Fantastic venue with professional staff, nothing is a bother with lots of help and advice. Very flexible possibilities are endless no set rules, It's your day to do as you wish with exclusive use of the venue. scenery is fantastic from the sea to the mountains and wildlife make the most special photos truly magical that touched the hearts of ours Guests. The weather did help as it was tropical. We used as many suppliers on the island as possible which the venue staff can help with. If you want somewhere different that's not your usual hotel venue with set routine this is your place , Just read the reviews on the website.

The Harbour Chapel is the most beautiful, enchanting and perfectly sized venue you could wish for. The chapel has been renovated perfectly with lots of touches from its past. The stained glass windows are breathtaking. Our first visit to the chapel was so emotional even standing looking up to the windows. We got married at the chapel in March 2025 and had only set the ball rolling with a phone call to Fiona in January when we found an available date. We live in Lancashire and have family around Dunbar so had seen the chapel on previous visits and knew this was the perfect place for our wedding. Victoria was absolutely brilliant and talked us through everything we needed from local celebrants, types of ceremonies, cake suppliers, flowers, photographers, music, drinks, food suppliers, bar snacks, local hotels etc which was a huge help and took all the stress away from what can be an overwhelming time. After a very emotional start to the wedding (I couldn’t stop crying) and the support from Fiona and Victoria - we had the perfect wedding with our 20 guests. The weather on the day was sunny and warm so we were able to walk across to the harbour for some great photographs and then back to the chapel for fizz, cake and nibbles. It’s just the perfect chapel for any size of gathering from elopements to larger groups. We were also able to include our 2 dogs which made our day even more special. We also picked our own play lists for each part of the ceremony. All I can say is …… you will have the most perfect wedding at the Harbour Chapel.

The perfect wedding? One where the bride turns to her mother when it’s all over and says ‘thank you for the best weekend ever!’ The sun shone, the piper enlivened the walk to the beach and the sheep joined in as the charming celebrant took the ceremony. The scenery was breath taking, the staff were superbly organised and attentive, the food outstanding in quality and presentation. Guests said it was the best wedding they’d attended: not only the children went in for a paddle… My daughter planned it all aided by the redoubtable Julie who even produced emergency plans when our marquee company burned down days before. Thankfully, wonderful Lowland Marquees saved the day. Crear Flowers’ magnificent blooms caused gasps as did the magical screen of fairy-lit silver birch trees around our bar area. Crear’s photographer was excellent and West Coast Motors safely transported our 140 guests to and from the venue. I can’t speak highly enough of Crear- a venue for individualistswho rejoice in nature and love cordon bleu food. Embrace Crear. She will reward you handsomely.
