We had an incredible experience with BAaD and their wedding planner Jess. The venue is genuinely unique — full of character, beautifully lit, and flexible enough to create a day that feels completely personal without needing to transform the space. The layout works perfectly for a full‑day celebration, and the transitions between ceremony, dinner, and evening reception were seamless. The food was excellent, the team were organised and supportive, and overall the venue offered excellent value for money. Jess was outstanding from start to finish. She explained everything clearly, kept the planning process simple, and was always open to ideas. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she consistently offered solutions whenever we needed guidance. Her organisation made the whole experience feel easy, and she coordinated with all our suppliers so everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. On the day, Jess was calm, professional, and incredibly supportive. She checked in regularly, made sure we were comfortable, and kept everything running exactly as planned. Her knowledge of the industry and her partnerships with trusted hotels and vendors made the whole process far less overwhelming and gave us confidence in every decision. BAaD is a standout venue, and Jess is a huge part of what makes it such a brilliant place to get married. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough. All of our guests commented on how different our wedding was in all of the best ways!

From the start, communicating with the engine works was easy. They answered emails very fast and we were able to go for a viewing within the week. The staff are amazing leading up to the wedding, they send you numbers from the vendors they’ve worked with before, a mockup timeline and plenty of photos for inspiration. Our day went absolutely perfectly and would highly recommend using this venue. If we could do it all again, we would change nothing

From the moment we met Rebecca and Wayne, we knew this was our venue. Of course, the setting itself is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside, fields, and animals, with breathtaking views across Loch Lomond - but what truly made Fruin Farm stand out was Rebecca and Wayne. From our very first meeting, they were warm, kind, relaxed, and genuinely interested in helping us create the wedding we wanted. There was never any pressure, and they were refreshingly transparent about costs and what was included. After visiting several venues where every little detail seemed to come with an additional charge, it was such a relief to meet people who were upfront, honest, and clear from the start. During what can be an overwhelming and stressful process, their approach immediately put us at ease. From that point onwards, their communication was great. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly, and they were incredibly supportive throughout the planning process. As the wedding approached, they helped coordinate the final details and made everything feel manageable and organised. On the wedding day itself, we were completely blown away. Rebecca and Wayne worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for both us and our guests was evident in every aspect of the day. They guided us through each stage, adapted effortlessly whenever plans changed, and helped coordinate special touches - including incorporating our piper into the cake-cutting - making everything feel smooth and natural. The food deserves a special mention. It was simply outstanding. We genuinely don't think we heard a single negative comment from any guest. In fact, several people told us it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. The food was restaurant quality, beautifully presented, and served incredibly efficiently. Every order was correct, and the standard exceeded all of our expectations. The service throughout the evening was equally impressive. The team looked after our guests brilliantly, and small gestures demonstrated the level of care that sets Fruin Farm apart. For example, when some of our allocated wine wasn't used during dinner, Rebecca and Wayne simply added the value to the bar tab so guests could enjoy other drinks instead. That level of flexibility, honesty, and thoughtfulness is something we hadn't experienced at larger venues, and it perfectly reflects the integrity with which they run their business. At the end of the night, all of our decorations, personal belongings, and keepsakes had been carefully packed away and organised for us to collect. Everything was treated with such care. We were also touched by the personalised card from Rebecca and Wayne, congratulating us and sharing a little piece of wedding advice. It was a lovely gesture and one of many examples of the personal touches that make Fruin Farm so special. Looking back, our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more. Rebecca and Wayne's kindness, attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine love for what they do shine through in every interaction. They don't just provide a wedding venue - they create an experience that makes couples and their families feel genuinely cared for. What an amazing venue! We had the best experience from the outset. Morgan is so amazing at her job- such a lovely, warm person who is great at what she does. Super organised and deals with every query and question quickly. The hotel has a relaxed approach to a lot of things and we loved this. We had the most perfect day and despite it being raining, they even made the effort to put our outdoor games for the kids in the ceremony room to keep them entertained. The meal was excellent and all of our guests commented on it - especially the haggis parcel to start! The hotel really do go above and beyond to make your day run smoothly and ensure every little detail is covered. We couldn’t recommend them enough!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue. We planned our entire wedding in just six months, but thanks to the amazing team, the whole process felt easy and completely stress free. Communication was excellent throughout, and a special thank you to Pauline and Linsey, who were so helpful, organised, and supportive every step of the way. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure both we and our guests were looked after from start to finish. The food was fantastic, and we’ve had so many compliments on both the canapés and the buffet. Our guests also loved the balcony area, and having exclusive use of the venue made the whole day feel even more special. Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding day so memorable. We couldn’t recommend this venue more highly to anyone looking for exceptional service, amazing food, and a team who genuinely care about making your day perfect.

After deliberating over several other venues, House for An Art Lover was undoubtedly the one for our special day. If you're a lover of Mackintosh, look no further for the perfect backdrop to your wedding. We held the ceremony in the bright Music Room followed by drinks reception on the balcony and dinner in the main hall. Kate was great throughout the planning and kept in touch. As was our Master of Ceremonies, Farooq and Amanda who were so accommodating on the day. In fact, all the staff were fantastic and the guests had nothing but great feedback on what was the best day for us!

I would like to thank you and your staff for everything you did for Fiona & David's Wedding on 25th June 2010. We all had such a wonderful day and were blessed with the most fantastic weather which enabled them to get married outside. The setting and the layout for the service was just fantastic. Gleddoch House is a wonderful venue, could not get a better setting. The staff that were working on the day were very hardworking, pleasant and helpful. The dining room was set out beautifully and we had such a fantastic day. I do sincerely thank you for all your help in making this day special for Fiona and David and would definately recommend Gleddoch House as the perfect venue for a Wedding.

Myself and my mum and bridal party arrived the evening before to spend the night preparing in a lodge with a hot tub. On the morning of, we went up to the getting ready suite which has a huge outdoor patio, big living room and great space to get ready in including lighted mirrors. The venue staff looked after us so well all day and the food was amazing. And most of our guests stayed in the lodges which meant that after the party was done we could all party together to debrief from the most amazing day. The events coordinator Polly was an absolute dream along with all the other staff who was there to support me and my husband every second of the day.

We wanted to let you know that we were absolutely delighted with everything HDV did for us for our wedding and reception on 28th February. The venue was spectacular, which everyone commented on and the food was wonderful. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating and they were an absolute credit to your organisation. In particular we would like to thank Nick and Jade, who from the very start led us through the proceedings with great kindness and professionalism. It was a very emotional, event for us, but the calming influence of Nick and Jade helped us through it all and made the day very special. Special thanks also to Nick’s staff and the bar staff who were exceptional throughout the night and catered for everyone’s needs. They made everyone feel very welcome and looked after everyone very well. Please pass on our sincere thanks to all involved. They made a special day for us very special.
