Cambo really is a magical place and so much of that magic comes from the team behind it. The planning process alone told us we’d chosen the right venue. Our wedding planner worked closely with Joanne at Cambo, who took the time to walk us through every corner of the venue and it quickly became clear that almost anything was possible. Every idea we floated was met with genuine thought rather than a flat no, and that flexibility and creativity set the tone for everything that followed. From the moment we arrived for the wedding weekend, it felt as though every detail had already been thought of. Wine storage, deliveries, logistics — whatever it was, the team seemed to have a solution before a problem could even arise. What amazed us most was how effortless it all felt from our side, which we know only happens because of an enormous amount of work and care behind the scenes. It was very special to have around 35 guests staying at the venue with us over the weekend, it helped to create a beautiful wedding bubble to fully relax and enjoy the celebration. We had to make the tough call to move our ceremony indoors, and the team’s calm guidance made that decision so much easier. In hindsight, it was exactly how things were meant to be, the flowers overflowing the beautiful room, our guests close around us, the intimacy of it all only heightened the emotion of the day. And right to the very end, the team made sure our celebrations could continue in the woodland right into the night and exactly as we’d dreamed — dancing under the trees into the small hours. A truly unique and joyful way to close out the weekend. Cambo is one of those rare places that becomes part of the story of your life. We loved every minute, and we’ll be talking about our wedding weekend for years to come. Could not recommend it more highly.

My partner and I recently celebrated our wedding at Cambo Estate and couldn’t be more grateful to the estate and its wonderful team. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how gorgeous, cosy, inspiring, and fun the property is. From the café and gardens to the woodland trails, seaside, and hidden corners of the grounds, everything was truly stunning. Having the house entirely to ourselves for the weekend - and the freedom to shape the events exactly as we wanted - made the whole experience feel personal and magical.

The estate offers so many inviting spaces for guests to gather, play games, chat, and simply relax. And the lack of a curfew throughout most of the house added an extra sense of joy and spontaneity.

Joanne and her team went above and beyond in helping us and our vendors pull together a weekend full of moving pieces. They coordinated everything from a movie-night projector to microphones for speeches, rented glassware, arranged bartenders for both the wedding and a whisky tasting, set up event spaces with custom lighting, provided a sound system, kept fireplaces going, and even supplied wood for s’mores. As this was a destination wedding for us and most of our guests, Cambo’s organization was a huge relief.

Their attention to detail shone through in every Zoom call and throughout the weekend. The personalized door signs, stocked restrooms, welcome guides, printed maps, and countless thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. Joanne and her team were always available, kind, clear, quick to respond, and genuinely enthusiastic. Their care brought so much joy to our guests and to us, and we are deeply grateful.

My husband and I truly had our dream wedding experience at cambo estate, from start to finish the staff was so helpful and everything was tailored to our vision. Joanne and Dana have the wedding planning process down to a science, and we always felt in good hands. They also had amazing advice for vendors, many of which we chose on Cambo’s recommendation. Lastly, the estate itself is stunning, and gave our family abroad such a wonderful impression of Scotland, that made their long journey worth it.

Cambo is a 10/10 venue and location, and an 11/10 staffing team. We had our wedding here in August 2025 and it was flawless. We were admittedly very lucky with the weather which allowed the venue to really shine, but regardless this is just a fantastic location and we would thoroughly recommend it. Our guests really enjoyed exploring the grounds, house, and local area in the run-up, and the day itself saw our guests really excited about such a unique location. Joanne gets a special shoutout for being a fantastic venue host; she ran an entertaining pub quiz for us on the Thursday, and was just incredibly helpful in the run-up to and over the weekend. Such a good team, and a special place.

My husband and I have friends and family in the US and UK and so Cambo was not only perfect for having accommodation for most of our guests on site, it was a 3 day affair! We were able to make use most of the rooms across the weekend, and the staff were helpful from the very first phone call. Joanne is an absolute legend and looked after us and our guests so well. Not only is the venue amazing, but you can also have guests enjoy the Cambo Cafe and Gardens while there. It was the ultimate house party for everyone to enjoy, and what was great was that some guests could nap/ rest or disappear if they needed to as well. If you are looking for a full on 3 day wedding weekend celebration on beautiful grounds, then Cambo is the one!! My husband and I did a lot of planning to make sure it was exactly how we dreamed it, and it ended up 10X better thanks to the incredible people at Cambo. ANow we have a great place to visit in years to come

We got married at Cambo and honestly couldn’t imagine a more perfect venue. The setting is absolutely stunning - from the grand interiors of the house to the walled garden, woodlands, and even the beach nearby. What makes it really special, though, is how relaxed and flexible everything feels while being so stunning and elegant!

We had the whole place to ourselves for the weekend, which gave us so much space and time to enjoy it all with our friends and family. The team at Cambo were incredible - super supportive, responsive, and genuinely kind and seemed to love helping us. They gave us loads of helpful guidance while still letting us shape the day to reflect who we are and what we wanted!

Every part of Cambo has its own unique charm, and we loved how easy it was to make each space our own. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We had the most amazing weekend to celebrate our wedding at Cambo! It is such a special place, the house has so much character and many formats (we used the upstairs rooms for DIY welcome drinks the night before the wedding, the coachyard for reception dinner, dancing and bbq the next day, and the magical Walled Garden for our ceremony). It was fab to have our family stay in the house and the wings/kitchens are v well equipped. Lauren, Joanne, Kay and team were very warm and professional, with plenty opportunities to check in on details and timelines ahead of the day as well as being very responsive and proactive on the day in supporting with logistics, queries and suppliers. They were also flexible to let us drop off food and kit ahead of our entry time, and were so kind to even drop off some hired props for us in Dundee after the weekend! A truly unforgettable weekend which our guests enjoyed as much as we did. Highly recommend.

We remember our wedding so fondly, it almost hurts because we miss our time at Cambo that much! Organizing the event with Cambo’s staff could have been a nightmare since we were planning our wedding from a different country, but the amazing people at Cambo would never let that happen. They took incredible care of us and all our guests. They responded to all our questions, big and small, critical and silly, and in a very timely manner. Even with the time difference, we felt so informed and on top of things. Their staff have countless weddings and events under the belt, but they made us feel like more than just one of thousands of couples; they made us feel like we were as special to Cambo as Cambo was to us. They made us feel like family and we can’t wait to return one day and relive some of the best moments of our lives. We couldn’t be more grateful for the team at Cambo Estate.

As soon as we decided we were doing a Scottish destination wedding, Cambo was on the list. After talking with Joanne and hearing about the flexibility we could have — we were looking for a mix of old country estate and more casual farmhouse style - we knew we had our place.

Booking a wedding venue site unseen is inherently nerve wrecking but when we went to visit, we were immediately put at ease. Joanne came prepared with questions and ideas for every potential vendor from band and caterer to a vintage car company to take us to and from the church.

As family and friends were traveling from all over we wanted to offer them a true multi day experience. Both our families were able to join us at Cambo for the whole weekend, and then we had breakfasts both days, a wedding reception for just over 110 (we got married at a church in St Andrews), and then a BBQ for 50+ on Sunday.

On the day of the wedding, Joanne went above and beyond to ensure everything went seamlessly. Our friends and family that had made the trip continue to talk about the food, the accommodations, and the wedding itself but they also talk about the small details — the different breakfast set ups each morning, the BBQ on Sunday and the surprise polar plunge. None of this would have been possible anywhere else and without Joanne, she truly made our wedding dreams become a reality!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at Cambo and the incredible team, especially Joanne. From the very start, Joanne gave us such valuable advice over email and on our planning weekends (and wasn't intimidated at all by our 67-page briefing pack!). She’s an absolute superstar, and we truly wouldn’t have made it through the weekend without her! The whole team was so warm and friendly, making us feel right at home and even helping us all with our baggage and decorations when they really didn't have to. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and magical - despite the rain forcing us away from the garden and into an indoor ceremony, everything still felt extra special. The library was the perfect setting for the vibe of our day. Our entire stay was filled with so much fun, and it really felt like a wrench to leave as we were so at home by the end of the weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate - and our family has threatened that we should all go back every year on our anniversary!
