We came to view Muckrach around a year and a half ago and knew straight away it was exactly what we wanted for your wedding. Fast forward to August 2025 we couldn’t have been happier with how our day and weekend went. We had the house and the lodges for a few days. All of our guests and suppliers were amazed with the venue. We absolutely loved having our wedding celebrations here and couldn’t have done it without the incredible help of the team and flexibility we were given. Donnie was incredible and made everything seem completely hassle free. If anyone is considering this as their venue we would highly recommend it! We can’t wait to hopefully come back one day.

We live locally and know the reputation of most of the properties who cater for weddings, so, when it came to us looking for somewhere we had a short list which included Bunchrew, Dalcross Castle, Drummossie and others. Culloden stood out a mile, the welcome approach, the smiles, the help that the owners gave us from start to finish was excellent. We had a problem with the number of bed rooms that we had to take, we were 5 rooms short but that wasnt a problem, gratifying to know that they actually cared and didnt just want our money like some we visited. Every one of our guests have commented on how good the hotel was, that made us feel fabulous to know that no-one had a problem on the day and that the food and service was excellent We have the most amazing photographs to relive the most amazing day of our lives and the hotel staff made it for us, we will never forget the Culloden House.

The venue was absolutely breathtaking, with elegant decor, perfect lighting, and a stunning dance floor that made us feel like we were floating on air. The staff went above and beyond to make every moment seamless—from arranging the sound system for our music to helping with every last detail. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful and well-organized everything was, and we’ll forever cherish the special memories made here. Harley and Shane made our wedding dance unforgettable, and we can’t thank them enough for making our dreams come true! Highly recommended for anyone wanting a touch of magic on their special day.”

The staff were fantastic, friendly & welcoming, and Sarah made sure everything ran smoothly which meant that we could truly relax and enjoy the party! The atmosphere was pure magic, with twinkling lights in the ceremony and dining room, and charming flagstone floors & cozy fireplaces in the bar area. To top it all off, the team went above and beyond to make space for us to set up beer pong, which added even more fun to the night. Additionally, the food was a huge highlight: Emma & the Ness Side Catering crew served a Fire-Pit BBQ menu for us, as well as a unique dessert spread, and our guests raved about it. The best part about this venue though is that once you're there, you're there fully able to enjoy the moment - no driving or shuffling guests from one location to another. Bogbain had everything, and from start to finish, Sarah and the team made the wedding seamless. Bogbain Farm was an unforgettable, fun, and completely stress-free experience and we had an absolute blast celebrating with our friends and family.
