We discovered St Ermin’s on Hitched while searching for our wedding venue, and from the very first visit, it stood out from the rest. After viewing several other venues — including one that left us with a disappointing experience — our visit to St Ermin’s was a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Claret, the wedding venue coordinator, who immediately made us feel at home. She was exceptionally professional, reassuring, and attentive, and we were able to liaise with her directly throughout the entire process. This gave us enormous confidence and peace of mind. During our first visit, Claret invited us for cocktails while we discussed the wedding details. She walked us through the three stunning spaces we would use on the day: the reception room for cocktails, the Cloisters for dinner, and the Ballroom for the evening party. The cocktails were outstanding, and the overall experience left such a strong impression that we decided to book St Ermin’s for our wedding immediately after that first visit. Everything about St Ermin’s felt convenient, welcoming, and well organised. The hotel is pet-friendly, which meant the world to us — our dog is part of our family, and other venues would not even consider allowing pets. At St Ermin’s, this was never an issue, and it made the experience feel even more special. The organisation throughout the planning process was flawless. We were in regular contact with Claret — weekly, and sometimes even daily as the wedding approached — and she was always responsive, flexible, and accommodating. We also found great flexibility within the wedding package, offering excellent value for the quality provided. We soon discovered the exceptional standard of food and drink at St Ermin’s. From the delicious cocktails made with their homemade gin and rum, to the wonderful afternoon tea we were offered, and the outstanding menu tasting, every experience exceeded our expectations and reinforced that we had made the right choice. On the wedding day itself, everything ran seamlessly. Claret had already coordinated with all of our vendors, making the entire day feel effortless. The staff were incredibly organised, professional, and genuinely kind, and many of our guests commented on the exceptional level of service — something that is increasingly rare to find in London. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and a dream for photography, with stunning backdrops at every turn. Even our photographers commented on how perfect the venue was. The property is immaculately maintained, and at every visit we noticed the care and attention the team puts into keeping it pristine. Our wedding night was just as magical. The hotel room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully prepared, and we were deeply touched by the thoughtful details waiting for us — flowers, cakes, and other small attentions that made the evening feel truly special. St Ermin’s also went above and beyond for my dog, preparing a comfortable bed and treats for him as well, which perfectly reflects the warmth and care of the team. Finally, knowing that St Ermin’s once served as Churchill’s headquarters added an extra layer of charm and history to an already remarkable venue. We cannot recommend St Ermin’s highly enough. The combination of outstanding staff, exceptional service, beautiful spaces, and fair pricing made our wedding truly unforgettable. St Ermin’s now feels like family to us, and we look forward to returning for anniversary drinks and future celebrations. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Shade and the team were wonderful and helped create our wedding in less then 6 weeks due to personal reasons at having one at short notice. Food was lovely, hotel beautiful and staff were impeccable. Thank you so much Chloe and Craig. x

All the staff on the day were amazing at making sure everything run smoothly and made my day amazing. My only criticism was the disorganisation of the events lady who I had most contact with in the lead up to my wedding, changing things last minute that not thought of before or miscommunication which made the planning quite stressful. But all the staff on the day were absolutely brilliant thank you so much!!!!

Our wedding reception was held in the Regency Suite. The service was outstanding! Thank you to everyone who helped make the event happen, from decorating the venue to serving excellent food. The wine that was served was truly delicious! A big thank you to Ms Michaela, who was very helpful from the beginning, when we came to decorate the venue, she was there to lend a helping hand, even though it was difficult to find what we were requesting, she didn't mind helping and gave her best, and when we arrived at the reception she even offered food because my partner and I were so hungry, those small gestures really captured our hearts. We would also like to express our gratitude to the servers for their support, and Ms Julie for checking in on us to see if we were okay. Because of the fantastic people at the Clarendon Hotel, we enjoyed a truly memorable stay!

We had our wedding at Richmond Hill Hotel and it was honestly the best day – the whole team were fantastic, and Pooja in particular was such a great support, incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the process and on the day itself, which made everything feel stress-free. The food was excellent and many of our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it, and the setting is beautiful with perfect spots for photos. Overall, though, the whole experience was fantastic, and we truly loved every moment – we couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend Richmond Hill Hotel to anyone planning their special day.

We had such a fantastic stay at the Richmond Harbour Hotel for our wedding in July 2022. From start to finish the whole team there were so accommodating, professional and personable. The suite was a great size and we managed to get ready there with bride, 3 bridesmaids, mother of bride, photographer, videographer, hair stylist and makeup artist all fit very comfortably in the room. The hotel is modern yet classic, clean and the spa is fabulous. Just be sure to book in advance if you’d like any treatments.

We had our wedding here in October and I cannot emphasise how amazing the entire day was. Being able to have our family and friends stay the hotel as well as having access to the in house catering made everything so much easier to organise, and Amanda and the events team went above and beyond to help make our vision a reality. The additional benefit of a hotel wedding just meant that food, drinks and also serving staff are managed by the hotel which reduced the number of vendors we had to deal with. In addition, the hotel can accomodate both the ceremony, evening reception and cocktail hour on premises so it meant that guests did not have to move around during the day, useful for larger events. We also had a number of guests comment on how delicious the food was - something which we loved during the tasting! Finally, the hotel itself is beautiful - with lots of places to take pictures/couples photos and hopefully the pictures do it justice! The bridal suite and rooms are gorgeous and already looking to see how we can stay there again! I highly reccomend this venue and wish we could do it all again!

Our overall experience of Brown’s has been distinguished by the beautiful spaces the hotel contains, but even more by the thoughtful, generous and considerate service throughout. The food and drinks were incredible, the atmosphere absolutely immaculate.

We had the best day of our lives on the 8th of September and we would like to thank Katya so much for all her help and efforts in making our wedding day so amazing. Katya, Lisa and Henrik were excellent and it was brillant to have everything run so smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole day knowing that you all had everything so well organised. Everyone has commented on the venue, paticularly the food and the gorgeous set up of the George V Hall. The reception was fantastic and everyone had a really great time. Many thanks again for all your hard work.

We got married on the 28th June 2023 and had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Crowne Plaza Docklands. We booked this Hotel as it is on a great location by the Royal Docks riverfront which we felt was the perfect setting for our group and couple photo's. The hotel being in East London was easy for many of our family and friends to get too. From the very beginning we were looked after by Tracy (Director if Sales) of the Hotel. She was brilliant from start to finish. We really trusted her knowledge and expertise and she really did offer us the best wedding package to accommodate all our needs. She asked us all the right questions and also advised us on what would work well for our special day. All the planning was handled so efficiently and professionally by Tracy, from the menu tasting to the running order of the day. She also pointed us in the right direction of decorators to dress up the ceremony and reception rooms. She really did take away that added pressure from us so we could focus on other things for the wedding. When it came to the day itself, it was truly amazing. The ceremony, reception room and the lounge area looked the part. Everything was set up to how we wanted and this was highly praised by all our family and friends. The entire day ran so smoothly and we felt we were really looked after. 'Like Royalty'. The food was delicious and looked as good as when first presented to us during the menu tasting. The service staff were super friendly to all our guests. We had the perfect day and this was all topped off with the beautiful Suite that Tracy booked for us as part of the Package. This room had the perfect scenic views of the docks, Canary Wharf and the London )2. If you are really looking for a good wedding venue in East London the look no further. We really recommend you booking at the Crowne Plaza Docklands. Hospitality at its finest!
