-size beds, flat-screen TVs, white blackout blinds, fine Egyptian cotton linen, robes, a hospitality tray, and Bramley toiletries in luxury ensuite bathrooms.
Wedding, anniversary, birthday; whatever the excuse, The Bull is the perfect venue for the party of a lifetime.

A lovely wedding venue
The food was great and the portions were very generous - we had so many comments from guests about how good it was. The pricing is incredibly fair considering how you much you get!
We stayed overnight and our room was beautifully designed, taking into consideration the heritage of the building, and the roll top bath was an added bonus. The breakfast offering the next day was also delicious.
We would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again! A special thank you to Kerry, Merlin and Sophie, and anyone else who helped out on the day :)
