We planned our wedding 6 months out and quickly but thoroughly shopped around for the right venue for us. We quickly realised that BAaD was right for our day, with the help of Jess, who met with us and worked through everything. We had our hearts set on a venue and a day that gave us the ability to create a celebratory atmosphere with it being a little less formal. Because the venue is flexible and adaptable, we were able to create the right feel with an intimate ceremony followed by epic party vibes later. The little things like the Photo Booth, the LED screen add to the great location, fantastic staff and very cool venue. We are so grateful to Jess who was super cool throughout and made the day perfect for us. I didn’t worry once about timings or anything else. Couldn’t recommend this venue more. It’s the perfect Scottish/Glasgow spot to celebrate your special day.

From the start, communicating with the engine works was easy. They answered emails very fast and we were able to go for a viewing within the week. The staff are amazing leading up to the wedding, they send you numbers from the vendors they’ve worked with before, a mockup timeline and plenty of photos for inspiration. Our day went absolutely perfectly and would highly recommend using this venue. If we could do it all again, we would change nothing

We had a terrific experience with the wedding team at the Strathaven Hotel. From our first contact we felt very comfortable discussing our plans. We had scheduled meetings leading up to our special day to ensure nothing had been forgotten. We used suppliers recommended by the staff including a local florist and piper who were excellent. Many of our guests commented on the quality of our wedding breafast. The hotel exterior and gardens provided a perfect backdrop for our photographs. Many thanks to Morgan, Gillian and Jen for making our wedding day dream come true. Best wishes Douglas & Eileen

We could not have picked a more perfect venue for our wedding reception. We were obsessed with the building and decor as we wanted a contemporary, city centre wedding and Citation ticked all the boxes! Pauline was so helpful on the run up to the day by staying in contact regularly and helping us to prepare fully for our wedding. A highlight of ours was our menu tasting - it was like a private dining experience and the food was unreal! The food was amazing, from the canapés to the wedding breakfast, and everyone commented on how much they loved it! We were quite literally waited on the entire day and the staff in particular (especially Aidan, Darren and Robert) made us feel so special and important. The layout was great as well to allow people space to sit and chat, but also plenty of room at the dance floor - especially for our Ceilidh which went down an absolute treat! Thanks to Citation, we had the perfect wedding day from start to finish. You helped create memories for us which will last a lifetime and every time we walk past, we will be reminded of how we celebrated the most important day of our lives in one of Glasgow’s most iconic and memorable venues.

We got married here on the 3rd of October 2025 and when we tell you it was a perfect day, we mean it! Storm Amy may have been raging outside, but the wonderful people at House for an Art Lover made it feel like pure sunshine inside (shout out to Kate, Amber and Amy in particular). Our guests all commented that the food was wonderful (we agree). One of our vegan guests even told us how excited she was at having a choice at our buffet, and that all of it was delicious. We are so glad that we chose House for an Art Lover as the setting for the best day of our lives. If you are reading this while still considering whether you want to get married here, just do it. I would like to thank you and your staff for everything you did for Fiona & David's Wedding on 25th June 2010. We all had such a wonderful day and were blessed with the most fantastic weather which enabled them to get married outside. The setting and the layout for the service was just fantastic. Gleddoch House is a wonderful venue, could not get a better setting. The staff that were working on the day were very hardworking, pleasant and helpful. The dining room was set out beautifully and we had such a fantastic day. I do sincerely thank you for all your help in making this day special for Fiona and David and would definately recommend Gleddoch House as the perfect venue for a Wedding.

Excellent but the hotel needs updating as windows could not open and the air conditioning is a hit and a miss But all great

We recently had our wedding here and it was brilliant! The staff are amazing not just on the day but in the months running up to the wedding. As we live in England we had to do most of the arrangements over the phone or email and Alison and the rest of the guys always got back to us quick and were so helpful even helping us with recommendations with dj's and photographers. A lot of our guests came from England also so we had booked out most of the accommodation and it was all excellent! The house itself is beautiful and on the day of our wedding the staff were always on hand for anything we needed. They really were there all day from when we got up until we went to bed. Also the food was amazing!!! So yummy!! I could go on all day about how great the Inglewood is and how amazing the staff are.......if you're thinking about having your wedding here book it!! You won't regret it! AMAZING venue! AMAZING food! AMAZING staff!! We had the day of our dreams here! Can't wait to stay here again!

The most perfect wedding day at One Devonshire Gardens My husband and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at One Devonshire Gardens for giving us the most incredible wedding day we could have ever imagined. From the very first viewing of the townhouse, through the entire planning process, and on the big day itself – the service, attention to detail, and genuine care from the team were absolutely outstanding. Special thanks to Stacy and Paige, who are truly exceptional at what they do. They guided us every step of the way, helped bring our vision to life, and ensured every detail was flawless. We always felt supported, listened to, and genuinely cared for. The food was nothing short of divine – our guests are still raving about it! A huge shoutout to Nick, our Master of Ceremonies, who was simply amazing. He was fantastic with all of our guests and made sure the day ran seamlessly from start to finish. We’d also love to thank Charlie and Niven, who looked after everyone so attentively during the reception – friendly, professional, and a real credit to the venue. The venue itself is breathtaking – elegant, intimate, and filled with warmth and charm. The rooms were stunning, and the atmosphere was everything we dreamed of. One Devonshire Gardens truly delivered a day we will never forget. What made it so special were the people – the team who went above and beyond to make us feel so well looked after.
