My husband and I had a church wedding in Anglesey followed by a reception at Caer Rhun in August. We were SO impressed by how kind and accommodating the whole staff were. Lisa made the whole planning process so stress-free and fun. The caterers were excellent and so fun to work with. All of our guests LOVED the venue, every detail was so gorgeous. We especially loved the trees and how the marquee could be opened up to feel like we were outside without the stress of weather. My husband and I got stuck in traffic on the way from he church to the reception (this really never happens, it was a total fluke) and were several hours late. The staff at Caer Rhun immediately adjusted our whole plan, making sure that the guests that were already there were so entertained that some of them never noticed! It could have been a real disaster but because the caterers and staff were so on it, it wasn't an issue and now it's just a fun part of our wedding story. We never had to be stressed about it. We loved how the guests could stay on-site so the party didn't have an unnatural ending and everyone could have breakfast together the next morning. Not only was the value for money good but the whole staff just went above and beyond to make our day really special.

Our experience at Future Inns was exceptional from start to finish. Martin and his team went above and beyond in making our day special. From the very first meeting to leaving the day after our wedding. We chose Future Inns because of the flexibility in the number of guests we could book. We only wanted a small day celebration with a larger evening party. There were no minimum guests or special requirements, anything we requested was supported. The team set up all of my handmade decorations beautifully and I felt so relaxed. On the day us and our guests were treated like royalty and every single thing went to time and plan. We cannot thank the team enough for everything they did. A special thank you to Nolito, exceptional service and looked after us all. His professionalism kept everyone and everything running to plan.

Got married here on the 27th of July 2024. Yvonne and the events team made the planning process so effortless and simple, could not thank them more. Communication throughout the planning process was consistent and any updates or changes were immediately added to the function sheet. Literally nothing was a problem for these guys. The day was run so smoothly and that was all down to the staff on the day! All of who went above and beyond with some even taking on baby sitting duties for nieces and nephews throughout the day, keeping them occupied/entertained with colouring etc. Everyone was catered for to the letter, even ordering Irn Bru for a fussy wedding guest (brides nana). The venue is absolutely stunning, really friendly team who made everything leading up to the day stress free and the actual day run smoothly. Venue, professionalism, and food were all even better than we could’ve hoped for. A very special mention to Sophie who really made the process and the day extra special, our day wouldn’t have been the same without her - what a star!

We married in the Heronston on 21st Jan 2005. Not only did we have our ceremony there, but our reception too. It was the most amazing day and all the staff did a fantastic job, particularly Nicola, who coped so well with my little panicky moments !!!! The venue is brilliant value and we had an amazing day !

We got married at St Pierre on 02/04/2026, it was literally the wedding on our dreams, it was perfect from start to finish, the venue is absolutely stunning and all the staff there are absolutely amazing, we haven’t stopped talking about how lush and helpful all the staff were, they all made the whole experience so much better, they can’t do enough for you, Charlotte smith the wedding coordinator was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. She made sure everything was perfect and did everything she possibly could to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Anything we asked and any changes nothing was a problem she just made it happen, She was always on hand to answer any questions and queries and made the whole day and whole experience leading up to it so enjoyable and seem less, I really can’t recommend Charlotte and St Pierre enough

To the whole team, We would like to say a huge Thank You for our perfect summer wedding. The De Courcey’s team guided and supported us throughout our planning and went the extra mile to help with all our wacky ideas of modified cars, shots cart and a tattoo station nothing was questionable. Lewis, Abbey, Rachel and Lucy what a fantastic team you are and made us feel right at home from the day we walked in. We loved every moment of our special day and now im gutted its all over! All our guests were impressed by the gorgeous setting, delicious food and how helpful the staff were from the point of arrival to leaving the next day! We recently celebrated our wedding at The Cliff Hotel & Spa, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. One of our guests even described it as “a Hollywood wedding”, which was such a lovely compliment and truly captured how magical the whole day felt🙂 First and foremost, we would like to give a very special thank you to our wedding coordinator, Amity, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. From our very first meeting to the final moments of the day, she was organised, supportive, calm, and incredibly reassuring. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we are so grateful for the hard work, and genuine care she put into making our wedding day run so smoothly. A huge thank you also goes to Chef Emyr and the catering team. The wedding breakfast was exceptional from start to finish. So many of our guests commented on the quality, presentation, and flavour of every course, and it was clear that a great deal of thought and skill had gone into the menu. The staff throughout the hotel were also outstanding. Every member of the team we encountered was warm, friendly, and professional, and they went out of their way to make both us and our guests feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. From the bar staff and waiting team to reception and housekeeping, everyone contributed to the relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Many of our guests commented on how attentive and accommodating the staff were, which made the day feel even more special. We would also like to thank the owners, Louise and Wells, for creating such a beautiful and welcoming venue. It was clear throughout our stay how much care and pride they take in the hotel and in ensuring couples have the best possible experience. Their warm hospitality and personal touch helped make our wedding feel even more special, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they have created at The Cliff Hotel & Spa. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The breathtaking coastal views provided the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and photographs, while the hotel had a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere throughout the day. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and beautifully presented. It was wonderful for us and our guests to be able to stay on site and continue the celebrations without having to travel afterwards. We reserved 30 rooms for our large family, and having everyone together in one place was a major factor in choosing this venue. It made the entire experience even more special and memorable. We would highly recommend turning your wedding into a long weekend if you can. Staying at the hotel for a few extra days gave us precious time with our immediate family that we wouldn’t otherwise have had. We enjoyed walking along the cliff-top footpath, having food and drinks at The Flat Rock, and simply relaxing together while chatting about the wedding day and all the wonderful memories we had made. Thank you again to everyone at The Cliff Hotel & Spa for giving us a day that exceeded all of our expectations. Five-Star Wedding Experience – Outstanding Care, Organisation & Love I just have to say, if you are looking for a wedding venue — day, night, or both — and are feeling worried or anxious (as most brides are), please trust me when I say that from the moment we decided to book our wedding at the Village Hotel Cardiff, the love and care we received was second to none. The communication between the coordinator and ourselves was so on point. Every conversation was written down in detail and emailed back to me for checking. A few weeks after booking, we changed our minds from having a full wedding to just a party. My dream had always been Gretna, for the romance and historic tales, and once my partner said, “Well why aren’t we doing that?”, it suddenly made sense. We realised we could still have our evening do at the Village. All of our requests were accommodated — the wedding coordinator, Sue, didn’t miss a thing. We were going to Gretna Green for our ceremony alone and decided we still wanted our party here, but we didn’t just want it to be a party. We wanted our guests to feel like they were part of our wedding — like a reception three weeks later. We still wanted our first dance, speeches, and I still wanted my dad to walk me in and give me away to my husband John, even though we had already married privately with two witnesses in Scotland three weeks before. We wondered with anticipation: could the hotel set the scene, pull off the emotional atmosphere, and give our guests the feeling that they were attending our actual wedding day — minus the vows? On the day itself, from the moment we arrived, Sue was by both my side and John’s side. How is that possible? That woman is a superhero in a suit. John and I still stayed separate (even though he had already seen my dress), and somehow Sue made it all work. She was right there whenever I needed her. I spent the afternoon with my three daughters in a room where we could relax, have a drink, chat, and take our time getting ready. Sue had communicated so clearly with both of us that we always knew what the next step was. Just knowing she was nearby brought so much comfort and reassurance. We also met Kieron, Sue’s assistant, on our wedding day — and he was phenomenal. He got straight into it, made a few suggestions that I could instantly see would work better due to small changes I’d wanted to make on the day, and then carried out his duties with such calmness and excitement. This guy absolutely loves his job. Everything was overseen and approved by Sue — the calmest yet most organised person I know. I was truly in the safest hands. These two together were dynamite. The confidence they both oozed reassured me that everything was going to plan, smoothly and perfectly, and allowed me to fully enjoy my personal time with my grown-up daughters, making memories in the moment. While waiting for the doors to open, my entrance song to start, and my dad to stand by my side, Sue said, “I’ve got you some tissues.” I replied, “It’s fine, Sue — thanks to you and Kieron I’m actually surprisingly relaxed and not feeling emotional.” John had also text me to say he was doing great and couldn’t wait to see me and get dancing. Sue and Kieron gathered everyone and kindly seated our guests. Then my music started. I looked at Sue and said, “I think I’m going to need that tissue.” She was right there by my side, ready ❤️ As I walked in and saw our families, all those beautiful, emotional, nervous feelings I’d had at our actual wedding three weeks earlier came flooding back tenfold. I looked at all the happy, smiling, crying faces and then found John’s — and I was a mess. My dad walked me to him along a red carpet, proud and tall. I felt like a princess all over again. Wow. That moment — and every moment after — was epic. We embraced, full of tears, kissed, and looked around the room as our families and friends cheered and clapped. We moved straight onto the dance floor for our first dance to “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole. The DJ then encouraged everyone to join us. We hugged, danced, and celebrated with our loved ones — it was incredible and far more emotional than I ever expected. Sue then handed the reins over to Kieron to see us through the evening. He did quick checks to ensure guests were seated correctly, especially those with dietary requirements. He made sure they were served first at the buffet, just as I had requested — and everything was perfectly in place. The buffet was incredible — we didn’t even notice it had come into the room. The presentation was beautiful, and everything that was meant to be hot was hot. Guests commented on how delicious the food was and how well it catered for everyone, especially those with dietary requirements. It was exactly what we had hoped for and more. We danced our feet off, and let me tell you — that sparkle dance floor certainly helped. Book it! The DJ took requests from everyone and very quickly sussed out our music taste. He read the room perfectly. Whenever we needed a breather, he’d smash out another hit that pulled us right back onto the dance floor. It was never empty. He was absolutely brilliant — smiling, laughing, and clearly loving every second. The coordinators also allowed me to set up my own activities table for the children. They had an amazing time gluing, glittering, sticking, cutting, crafting pictures, eating sweets, and making happy messes — while the parents relaxed. They also loved the sparkle dance floor! Every moment was timed perfectly: the short speeches, first dance, mother-and-son dance, flowers for the grandparents, and a poem my mum wrote which a friend read aloud about John and me. It was emotional, fun, and unforgettable. We danced, ate, laughed, and celebrated all night. Eventually, Kieron hugged us goodbye and left. I felt so proud of the work Sue and Kieron had done. Their communication, organisation, and attention to detail were flawless — not a single hiccup. The DJ was still smiling, playing our favourite songs, and the atmosphere was electric. It truly felt like we had married in Gretna and flown straight here for our reception — with everyone included. I also want to thank the hotel reception staff, who were so welcoming as our guests arrived and checked in. They were friendly, chatty, and smiling — and it made such a difference. The kitchen staff prepared a beautiful buffet, and everything that was meant to be hot was hot. The presentation was perfect. We left the reception room while guests were still dancing and the DJ was still smiling, and headed to our room completely overwhelmed with happiness. The next morning, all our belongings had been neatly placed in the room we’d used to get ready. I hadn’t even realised I’d left my shoes behind — everything was safe and cared for while we slept. Knowing the team were still working through the night to look after us honestly melts my heart. To the Village Hotel manager: you truly have qthe dream team. Every single member of staff went above and beyond — reception, coordinators, bar staff, kitchen staff, cleaners, security, and DJ. They never stopped smiling. I hope you are incredibly proud of each and every one of them, and that you appreciate them as much as John and I do. Heaven truly sent us the dream team — so please don’t change a thing. I cannot praise the Holiday Inn enough for how they organised and hosted our special day. From the first meeting until the time, we left the day after our wedding, they could not have been more helpful and attentive. Every little detail was thought of, from the big things like timings, setting up, making sure we liked everything before the guests came in, setting up a room to get ready in just so we had more room for hair and make-up, to even having someone ready to pull out my chair so my dress fell right when we ate. Everything was absolutely stunning. They got every detail spot on and the staff we absolutely fantastic. We had photos outside by the trees and they were just stunning. Such a lovely background for it. The rooms are big and spacious, the tables were decorated beautifully, the flowers were gorgeous and the DJ was fantastic and did all the lighting to match the theme. And all this was included with my package. I cannot recommend them enough. It was beautiful. Thank you Holiday Inn, and special thank you to Jenny who organised everything beforehand and Craig, the events manager who was just brilliant and couldn't do enough for us on the day
