First of all, I can’t put into words how stunning the venue is. Beautiful scenic historical building, with original features. The staff were more than accommodating, welcoming and warm. Myself and my husband were treated amazingly. Becky really took the reins and provided us with the most amazing service and Megan couldn’t help us enough throughout the process. Big big thanks to all the staff at Owston, you made our dreams a reality 🩷

I cannot recommend Lauren, Evie and John enough!! Lauren sorted out absolutely everything I asked for even down to constructing my wedding cake with Evie!! She went over and above for us, nothing was too much hassle. I cannot recommend them enough. I had a very specific themes and vibe, Lauren just understood the brief and made sure I had everything I needed. She was calm and professional the whole way through, whilst also making sure that the littlest detail was perfect. We were allowed to set up the night before which made the day run so smoothly. John and Andrew attended to the guests and made sure I was never without a drink. The food was amazing, honestly it was so so so perfect. I dreamt of my wedding day, as most people do, I was exactly how I imagined thanks to the incredible staff. Thank you so so much Lauren and the team ❤️💜🧡

I would 100% recommend humberveiw for any special event. It has the room, the veiw, the service the good food. Its everything in one.

From the start the communication was great, we had to postpone twice due to Covid-19 and the team at The Village were so accommodating. We were able to make small tweaks to our packages such as swapping items in the buffet etc at no extra cost and the attention to detail was great. Roxana was a brilliant co-ordinator, considering she 'inherited' our wedding which had been through 2 colleagues previously over the years she went through everything with fine tooth comb and it was excellent. On the day Rob hosted our wedding brilliantly, nothing was too much trouble and he even helped me and my husband up to our room at the end of the night with all our cards and gifts which was a nice touch. I would 100% recommend The Village North Leeds for a wedding.

Absolutely hands down the best place to get married if you want things to go smoothly. Ling and Katie were our wedding coordinators and words dont do justice to just how amazing they both are. They were both just as excited about our wedding as we were. Nothing was too much and they went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. We had an ocean themed wedding and I was worried maybe there was too much we wanted around the room, but we had nothing to worry about. Ling and Katie was more then happy to do that for us and even came up with some better ideas for placements. I cant describe enough just how amazing these woman are. It was so easy, so relaxing, we had no worries what so ever because we knew we could trust them to make our day amazing The communication was outstanding. Always replied within an hour, she also contacted me to double check on details to make sure everything was correct. The food... the food!! The chef was amazing, especially at the taster, he came out and went through everything with us to make sure we was 100% happy. I will be the first to admit, when seeing the little greenery outside I was a little worried about photos but honestly the photos came out perfect, its surprising how amazing it can look with all your family and friends there. And if your photographer and if time allows, you can always go over to little Swiss like we did and get more photos there, its 5 mins up the road and you can have the best photos of you and your partner there. The rooms are also very nice, and if the room is too small for you to get ready in, they can offer you a conference room for you and your bridal party to get ready in. I would definitely recommend the village hotel in hull. Best experience of our life and we get excited when ever we are driving past and still nip in to say hi to them all :)

Fabulous Victorian hotel close to likely moor. Wedding breakfast was best large scale meal ever - excellent! Hotel is lovely and friendly. Rooms are constantly being updated and should be done soon from what we hear, but still very good rooms anyway. They did us proud hosting our wedding.

We had the best wedding day we could have imagined! The food was amazing, everything ran seamlessly to time, and the service was spot on from start to finish - all surrounded by so much love and laughter. Tyran, our wedding manager, was quick to respond and full of helpful ideas, an absolute wedding expert. He was flexible on meeting times as well which was extremely helpful for us and work schedules. Mackenzie, the operations manager, kept the day flowing with such grace and humour, always there when needed but never intrusive, he felt like part of the family by the end of the night. Big thanks also to Ed and Sarah behind the bar, who brought so much fun and energy, and to the housekeeping team who went above and beyond moving the bridal party’s chaos from our prep lodge into the honeymoon suite so it was all ready for us. The venue itself is perfect for a more intimate wedding - nestled in beautiful woodland with speckled light, reflections across the lake, and just seconds from the breathtaking Yorkshire views of Surprise Point. The photo opportunities are endless, and the setting feels both magical and personal. We’re so glad we chose local, not only for the wonderful service but also so we can come back and relive the memories. The complimentary spa access for wedding couples the month before the day was an amazing bonus, giving us time to relax together in the run-up which can be a pretty stressful time. We cannot recommend the Chevin Hotel and Spa enough - they didn’t just host our day, they were part of what made it so special. Thank you and lots of love The Reeses 🧡

Since booking our wedding with Jemma last year to our actual wedding day we can honestly not praise her, Imogen and the whole hotel enough. The whole wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and all the hotel staff were absolutely fantastic, a special mention to Colin who literally treated us like royalty the whole weekend, he went above and beyond for us and our guests. All our guests who travelled passed comment on how nice the hotel was, how amazing the food in the restaurant was and how amazing all the staff were! Our actual wedding went off without a hitch, the whole day ran so smoothly and honestly was just amazing. The food was fantastic, both at the meal and even buffet, all our guests passed comment on how nice it was! The staff couldn’t have been more helpful on the day and kept everything flowing throughout the whole day right to the very end of the night, Can’t thank them enough as we literally just turned up and everything was done so we just enjoyed the day with our family and friends. We’d booked the hotel dj for our evening and WOW, he read the room so well and our dance floor was never empty! It really was the rave we wanted! Honestly it was a day we will never forget! We decided to stay an extra night on the Sunday and we spent the day in the spa and again couldn’t fault it! The treatments were amazing, the facilities were excellent and the manager couldn’t do enough for us. The whole experience from start to finish was 10/10 and we can’t thank Jemma, Imogen and the team enough for making our day/weekend so special. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Please please consider this venue for your wedding as you won’t be disappointed!

We had an amazing day the weather was fabulous. Everything couldn’t have been more perfect from the venue to Marissa and Curtis who were amazing from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for more they truly went above and beyond. Would recommend all day long.

We had our wedding in November and I can’t stress enough how wonderful the staff were from start to finish and to see our dreams come to reality was just amazing thank you to Sarah that was with us all the way through and helped so much on the day she really went above and beyond thank you so much.
