We got married at Carberry Tower on 14 April 2018 and we could not have been happier with the service we received. The day ran smoothly from start to finish and every member of staff was friendly and helpful. The food was superb with several guests telling us it was the best main course they had eaten at a wedding. We had been a little worried about the size of the Rose Rooms for our evening reception but it was the perfect size and there was plenty of room for dancing, including ceilidh dancing. We loved having exclusive use as it really felt like we had a Scottish castle to ourselves for the day. Perhaps best of all was the fact that Carberry didn’t feel like your usual wedding at a hotel which can sometimes feel a little cold & corporate and instead it felt relaxed, warm and distinctly Scottish! We would recommend Carberry Tower as a wedding venue to anyone without hesitation. Thank you to Louise and everyone else at Carberry who gave us our perfect day!

Exceptional Wedding Venue - Bride & Groom
By Kimberley & Colin McDonald, on 03 Apr 2017Date of Wedding - 25 Mar 2017
Carberry Tower is an exceptional wedding venue and everything about our day from start to finish was absolutely incredible. It was more than we could ever have imagined and everything went seamlessly, we even got the Scottish sunshine! We picked the venue based on the impressive building and location, the amazing bedrooms and we loved that we could have the entire wedding onsite, including a church wedding. What we didn’t know at booking, was how amazing the staff, service and food would be, and I can say that they exceeded all expectations along the way. Any issues (very few) were promptly addressed and resolved, at all times the staff were extremely professional yet relaxed and flexible to any requests. We have been flooded with compliments from our guests (who travelled from all over the world) of what an amazing wedding it was, a true Scottish affair complete with dancing until dawn. We couldn't recommend it highly enough! Thank You, Carberry for making our day so special!
Dear Kimberley & Colin,
Thank you both for the wonderful review. We are thrilled that your wedding was everything you could have hoped for! The weather was certainly a bonus, being the best day of the year so far! It was a pleasure to work with you throughout the planning process and be there on the day to see it all come together. The entire team would like to wish you both a lifetime of happiness and we cant wait to welcome you back to Carberry Tower Mansion House again! We will ensure that your kind words will be relayed to all of the staff involved in your Wedding.
AmaZing Wedding Venue

I spent a week end at the Carberry Tower for a wedding, a truly fabulous venue for such an event.
Plus side:- The staff are a delight and nothing is too much trouble, the bar staff in particular will keep you entertained.
The formal garden is a lovely place to sit and take photos.
The building itself is so well appointed inside and feels just like a family home. Lovely tartan and tweed fabric, spacious sitting areas, so relaxing.
Very good shower and lovely fragrant toiletries.
Excellent wedding breakfast and dining area beautifully decorated.
Wedding Chapel perfect and having Bagpipes really added to the atmosphere.
Take your walking boots as the whole estate is fabulous to explore, with peaceful and very beautiful woods, filled with wild flowers to walk through.

As the setting for our daughters wedding, we were not disappointed. With guests traveling from all over the UK and rest of the world - everything went wonderfully. The staff especially Amy are to be congratulated, thank you all.
The room we stayed in (The Royal Suite), was a once in a lifetime experience, I only wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you Carberry Tower.

Our daughter booked us a one night stay with dinner, B&B+ high tea next day for our 43rd wedding anniversary. Everything was 1st class. Food, service, staff & accommodation'. A really fabulous stress free & relaxing break. Thank you all at Carberry Tower.

Spent a fabulous day and night at the wedding of my Sister-in-law in sumptuous surroundings oozing historical charm.
Attentive staff, comfortable accommodation in The Royal Suite and an absolutely fantastic raindrop shower and a super comfortable 4 poster bed.
The wedding itself was faultless, the food was outstanding, the staff carried out their duties with immaculate precision and attention to detail and the marquee was immaculate.
The grounds themselves are charming and peaceful and there was plenty of opportunity to step away from the party to relax and enjoy the peace and calm of the gardens.
I think the Tower is a little time warp, sure the quirky floor arrangements and the out of order lift can be annoying, but you have to see it for what it is, it's an old but well preserved building with a touch of class and luxury.
Highly recommended and would love to come back.
Wedding Civil Partnership

Sister's civil partnership. Fantastic venue. Modern comforts like en-suite bathroom with power shower but respecting the layout and heritage of the venue. Really special place and perfect if you want a feel of a traditional ancient Scottish castle mixed with a modern feel to it. Gardens are elegant with a lot of extensive grounds to walk around in and explore where Mary Queen of Scots gave herself up to the English.
Perfect wedding venue
By Simon A, on 03 Feb 2015
We had our wedding at Carberry Tower in November and everything was perfect for us. Had the hotel exclusively for the wedding which was definitely the best thing to do as it was lovely having the place just for just us and our guests. Food was great, both on the wedding day and the dinner they put on for us the night before. Definitely use the whisky bar as this was a nice touch after dinner.
Amy the wedding co-ordinator and John and the staff who looked after us on the day were both great and really can't think of anything that didn't go to plan.
My only downside was as the bride I was staying in the Mary Queen of Scots suite, while it was a amazing room it was directly above the downstairs reception rooms and with a wedding taking place the night before ours it was a little noisy, also when the fire pit in courtyard was lit there was quite a strong smell of smoke in the rooms nearby ( and quite sensitive fire alarms!) therefore would possibly recommend staying in the Royal suite which is a little more out if the way and quieter.
Wonderful Wedding and Hogmanay Stay
By Gary P, on 03 Feb 2015
We selected Carberry Tower Castle because they were hosting a Gala Dinner and dance evening on Hogmanay. We got married that day so wanted to finish the celebrations off at this wonderful venue. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic. The rooms were lovely and couldn't fault a single thing and they accommodated our requests. The drinks reception and gala dinner and were great and the food was fantastic. The chefs did an excellent job and looked after our dietary needs too. My only disappointment was that we weren't staying another night but we really look forward to returning in the future.

We have just left Carberry after staying for 2 days and really missing it already. We stayed for our pre wedding evening and had a magnificent family meal in the music room, then had the most wonderful day and evening for our wedding, the service was outstanding and the bedrooms, gardens and every part of the venue wowed us. Thank you so much Carberry staff and special thanks to Amy and Douglas from Janet & Tom O'Connor xxx
Excellent weekend away

We went back to Carberry Tower recently for our anniversary after getting married there last year and were yet again not disappointed. The location is great and the staff were very helpful. When we arrived the chef had already gone home but they managed to rustle up some sandwiches for us which was much appreciated. In the morning Michelle was as cheerful as usual when we had to eventually leave. Great venue.

Stayed here one night for a wedding - very charming hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Room was lovely and bed enormous. Very pleasant stay but only gripe was the price of drinks £6 for a bottle of beer and £7.50 for a wee glass of wine. Set in lovely grounds which we were fortunate enough to take full advantage of due to the lovely weather. We stayed in the main building so cannot comment on the lodges. Would I recommend it - yes I would.
