We had the most amazing time, staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us!
They really went the extra mile, and the view and venue is just breathtaking.
We spent a few days in the lodge and Shepard’s hut and we both really recommend these also just stunning.

First of all what an amazing day we and all our guests had.
Aimee our wedding coordinator was brilliant guiding us through everything from the food to table planning and how the day was going to go. The team on the day were second to none. Breakfast delivered to our lodge in the morning organising the bridal party for timings to go accross and the cars to take us there. The Buddon was just magical with all the decor and the view across the water. The inglesmead again was stunning with all the tables set and the centre pieces. The food for the wedding breakfast was amazing Nd service flawless. The introduction by Kerry introducing Mr & Mr Melville-Knight was something else. Our Wedding wasn't your typical wedding and everything was taken care of to the smallest detail ( even having tissues for us greeting going in). In short such an amazing place to have our special day.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day at Forbes of Kingennie. From start to finish, the whole day ran so smoothly and was everything we had hoped for.

The communication in the lead-up to the wedding was fantastic, with emails answered promptly and everything organised so well. The catering was excellent too, and we really appreciated how carefully our guests’ dietary requirements were catered for. We also loved staying in the lodges and relaxing in the hot tub the following day — it was the perfect way to unwind after such an amazing day.

But we have to give a very special mention to Kerry, our wedding coordinator, because her dedication went above and beyond anything we could have expected. Kerry was absolutely incredible. She was constantly checking in with us throughout the day to make sure everything was running smoothly, that we knew what was happening and that we were happy. She was always one step ahead and made us feel completely looked after, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding.

What really stood out to us was just how dedicated Kerry was. When someone called in sick, she didn’t hesitate to step in and stay on to man the Photo Booth herself. She had already done so much behind the scenes to make our day run perfectly, yet she still went above and beyond to make sure nothing was affected. That level of care and commitment meant so much to us.

Kerry was honestly the best person for the job, and we genuinely don’t think our wedding day would have been the same without her. She played such a huge part in making our day feel effortless, special and completely stress-free, and we will always be grateful to her for that.

We are so pleased we chose Forbes of Kingennie for our wedding and would wholeheartedly recommend it. The venue, the team and especially Kerry made our day incredibly special, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. ❤️

On Sunday 28th October 2018 I married my best friend at this amazing resort.
From the moment we walked in to Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort we knew this was the place we wanted to make our commitment to each other.
The events team made everything easy and listened with intent as we spoke about our ideas and dreams for our speacial day, absolutely nothing was too much trouble, the staff before and on the day were attentive and amazing, we could not have asked for anything else.
Thank you to Claire and her team. thank you to Bruce for guiding us through the whole ceremony and meal, thank you to the staff who served us all that day/night you will always hold a special place in our hearts

My husband(woohoo) and I had the most perfect day. The staff were delightful and so helpful. They really made the whole thing seamless. I would recommend Forbes to anyone whether it’s for a short stay or a wedding. Even just a meal! Absolutely fantastic, so many of our guests said it had been the best wedding they had been to.

Me and my husband got married at Forbes Of Kingennie in march 2017 . The venue was beautiful . The staff were lovely and friendly and did anything for you in order for the day to run smoothly . The lodges are gorgeous . And overall a brilliant venue .

Forbes of Kingennie have weddings down to a fine art. We didn't have t worry about anything on the day and everything went seamlessly. The staff were so friendly and we had a beautiful warm day to enjoy the grounds. There was a lovely mix of indoor and outdoor spaces to suit us.

Lovely venue. Lovely setting, Staff are so friendly and excellent. We had the wedding day of our dreams at Forbes of Kingennie. Simply wonderful and stunning throughout the whole weekend we stayed. Thanks again Kingennie team xxx
