Myself and my husband got married at Kinmount House in May and I genuinely could not have chosen a more amazing team and venue for our celebrations.

During the initial planning and queries, nothing was too much trouble and Lauren went out of her way to make every single request possible and to make our day as “us” as it could possibly be. We are very picky eaters and also pescatarians and Lauren worked with the chef to create a perfect wedding breakfast menu, canapé list and food truck menu.

The venue itself is nothing short of spectacular, there are so many beautiful parts of the ground you are spoilt for choice. From the victorian bathing house, to the woodland area, to the house itself. This was the first venue we saw in person and we knew right there in that moment it was the place we were going to get married.

From the first day we spoke to Kinmount House we felt like our day was so important to them which is exactly what you want from a venue. For a big venue, they honestly make you feel like a part of the family from the outset.
Planning a wedding can be incredibly daunting and emotional but every time I got off the phone from Lauren I felt stress-free, calm and excited about my wedding day.

We arrived the day before the wedding and had a pre-wedding event at the croft. We travelled up from Berkshire to get married in Annan and brought all our decor with us, we were really running out of time but the team at Kinmount helped us with every detail.

It was due to rain 95% of the day for our wedding which we were really disappointed about but both Lauren and Mark sat down with us to make alternative plans for some of the activities we had planned for the wedding day which really helped turn things around.


I really have to call out Mark as well as Lauren, who was such a godsend to us on the day. Mark was there at every single moment, making sure we were on track, that we had everything we needed and the most important thing, to calm our nerves on the day. He was a massive part of making our day the success that it was. He even went as far as getting my sister slippers when her feet hurt and bringing us up one of the gorgeous dogs they have living at kinmount house for cuddles in the morning the day after the wedding. Not only this but he also took some candid shots of us on the day, something I didnt even think about but was so wonderful to have some immediate footage for the day whilst we waited for our professional footage and photos to come back.

Mark and Lauren are such a credit to the team at Kinmount House and I just want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts, I will honestly treasure this day and look back with so much love. You made our day so perfect and I am just sad we wont get to see you guys again!

Not enough people know about this venue, it is such a hidden gem and if you are thinking about this venue for your wedding, do not hesitate! You will fall in love. I really wish I could do it all over again.

Choosing to get married at Kinmount House is one of the best decisions could have made for our day. From our first visit we were sold on everything about the venue. Having a package to work from gave us piece of mind regarding price and arrangements for the day.

All of the staff we worked with in planning for the day were fantastic in helping us illustrate our plans. Everyone was hugely supportive and very professional which assured us that we had made the right decision.

Being able to set up for the day and stay on site was of huge benefit as it took stress out of the wedding day itself. The cottages were perfectly kept and organised, all of our guests were very pleased with the space and luxury of the cottages.

The day itself ran like clockwork thanks to the amazing staff at Kinmount House. The timeline was expertly followed and communicated to us so that we could relax in our own wedding preparations. Everyone was on the exact same page and it felt perfectly coordinated.

All of our guests remarked on how beautiful the House was, how it was excellently maintained and how much of a hidden gem we had come across. The expansive grounds and organisation of the day meant that it felt continuous and considerate, without feeling rushed at any point. From the start of the wedding until the last guests left, it ran seamlessly.

We are so grateful for everyone we've had the pleasure of working with at Kinmount House. In the lead up to the wedding Lauren and Justine were a fantastic help, special mention to Scott, Erin, David and Yasmin for all of their hard work and coordination on the day. Their work was exceptional and they made sure to keep us looked after as well as all of our guests. They tended to us with a special care and consideration that made our day perfect. We would recommend to anyone to visit Kinmount House when they have the opportunity and feel privileged that we were able to start the rest of our lives there.

We could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out. Everyone that worked behind the scenes to help us create our perfect day could not have been more helpful. Every question we had, or individual need, no matter how big, they went out of their way to make it happen. The grounds, accommodation, food and hospitality went beyond our expectations and we cannot recommend Kinmount House enough.

We had our wedding at Kinmount House on the 23rd July this year. From start to finish, the team were EXCELLENT. Scott showed the upmost professionalism and was extremely organised, answering all of our questions and communicating effectively from our first visit until the wedding day. This meant our big day went off without a hitch. Scott, Connor and Erin worked extremely hard on the day to ensure that everything ran smoothly. We fully trusted them and could not have wished for better coordinators. The venue is beautifully maintained and allows for the most amazing pictures. It is excellent value for money and we would HIGHLY recommend Kinmount House.

As a couple from America, planning a destination wedding isn't the easiest thing in the world. The staff at Kinmount house was amazing and so courteous to our schedule as well as issues with were having with a destination wedding. We cannot emphasis enough how excellent and detail oriented this staff is.
The venue itself is beautiful and pictures do not do it justice. From the moment we turned the corner and saw the house, we were blown away with just how amazing everything looked, from the building itself, to the ponds, all the way to the rooms and cottages, words cannot do it justice how perfect it all is.

My husband, Dom, and I got married at Kinmount House on the 25th of July, and it truly couldn't have been a more perfect day!

We'd like to say a huge thank you to Scott, Lucy, Connor, Erin, Lauren, and everyone who works at Kinmount House (so sorry if we didn't catch your name!). They are an absolutely incredible team who genuinely care about every wedding they organise and host. From the very beginning, they listened carefully to everything we wanted and brought our vision to life, paying attention to even the smallest details.

Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their warmth, professionalism, and dedication made the entire planning process enjoyable and stress-free. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every single moment with our family and friends.

Kinmount House is an absolutely stunning venue, without a doubt one of the best in the country, but it's the people who make it truly special. The passion, care, and hard work that the whole team puts into creating unforgettable weddings is evident in everything they do.

The on-site accommodation was also incredible! We hadn't looked round all of the cottages when we first did a viewing, so seeing the size of the cottages and the quality of the accommodation was such a lovely surprise. All of our guests had a fantastic time and were full of compliments for our choice of venue!

Knowing where to start is the hard part. From it's historic beauty, be it the original door knockers, or the grand entrance hall, this venue keeps giving you that 'wow' moment from the second you pull up into the drive, Kinmount will take both your and your guests breath away over and over again.

The accommodation offers a mix of modern and historic vibes.

The food options are endless, and there is reassuringly something for everyone, no matter what your dietry needs.

The staff are that of the most helpful we have ever experienced. No question was too big or small.

The bar selection is fantastic and very reasonably priced given the venue and location.

The option to add on the Friday night made our wedding that extra bit special.

We got married at Kinmount House in May 2025. We had approx 95 at the ceremony and 105 for the dinner. We can’t put into words how incredible the whole weekend went. Our guests were wowed by Kinmount and the wonderful team that helped make the day run so smoothly. We hired the Croft the night before and we rented all the accommodation on site for guests. The ceremony was held in the ballroom which was followed by a drinks reception in the Italian gardens then terrace area of the Pavillion. The dinner was in the Pavillion. We had a lot of moving parts on the day, especially with live music from various different groups, but nothing was too much and the day went without a hitch. We managed to get photos in the Italian gardens, steps, boathouse and in front of the house at the swing and still had time to enjoy the drinks reception without feeling rushed. When we visited the venue we blown away but the actual weekend exceed all of our expectations. From the friendly staff and great food the night before at the croft to the delicious breakfast for those staying in the main house and beautiful surroundings inside the house to the excellent food and service on the wedding day to the little touches we cannot fault anything and wish we could do it all again.

Special thanks to Lauren who ensured the day went so smoothly and did so with a calm and friendly manner. Also thanks to Leeanne and Connor and Justine who played an important part over the weekend. Fiona and George were very welcoming to us and our guests and have established something very special. We had our wedding here on the 21st September 2024. It was truly the best day ever and so much of that we attribute to Kinmount House. Not only was it a beautiful backdrop for both our ceremony and reception, but it was had everything we needed from accomodation, getting ready space, event space for the night before. The staff was so helpful, and guided us to make decisions that were right for our big day. Their expertise is invaluable! This is such a romantic place to get married and it really felt like home whole we were there. From start to finish everything went smoothly. We hired the Croft the night before and had a great meal with guests to break the ice ready for the big day. Accommodation is beautiful. The wedding day we chose to get married in the ball room then drinks reception in the Italian gardens. We had cocktails in the sunshine then moved on to the pavilion for our evening reception.

We cannot fault the team in any way. They are so committed, professional, friendly and supportive. Nothing was ever any trouble, and Victoria and her lovely team deserve so much credit for us having the most perfect day. The venue, the facilities, the cottages, food, just everything was just out of this world! I was provided with an interactive wedding planning tool called Aisle Planner, and I can 100% confirm that using this tool took away so much stress whilst planning. There is a clear time line of tasks, and when you should start preparing/working on those tasks, and once complete, the box is ticked, and your progress percentage is updated. It was incredibly satisfying seeing everything being gradually ticked off, when I think I would have become completely overwhelmed by my bog standard spreadsheet! The food on the day was incredible! Credit to the chef and team, as every single one of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the classic barbecue we opted for! Also the pizzas for the reception buffet went down a treat. Both the food and drinks packages we opted for were excellent value for money, with all the fresh and delicious produce used. We cannot fault anything from our experience. We both took away so much from our regular meetings with the team during the process and always felt in safe hands, and were made to feel like we were not just a number. The whole day, and everything we requested was specific to us. Even on the day with the beautiful weather, Victoria offered to change things around to move the drinks reception outside, which was just such a lovely touch, as she, as she told me just wanted our day to be perfect. I could go on forever about how amazing every single person is at Kinmount House, and their love for what they do shines through. Everyone who played a part, management, planning staff in the office, bar and waiting staff, each and every one of them made our day perfect. Communication and timings were seamless between the team, during planning and on the day, and I didn't even worry about a thing on the day because I knew the staff had every single thing covered, down to the smallest detail. This venue is just incredible, and i am so glad we chose Kinmount House, as there is just nowhere like it!

Beautiful location, gorgeous house, modern evening reception area and everything you need within one place. Its exactly what we wanted and more. The owners, management and staff are incredibly kind and friendly. The food was outstandingly good. Nothing was too much to ask and I would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone.

After the disappointment of postponing our May Wedding we stumbled across Kinmount on facebook purely by chance (everything happens for a reason). We both fell in love with the look and feel of the venue over pictures alone. However when we visited it surpassed our expectations. Kinmount House is unique, stunning and very peaceful.

From the moment we first made contact through to our wedding day everything felt so personal to us. George, Fiona and Victoria were dedicated to making our day as incredible as it could be (especially under such unconventional circumstances- Covid 19).

We truly experienced the fairytale wedding at Kinmount House and have memories that will last us a lifetime.

The service provided both in the preparation of our wedding and on the day itself was second to none. During very difficult times, because of Covid, the owners and staff at Kinmount House managed to ensure that we and our guests had a wonderful day. The house and grounds provide a perfect backdrop for any wedding and we have some beautiful photograph's of the day.
The catering was exceptional, and liaison with the chef prior to the wedding was very relaxed.
Victoria was unfailing helpful throughout the preparations, and Alex ensured that everyone was looked after at the reception.
Some of our guests stayed in the apartments on the estate and they were extremely impressed with the standard of the accommodation.
We would have no reservations about recommending Kinmount House to anyone planning their wedding.

My wife and I organised our Hogmanay wedding at Kinmount House with very short notice. After our previous dates had fell through due to the pandemic and government restrictions, we got in touch with Kinmount House to see if they could facilitate our ceremony. Their responsiveness and helpfulness were second to none. Their wedding coordinator, Victoria was great and answered all our queries promptly. We could not have asked for a more thoughtful, kind team, to help us with our day.

The Venue/Location is beautiful. The facilities available must be seen to be believed. Very picturesque.

We feel very grateful that we were able to have our ceremony, despite the restrictions, in such a charming location, with the help of an extremely professional outfit.
