Wedding Venues in Scotland

My husband and I were married at Thirlestane Castle this past June. We first discovered Thirlestane Castle online and instantly contacted them to see what it would entail for an international couple to be married there. I quickly heard back from Rhona and worked with her over the months to create the best wedding day and venue we could have imagined. We stayed in the Lauderdale Apartment at the castle for our wedding and it was an exceptional place for us to get ready at, and enjoy our time after our wedding. Rhona made our day so easy and smooth and took care of absolutely everything. I highly recommend Thirlestane Castle for your wedding day to be absolutely perfect!

My husband and I got married at the Fenwick Hotel back in July and our day was nothing short of perfect. As soon as we met with Chloe, we felt so at ease. She helped us through every step of the planning process. Our day ran so smoothly from the very start, the meal was amazing and bar staff were also fantastic. All of our guests have complimented on how perfect the day was and the Fenwick Hotel will always be a special place that my husband and I will continue to visit. Chloe is a credit to the hotel and we can’t thank her enough for making our day so special. 🤍🤍🤍

I cannot emphasise enough how much we loved getting married at Murthly Castle! Thomas and Callum were both incredibly accommodating for all our needs and helped make our special day even more special. They even took care of the tiniest little details (like raking the gravel and clearing the leaves), things we might not even have noticed but just made everything all the more perfect. Literally every single guest told us how beautiful the chapel, house and gardens were, and we can't help but agree. We went to visit in the rain and loved it; our wedding day was sunny and we loved it. The house is incredibly beautiful inside and out. The chapel is truly special. We had the most wonderful day at Murthly Castle and we were honestly a bit sad having to leave. It's such a special place, such great value for money and you honestly could not choose a better wedding venue.

Our wedding at Atholl Palace was an absolute dream come true! Every detail was perfect, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. A special thank-you to Catherine — you were truly amazing! From the very first meeting to the last dance, you made everything run so smoothly. Your organization, kindness, and calm energy let us truly relax and enjoy every moment. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or team to celebrate our wedding!

What a privilege to have been one of the first couples to get married at Barns Walled Garden! The venue is absolutely stunning. We both knew as soon as we walked in that this was going to be the perfect place for our wedding. We had a lovely outdoor ceremony surrounded by nature and beautiful, tall trees and smaller fruit trees. The walls have such character, the backdrop is stunning for photos! The even larger garden surrounding the walled garden is just an extension of the beauty and, again, a lovely spot for photographs. We even had our group photo on the landscape sculpture within the garden, which has different levels and is the perfect spot for getting all the guests in one shot. The marquee itself is super spacious. We fit over 100 people in there comfortably and we didn't have to move anything to make room for the dance floor. We even had a large lounge area where people could sit and relax. As night fell, the lighting both inside the marquee and out in the garden just made it look so magical. Even the toilets are super nice! With big mirrors and lots of room. We stayed on site at Barns Bothy, making the day even more stress free as I didn't have to worry about getting to the venue, I simply had to walk through the garden and I was there. Family also stayed next door, at Barns Library. Both cottages are beautifully decorated and comfortable, and just so convenient. Now, this is all well and good but none of it would have been possible without Rachel and the team being there every step of the way. They've been running events at Neidpath Castle for years and the experience shows. Rachel was so accessible and always ready with suggestions, ideas and problem solving! We felt we were in safe hands from the start and we are so grateful to Rachel for making the day a success. She was there on the day making sure it all went off without a hitch! We had the perfect day and we are so grateful to everyone involved. We feel so lucky to have found this venue! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ would 100% recommend!

We so glad we went to see this venue at one of their open days. From meeting Samantha (the wedding coordinator) to the reception staff our first experience was great. The venue was dressed lovely with suppliers there to see and chat to. We booked in 2022 and fell in love so we married there in August of 2024. Every question and worry were answered quickly and my mind was eased at anything. On my wedding day Rafael and Keith looked after us and they were amazing from morning to night. The food was excellent and everything included in the package was worth every penny, with beautiful gardens for our pictures as well and as a bonus its dog friendly. If I could do it all again the way it was done I’d jump at the chance.

Our wedding day was great. The package deal suited our budget and was easily adapted to add anything extra we could want. Danielle the coordinator, was on top of everything from the day we booked our date. Checking in periodically and keeping everything moving along. We chose most of the vendors from a wedding fayre that the hotel had hosted. Everyone had such a great day and night. Many guests commented on how friendly and helpful the staff were.

We got married in Teasses in July 2024. We could not have asked for a more beautiful spot for a wedding. The gardens and greenhouse are stunning, and the marquee had a wonderful ambience for both the meal and the disco in the evening. In the runup to the wedding, the coordinator (Joanne) was very helpful and responsive in dealing with our many many queries and concerns. Then, on the day itself, she was on hand and made sure everything went very smoothly.
