We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. We planned our entire wedding in just six months, but thanks to the amazing team, the whole process felt easy and completely stress free. Communication was excellent throughout, and a special thank you to Pauline and Linsey, who were so helpful, organised, and supportive every step of the way.

On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure both we and our guests were looked after from start to finish.

The food was fantastic, and we’ve had so many compliments on both the canapés and the buffet. Our guests also loved the balcony area, and having exclusive use of the venue made the whole day feel even more special.

Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day so memorable. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly to anyone looking for exceptional service, amazing food, and a team who genuinely care about making your day perfect.

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding reception. We were obsessed with the building and decor as we wanted a contemporary, city centre wedding and Citation ticked all the boxes! Pauline was so helpful on the run up to the day by staying in contact regularly and helping us to prepare fully for our wedding. A highlight of ours was our menu tasting - it was like a private dining experience and the food was unreal!

The food was amazing, from the canapés to the wedding breakfast, and everyone commented on how much they loved it!
We were quite literally waited on the entire day and the staff in particular (especially Aidan, Darren and Robert) made us feel so special and important. The layout was great as well to allow people space to sit and chat, but also plenty of room at the dance floor - especially for our Ceilidh which went down an absolute treat!

Thanks to Citation, we had the perfect wedding day from start to finish. You helped create memories for us which will last a lifetime and every time we walk past, we will be reminded of how we celebrated the most important day of our lives in one of Glasgow’s most iconic and memorable venues.

Our wedding at Citation was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed day! Hannah, Aidan and Casey and the rest of the staff on the day did such a fantastic job in making sure everything ran smoothly, if anything went wrong then we had no idea!
We had so many comments from guests about how lovely the venue was, the delicious meal and how efficient everything ran. Pauline and Hannah put our minds at ease from the very first meeting, the planning stage was not really stressful at all for us as they had everything covered and made sure no small detail was forgotten, even thinking of things that would never have crossed our minds.

Had an amazing time having our wedding at Citation. The staff were very lovely and throughout the process were great at answering our questions. We wanted to lose some of the traditional wedding elements and add in a few bits of our own, which the venue accommodated brilliantly, even though some venues won’t.

The food was great and all dietary requirements were easily catered for

Our guests even commented on how friendly, helpful and pleasant the staff were so it was great that they noticed it too and not just us as the people staff were working most directly with. They definitely went above and beyond and we are super grateful!

We can’t thank Louize and the team at Citation enough for our incredible wedding reception party in August. We had the best night ever in this beautiful venue and felt so well looked after. Everything was so well organised we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We got so many compliments about the venue, it was just perfect! If your looking for a gorgeous city venue this is it!

We married at Citation on August 19th this year and were over the moon with our day and night. From the start Louize was amazing, so professional and helpful. Citation is a beautiful venue and on the day Natalie and me and all of our guests were blown away. We had our dream wedding and cannot thank Louize and all the team for making the occasion unforgettable - thank you guys !

We had our day at Citation on the 1st of August 2022 having previously switched venue from 29 Glasgow. Louize and the team are an absolute credit to Citation, Louize in particular is amazing, so accommodating, friendly and most importantly so knowledgeable and competent she really takes the pressure off and allows the couple to enjoy the planning of their day as well as the day itself. Citation is absolutely breath-taking, such a beautiful venue in the middle of Glasgow I cannot think of a single other place that could compare. The entire day of my wedding I had guests talking about how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful the staff were. The master of ceremonies was a gentleman and instantly put an anxious bride at ease! I can never thank you all enough, you absolutely gave me the day I have always dreamt of and with a team that made us feel first class all day

Citation were fantastic from start to finish. No query was too small, no question too silly. Louize was always approachable and professional and ensured the full day tan like clockwork. The venue is stunning and every guest commented on its unique vibe and lovely atmosphere. I would not change a thing about our day!

We had our wedding day on the 24th of July and start to finish it was perfect. Louize and her team made the planning process so easy and exciting and made sure to check in regularly with us. Those personal links made it feel that much more special. The venue itself is stunning - all our guests were so complimentary. It’s prefect for an all day affair - we married upstairs and had cocktail hour and pictures downstairs before returning upstairs for our meal which was 10/10. Our guests felt very looked after by the attentive staff throughout the day. The venue is fully accessible which was such a weight of our minds for our older guests. The staff who run the day are on top of everything! And they kept us informed throughout. Nothing felt rushed but everything was organised which made the day flow smoothly.
The evening reception was amazing as the downstairs transforms into the perfect bar and dance floor space. Special mention to the bar and security staff who were very helpful and friendly.
In conclusion, if we could do the whole day again, we would! It was just amazing and something we’ll remember forever.

We enjoyed every moment of our wedding day on 2nd July 2022 and that was largely down to Louize and the amazing staff in Citation. We had big concerns about road closures on the day (due to another large event in the city centre) but Louize put our minds at ease straight away, and as she predicted everything went without a hitch! Everything that we asked for was done without any hesitation and all of our guests commented on what an amazing venue Citation is!! We had asked for a number of special requests during our meal and they were all carried out without any trouble at all. The meal itself was beautiful and our cocktail table went down a treat with the guests too!! I would highly recommend that anyone who is considering using Citation for their wedding day to book ASAP - you wont regret it!

We got married on Saturday 23rd July and it was the most beautiful perfect day from start to finish.

Louize was outstanding and made everything very manageable and stress free from the start of the planning. We had a church wedding and then had our reception at Citation and Louize made it very easy to accommodate this and gave us excellent advice about timings and logistics. She was an excellent communicator and got back to us very quickly about any questions that we had. She made everything easy by providing us with a template that we could work from together so we knew all of the things that we had to think about. I loved that she provided us with a list of recommended suppliers too so that we didn’t have to look about for different things like florists, invitations etc.

Citation was a stunning venue and an ideal location for us and all of our guests as it was right in the city centre. It was beautifully decorated and we were able to choose different add-ons that we wanted for the day such as the floral arch and neon ‘Mr and Mrs’ sign. I loved that we could add on all of the different decorations such as candelabras and chair covers again from the one place as it made everything so much less stressful. The food at the venue was superb and all of our guests commented on how delicious it was! We were able to choose our canapés and menu and taste everything beforehand.

The staff at the venue were just lovely and so, so helpful. We opted for the DJ and he was fantastic. The music was amazing and the dance floor was never empty all night!

I would thoroughly recommend Citation as a venue and Louize as a wedding planner. We had the best day ever and wish we could do it all again. Thank you!

From our first meeting with Louize the wedding coordinator, to the day after our wedding when we popped in to collect extra cake and our post box contents, everything was faultless.

The whole team delivered a friendly and professional service at all times. The food was delicious and many of our guest commented on this.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning with bare brick walls and a stunning staircase wrapped with pretty faux flowers.

The ideal thing for us is we had our wedding ceremony and reception together at the venue, no need for guests to travel around.

Would highly, highly recommend anyone to consider choosing Citation as a wedding venue.
