We had our wedding at Mar Lodge Estate in August. The grounds and the house are immaculately cared for. We rented two out of the four of the apartments in the main house; a 2 bedroom for us, and the large, multi-bedroom for our wedding guests. The rooms are spacious and most have bathrooms attached or across the hall. The kitchens have ample space to store food and prepare meals, and the living / dining area is equipped for many people to enjoy a meal or a night in together. We had our ceremony in Linn of Quoich on Mar Lodge Estate, and were permitted to use Queen Victoria's Cottage for a light lunch. The area is incredible for photographs, and easily walkable from the nearby parking lot. While the house, the location, and even the weather were fantastic, our wedding would not have gone so smoothly without the involvement of Sophie and Louise. Over our week staying at the lodge, they played the following roles, many of them unexpected, but not unappreciated; tour guide, kilt inspector, bridal attendant, photographer's assistant, steam cleaner, construction supervisor, champagne flute procurer, wedding dress complimenter, and, most appreciated, conversation partner. They had an immeasurable impact not only on our wedding day, but on the experience of each member of our group throughout our entire stay on the property. If you are considering celebrating your wedding at Mar Lodge, consider no longer. You will have an unforgettable experience.

We had Julie and amiee to book and plan the wedding but on the wedding day itself we had Jordan and he was absolutely amazing and we could not fault a thing with him he was so professional and everything was done as we asked and nothing to too much for him to do, we highly recommend The Norwood Hall me and my husband had an amazing day.

Molly Gray our events manager did an exceptional job of organising our wedding. From start to finish nothing was an issue and the whole day went like clockwork. Molly made the experience hassle free, with great communication through out the planning process and the whole team on the day were excellent. Everyone commented on how amazing the venue was and the staff were fantastic. I can’t thank everyone enough for making our wedding day so special and stress free.

What can I say apart from wow. This venue was completely perfect and made our day incredible. We had Gillian help with the planning and the organisation and we could trust that everything would run smoothly thanks to her hardwork and dedication. Stef and Tim (the owners) are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. To have the venue for a couple of days was great as my family who had to travel from Somerset to attend for to relax the next day after the wedding, which made everything even more special. The amount of accommodation included was great as hardly anyone had to worry about organising taxis and it really helped my friends with young children as they could have a middle of the day nap before the evening got underway. The whole day was perfect, we couldn't recommend Logie highly enough, when can we come back for a vow renewal? 🤣 They also have onsite highland cows you can have wedding photos taken with ☺️

Ballogie house was the most amazing venue for our intimate wedding in November. Having the venue for 4 nights meant we could fully relax with our nearest and dearest before and after the wedding, and allowed us to fully emerse ourselves in the day itself. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning, I can't think of a single think I would change about the whole experience. It's one of the few venues locally where the indoor ceremony space is equally as beautiful as the outdoor options. Molly and the team were absolutely fantastic and took care of us every step of the way, nothing was too much trouble. I can't recommend Ballogie House highly enough to anyone planning their wedding!

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing wedding at Glen Tanar in August 2025. We got married at the Trout Loch, which was the most stunning location for our ceremony, before moving to the ballroom and lawn for the reception. The ballroom was the perfect venue for a ceilidh in the evening and we, along with all the guests, had a brilliant time. We hired most of the cottages on the site for our wedding party and some family, and everyone found them incredibly comfortable and tranquil. The cottages were also very convenient for getting ready on the morning of the wedding. We stayed at the Tower O'Ess, which felt very luxurious and made the weekend even more special! Stuart was incredibly helpful before and during the day, and made sure that everything ran smoothly. We're very grateful for all of his support, and would highly recommend Glen Tanar for weddings and holidays!

My partner & I recently celebrated our big day at Cluny Castle - from start to finish everything was just perfect! Prepare for some unbelievable photographs with this gorgeous venue! From the castle itself, to the beautiful chapel it really is something special! Natalie was an amazing wedding co-ordinator who kept in touch throughout the planning process & kept everything running smoothly over the wedding weekend. We were also given a butler, Steven, who done a fantastic job over the course of the weekend without feeling like anyone was lingering. All in all, we couldn’t recommend Cluny Castle more - we really wish we could live the whole weekend all over again. Love, The Donalds x

Ardoe proved to be the perfect venue and location for our wedding. We got lucky with the weather as it turned out to be the sunniest day of the year, but everything else went so well due to the professionalism and patience of the staff. Ours was a Scottish/Nigerian event, and they accommodated all the different cultural requests concerning our food and entertainment. This understanding, the Sunday discount, and the high standard of service throughout made it an epic day. Thank you Ardoe!
