We cannot recommend Hackness Grange enough! From the very moment we booked, the whole experience has been an absolute joy. Eibhlin, our wedding coordinator, was simply incredible – nothing was ever too much trouble. From late-night emails with ‘silly’ questions to letting us set up tables just to see how everything would look, she made us feel supported, relaxed, and part of the process every step of the way. Honestly, she was a huge part of why our day was so perfect.

The service on the day was flawless – everyone went above and beyond, and we had countless compliments on the food and the warm, smiley staff. On the morning, the team helped us with all the little details as we were doing a lot ourselves, making sure everything ran smoothly. Even when my husband’s brother surprised us by flying in from Australia that morning, they handled it seamlessly without us even having to worry.

From start to finish, the whole team made us feel cared for, calm, and celebrated. Every moment felt magical, and we truly cannot thank them enough. We will cherish these memories forever – it was, without a doubt, the best day of our lives!

From the start, I didn’t think we’d have a chance getting married at Hackness due to our small guests numbers and budget, yet they couldn’t have been more accommodating by making us a personalized package for our wedding and it was the most amazing day of my life.

They took care of everything I asked, even little things that really weren’t their responsibility yet they helped and did it anyway.

Very efficient, lovely food and perfect venue. The staff were brilliant given we only booked the wedding 3.5 months before the big day. They went above and beyond to help us set up and organise. The grounds were extremely well kept as well as the building which was clean and presentable. All our guests commented on how lovely the wedding was and how great the food was too.

This was the most beautiful place we could have envisioned for our special day. Wonderful atmosphere, incredible staff. Would recommend 11/10

From the very first meeting with Philippa we were made so feel so welcome and comfortable at the venue. It was made entirely clear that our wedding was just as important to their team as it was to us and that no effort would spared in ensuring that we had the day of our dreams.
Our wedding coordinator Charlotte was an absolute angel and deserves the highest praise known to man for the sheer enthusiasm and fun she brought to both our planning and to the day itself. She is a massive credit to the venue and we really could not have asked for a more attentive, thoughtful, clever, creative kind and charismatic coordinator.
The best wedding hype girl ever, we absolutely believe that if every event had a Charlotte to plan it, there would only ever be perfect parties!
Everyone from the bar staff to the table waiters were so lovely and the chef is incredible! it really takes a lot of skill and talent to create meals that everyone loves and raves about; every single one of our guests was thrilled with what they ate and was highly complimentary!
Massive thanks to the wonderful Beth who took over from Charlotte when our evening reception began, she was so attentive and kind, we really appreciate how professional and thoughtful she was, especially with keeping us on track for the evening and securing us chicken nuggets!
We literally would not have changed a single thing about our day or the support we received from Hackness Grange in the planning process. The communication was fantastic all the way along, we loved that we were able to come up for a testing menu prior to choosing our wedding breakfast, everything has been an absolute dream.

I can’t recommend this venue enough. They were absolute amazing, from our arrival early afternoon the day before the wedding, till leaving the venue after. The venue is beautiful, with the bridge over to the island on the lake, where the wedding took place. Every account to detail my son & daughter-in-law requested were carried out. The food was exceptionally, with every one of our guest expressing how wonderful the food, wedding venue, room and service was. If you are looking for your ideal/perfect wedding, I would certainly recommend Hackness Grange, in North Yorkshire.

Hackness Grange is the most picture perfect wedding venue, where we had our dream wedding. This venue has to be seen to be believed, the island was a stunning backdrop to our ceremony and all of the grounds and house make for some amazing photos. One of our guests commented that this was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to, and we wholeheartedly agree. The staff are absolutely amazing and if you have a choice of wedding coordinators pick Eibhlin, who is absolutely superb! The whole staff team worked tirelessly to make sure our day ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble and knowing all the detail was being taken care of meant we could completely relax and enjoy the day. The food was delicious and the accommodation (with no minimum number of bedrooms needing to be booked - which is rare!) was also top notch. Having looked at several venues we are so pleased we went with this venue. Although it wasn’t the cheapest, it was definitely excellent value for money. We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you Hackness Grange for the most amazing day, which far exceeded our expectations! ❤️

From the very first minute we drove up to hackness we knew it was our dream venue and everything from then just was above and beyond what we could’ve expected! From the food tasting to the planning and prepping, Elle was always on hand over phone and email whenever we needed and then on the day made sure everything ran smoothly and was just as we wanted! It was simply the best day and couldn’t fault it and the whole venue speaks for itself on how amazing it is and the views and scenery! On to of that the food was AMAZING and went down a hit with the guests who are still talking about it a week later! Hackness grange was the most perfect venue!

It sounds cliche but we simply had the most perfect day. From beginning to end, the wedding co-ordinators and all other members of staff were so accommodating and just overall amazing. Eibhlin was a god-send, honestly such a credit to Hackness Grange. They’re lucky to have her! Everything went smoothly and the whole day felt so special! And oh my goodness…the food was to die for! And it just kept coming! Definitely no hungry tummy’s. Overall, the best day of our lives and we wish we could relive it all over again❤️

From the moment we arrived to the final goodbye, our wedding day at Hackness Grange was nothing short of magical. A very special thank you goes to Elle. I sent countless emails filled with bullet points, questions, and last-minute thoughts – and poor Elle had to deal with them all! But she was always so helpful, responsive, and kind throughout. For someone so young, it’s clear that weddings are her calling. Nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and felt personal to us.
