We couldn’t be happier with our choice of wedding venue – it was everything we hoped for and more. The location was absolutely beautiful, with stunning options for the ceremony that gave us the flexibility to make the day truly our own.

From start to finish, the communication was clear, professional, and reassuring. Every member of staff we interacted with was amazing – friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our day special.
A huge shoutout to our wedding coordinator, Eibhlin, who was simply incredible. She was calm, organised, and so supportive throughout the entire process. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made everything feel effortless on the day.

The food was another standout – not only was it absolutely delicious, but the portions were also really generous. Our guests are still talking about how good it was!
Overall, we felt the venue offered outstanding value for money, and the service we received exceeded all expectations. We’re so grateful to the entire team for helping create a day we’ll never forget.

From the very first meeting with Philippa we were made so feel so welcome and comfortable at the venue. It was made entirely clear that our wedding was just as important to their team as it was to us and that no effort would spared in ensuring that we had the day of our dreams.
Our wedding coordinator Charlotte was an absolute angel and deserves the highest praise known to man for the sheer enthusiasm and fun she brought to both our planning and to the day itself. She is a massive credit to the venue and we really could not have asked for a more attentive, thoughtful, clever, creative kind and charismatic coordinator.
The best wedding hype girl ever, we absolutely believe that if every event had a Charlotte to plan it, there would only ever be perfect parties!
Everyone from the bar staff to the table waiters were so lovely and the chef is incredible! it really takes a lot of skill and talent to create meals that everyone loves and raves about; every single one of our guests was thrilled with what they ate and was highly complimentary!
Massive thanks to the wonderful Beth who took over from Charlotte when our evening reception began, she was so attentive and kind, we really appreciate how professional and thoughtful she was, especially with keeping us on track for the evening and securing us chicken nuggets!
We literally would not have changed a single thing about our day or the support we received from Hackness Grange in the planning process. The communication was fantastic all the way along, we loved that we were able to come up for a testing menu prior to choosing our wedding breakfast, everything has been an absolute dream.

I can’t recommend this venue enough. They were absolute amazing, from our arrival early afternoon the day before the wedding, till leaving the venue after. The venue is beautiful, with the bridge over to the island on the lake, where the wedding took place. Every account to detail my son & daughter-in-law requested were carried out. The food was exceptionally, with every one of our guest expressing how wonderful the food, wedding venue, room and service was. If you are looking for your ideal/perfect wedding, I would certainly recommend Hackness Grange, in North Yorkshire.

Hackness Grange is the most picture perfect wedding venue, where we had our dream wedding. This venue has to be seen to be believed, the island was a stunning backdrop to our ceremony and all of the grounds and house make for some amazing photos. One of our guests commented that this was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to, and we wholeheartedly agree. The staff are absolutely amazing and if you have a choice of wedding coordinators pick Eibhlin, who is absolutely superb! The whole staff team worked tirelessly to make sure our day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and knowing all the detail was being taken care of meant we could completely relax and enjoy the day. The food was delicious and the accommodation (with no minimum number of bedrooms needing to be booked - which is rare!) was also top notch. Having looked at several venues we are so pleased we went with this venue. Although it wasn’t the cheapest, it was definitely excellent value for money. We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you Hackness Grange for the most amazing day, which far exceeded our expectations! ❤️

From the very first minute we drove up to hackness we knew it was our dream venue and everything from then just was above and beyond what we could’ve expected! From the food tasting to the planning and prepping, Elle was always on hand over phone and email whenever we needed and then on the day made sure everything ran smoothly and was just as we wanted! It was simply the best day and couldn’t fault it and the whole venue speaks for itself on how amazing it is and the views and scenery! On to of that the food was AMAZING and went down a hit with the guests who are still talking about it a week later! Hackness grange was the most perfect venue!

It sounds cliche but we simply had the most perfect day. From beginning to end, the wedding co-ordinators and all other members of staff were so accommodating and just overall amazing. Eibhlin was a god-send, honestly such a credit to Hackness Grange. They’re lucky to have her! Everything went smoothly and the whole day felt so special! And oh my goodness…the food was to die for! And it just kept coming! Definitely no hungry tummy’s. Overall, the best day of our lives and we wish we could relive it all over again❤️

From the moment we arrived to the final goodbye, our wedding day at Hackness Grange was nothing short of magical. Every single detail was perfect – even the rain couldn’t dampen the beauty or the atmosphere. Everything I had envisioned in my fairytale day came to life right before my eyes, and that is truly thanks to the incredible team at Hackness Grange and the trusted suppliers they recommended.

We’ve had so many guests tell us it was the most gorgeous venue they’ve ever been to and, in their words, “the best wedding they’ve attended.” That’s down to the dedication, organisation, and warmth of everyone behind the scenes.

A very special thank you goes to Elle. I sent countless emails filled with bullet points, questions, and last-minute thoughts – and poor Elle had to deal with them all! But she was always so helpful, responsive, and kind throughout. For someone so young, it’s clear that weddings are her calling. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and felt personal to us.

Hackness Grange was the first venue we visited but after walking around the manor & grounds, there was no doubt in our minds that this was our venue. We fell in love with it! The reception staff were helpful for getting rooms booked for our guests & the wedding team were amazing. We dealt with Charlotte originally then Elle was introduced as our wedding coordinator, both were massively helpful with helping us navigate what we needed to do, for answering our many questions & just both generally being amazing women. We got on great with them both which really helped to trust that our wedding was in safe hands. The whole day went perfectly & we couldn't have asked for more than that.

Our day at hackness grange was perfect! The venue is just breathtaking, we had so many comments from guests about the house and the surroundings!
We booked our day with Philippa who was the most lovely and professional person! She knew answers to everything we needed to know and was there on hand to answer any questions!
I would say the only comments we have on the day were a couple of things weren’t quite as they should be and for us we would have appreciated a follow up call after the wedding to check how things were and just a small courtesy call in regards to this. This does not take away from the overall day but would have made a massive difference to us as a couple.

Where do we even begin with Hackness Grange? Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect, and that’s in huge part thanks to the stunning venue and the incredible team — especially Charlotte, our absolute superstar wedding coordinator.

Charlotte went so far above and beyond anything we could have expected. From bringing us glasses of water when we were too distracted to remember to hydrate, to checking in constantly to make sure we were okay, she was there every step of the way. She supported us through the whole planning process — even when we had to change our wedding date last year — and made everything feel calm, organised, and doable. Honestly, she felt more like a best friend than a coordinator.

The venue itself is breathtaking — beautiful grounds, elegant spaces, and that honeymoon suite... let’s just say, the bath alone deserves its own round of applause! Total luxury.

And the food. Wow. Our guests are still talking about how incredible it was — from the canapés to the main course, everything was absolutely delicious and perfectly presented. People went back for second helpings (and maybe even thirds).

We had our special day here in March and all we can say is WOW! The venue is stunning, the food was gorgeous and the staff were amazing! Special mention to Nadine who made everything so personal and special. Would 100% recommend Hackness Grange to anyone.
