My wife and I had our wedding at the hotel in the Regis suite. Our original venue had issues which meant cancelling 5 weeks before which was immensely stressful but the Alma Lodge were able to accommodate us at such short notice. The venue was amazing and the food was incredible. The hotel gave a complimentary room not only the night of, but also the night before, plus many of our guests were also able to stay. All of our guests complimented the venue itself, the food and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The bridal suite was perfect for the bride, and all the bridesmaids giving them somewhere secluded to prepare for the day. All the staff were incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding, the night prior when we were decorating and the day of the wedding and were there for everything we needed. They took care of everything throughout and were so kind in their comments to myself, my wife, family and guests. I would 100% recommend the Alma Lodge to anyone wanting to hold an event or staying there. Thank you so much to all the staff, you helped give us the wedding of our dreams 😊

We had our wedding in July 24 after booking the venue in the April. Kate was fantastic throughout, from initial viewings (I went twice each with a different bridesmaid) through to the morning after. She made sure the day was perfect and even better than what we could have imagined. We had a smaller wedding for during the day (45a 10c) (we didn't hold the ceremony at the venue as this had been booked elsewhere previously) and the room was set up for the breakfast perfectly for us, enclosing part of the room to allow a secondary entrance for us (and a place for the kids to let off some steam during the speeches with the adults needing to worry about them running off as they were still within the room), the room change over was managed perfectly so once we returned form our couples photos, taken on the grounds, the party was already underway. Kate was very communicative and tailored the package to suit our wants, even on the morning of the wedding when my husband decided to add elements to the package. The food was amazing. We opted for the melon, chicken dinner and cheesecake for the wedding breakfast and everyone commented on how nice the food was, the chicken was lovely and juicy and flavoured perfectly. We unfortunately missed the evening buffet but have been told how lovely this was too, we did have pizzas the night before and loved the selection available. We were also so fortunate to be one of the first wedding to utilise the 'Bridal Dressing Room' which was available for us from the evening before through to the morning after (I stayed the night before with both bridesmaids, their families and my MIL) meaning we could ensure all the dresses were wedding day ready with plenty of space for us all to get made up and our hair done and it also gave us newly weds a space to quickly freshen up once arriving back from the ceremony prior to checking into the complimentary bridal suite later in the evening. All the staff were so accommodating and welcoming, especially Kate, and we would say, hand on heart, our day could not have been in better hands and honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly or as well anywhere else.

On Saturday 20th July 2024 we had our wedding day at Wennington Hall, myself and Callum were one of the first couples to book when the renovations hadn’t commenced and we were wedding number 2 at Wennington Hall! We had the most amazing day, the venue is stunning and is completed to such a high standard, the decor is beautiful and all our guests were so impressed with the venue it blew them all away! Our wedding coordinator Alicia was brilliant all the way through, there were some questions we didn’t know the answer to as the renovations were still ongoing but we felt at ease throughout the whole process and never had any doubts that the venue wouldn’t look stunning at the end. We had an absolute dream wedding day, the staff working were fantastic and everyone had such a lovely day. The grounds are brilliant for photos inside and outside (weather dependent) and there’s lots of space for guests, the food was amazing and the guests loved it and lots of drink options too. We wish we could do it all over again in this stunning venue! Thanks so much Wennington Hall for giving us our dream wedding day, Colette and Callum x

I cannot fault the shankly hotel in anyway. From the moment we got to the hotel to the moment we left married they took care of us and nothing was too much. Our wedding planners were the upmost professional and so kind. The rooms that we used for our wedding were perfect! Bridal suite, baby Eden, rooms for our guests and my husband and his groomsmen. A massive thank you for myself and my new husband goes to Lauren, Ciara, Maya and Steph. All our guests commented on how amazing the staff were and just how gorgeous the venue was. Food was perfect! Great drinks and fabulous service all round. I would 100000% recommend a wedding at the shankly. We've already booked our 1st anniversary stay here and we only got married 1 month ago! Superb! Thank you guys all our love xxx

We had the best experience with the function team from the start to the big day. Everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication was just what a bride with a million questions needed. The day ran smoothly and all of the staff were amazing. Food was outstanding and we had so many compliments from our guests. The venue is stunning and would highly recommend. A huge thank you to Janette, Tracey and Erin. We couldn’t have asked for more.

I booked the hall, and my experience is that they provided a fantastic service and especially Rafiya who was as absolutely amazing on that evening, was sooo helpful, such a lovely person. She deserves the best, thank you for all you did for my daughters special evening event, had the best evening. I would definitely recommend and would be using the hall again in the future. Thank you

We got married at The Alderley Edge Hotel on 4 May 2024. We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the whole team for making our whole day so special, and a big thank you to Lucy Wade for the planning and organisation; she made it so seamless and stress-free. The team kept us up to date with regular communication. I must have sent a million questions via email before the day and each email was responded to so quickly. The day ran very smoothly, the food was so delicious, every need was met and no ask was too much. A perfect day. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Our wedding was amazing, Natalie was brilliant and there was great communication throughout. The day went exactly as planned and was absolutely stunning. All staff were very professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. A stunning venue with a wonderful team working wonders behind the scenes.

From start to finish the day was amazing. I just didn’t want the day to end, special mention to josh for being amazing
