Perched on two-and-a-half acres of country gardens, Heather Glen boasts an array of event spaces to host your entire wedding day, from the wedding breakfast to a reception that runs long into the night. The West View Room is licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 110 guests. This intimate setting includes chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow natural light to fill the room. This also offers easy access to the outdoors, where you can take cherished post-ceremony images. Banquets and receptions can follow in the Eden View Restaurant or another of the designated reception rooms. The Eden View Room seamlessly transforms for evening celebrations with a permenant dancefloor. One of the many wonderful features of Heather Glen is the numerous cosy lounge areas which provide the perfect space to sit back and relax for a moment.

The Bedrooms

Heather Glen Country House provides a total of 11 guest ensuite rooms and suites to use during celebrations. The recently refurbished superior bridal suite has views over the gardens and countryside, with a luxurious bathroom with a large bath and double sized walk-in shower. Each of the rooms include all mod-cons and they have been finished to an excellent standard. Additional features include an accessible lift to the first floor, as well as pet-friendly rooms for those wanting to celebrate with their four-legged friend.

The events staff at Heather Glen Country House are on hand to ensure that your wedding runs smoothly. Several wedding packages have been carefully put together to suit all wedding dreams, and bespoke packages can be created, too. The Valley Package is the most comprehensive collection featuring 110 day guests, a welcome drink, prosecco toasts, a bespoke three-course wedding menu, nine bedrooms, a bridal suite, and breakfast the following morning. A designated wedding coordinator and toast master can also be supplied.

The Wedding Breakfast

The team of long standing, dedicated chefs are committed to serving delicious food made with only the best locally sourced ingredients. Your guests can choose from dishes on the bespoke wedding breakfast menu at no additional charge. Charges cover all the setup costs, crockery, cutlery, glasses, white table linen and napkins, seating plan easel, cake knife and silver cake stand, highchairs and booster seats.

A Look Back at Heather Glen

This 19th-century property was originally built in 1900 before opening its doors to the public in the 1950s. Having undergone renovations in 2008, this estate has been restored to its former glory, complete with modern amenities, in order to host magical celebrations.
