Inside you will find spacious halls adorned with crystal chandeliers and cosy open fireplaces. Large windows allow each venue to flood with natural light. Stylish suites can be available for you and your wedding party to prepare for the day ahead. Up to 122 of your loved ones can witness your milestone event, with luxurious rooms available for overnight accommodation. With ample room for a dance floor and a seated meal both indoors and outdoors, the choice will be yours on where you would like to host your marital festivities. Throughout the grounds, couples and guests alike will find plenty of stunning photo opportunities. We cannot thank the team at Auchen and their vendor partners enough - from start to finish they were incredibly helpful, kind and professional. We had even planned our wedding day all the way from Canada (utilizing the 'all taken care of' package), during covid, and it still went off without a hitch! While the venue and grounds themselves are stunning, it's the team that made it what it is - from planning to day-of, it was definitely a world-class experience.
The food was absolutely delicious as well. Seeing as we and our guests were all visiting from another country, we chose our menu from the selections available to be as local as possible, and it did not disappoint! We still have people raving to us about the food (the best they'd ever had at a wedding)!
We would 100% recommend choosing to have your wedding at Auchen Castle, and hope to be back ourselves.

Before we were even engaged we knew we wanted to get married here so when we first visited we were so happy that it was as perfect as we wanted it to be.
We had the 'all taken care of' package and cannot recommend it enough, it took away a lot of the stress of wedding planning.
The actual wedding day, well weekend as most of us stayed at the castle Friday- Sunday was just absolutely perfect. The staff were so professional and made sure the day ran so smoothly. The venue speaks for itself, stunning, someone who saw a photo asked if it was a greenscreen because it looked too beautoful to be real. The food is some of the best food we've ever tasted. Reasonably priced drinks. Such a lovely, peaceful location.
The suppliers that the castle chose for us were all amazing, cannot fault any of them. Everything was just perfect.
Most of us travelled up from Manchester, some from Wales and London and even further, and people have already said how they will visit again when there is an event such as valentines day because people were so impressed with every aspect of the castle.
Let's not forget- has anywhere else ever offered you an owl as a ring bearer? Say no more!
Absolute perfection. Wish we could do it all over again to relive such a beautifully amazing day!!-

My now husband and I eloped here this past May. It was an amazing experience! Sarah was very responsive to all our emails. We came from another country and the time difference was 6 hours which made calling not really an option. But she was amazing! We got ready there and then had the ceremony and pictures. We also had the add on of an owl bringing the rings and it was amazing! We loved it! It was everything we could of ever dreamed of and if we could do it all again we wouldn’t have changed anything! -

Perfect elopement venue
Auchen Castle was the perfect elopement venue for us and our baby girl. We wanted something magical yet relaxed, and the team helped create the ideal day for us. The service was outstanding, from easy and flexible communications by email and phone, to striking the perfect balance of attentiveness yet plenty of space for privacy during our stay. The venue itself is very special and refurbishments are incredibly thoughtful and high quality, but for us the best bit was wandering the tranquil woodland and celebrating our day in the greenery. Our ceremony was held in the candlelit turret accessed through a secret door, and frankly remembering it is almost dreamlike! -

An absolutely amazing and magical place!
My wife and I chose to elope at Auchen in May and it was a fantastic experience! We’re both from the Chicago area in the US, so it became quite an adventure for the both of us. Where we’re from, an area noted for architecture and scenery, there is nothing quite like Auchen and the surrounding areas. From the very moment I spoke to Sarah, the general manager, it was a smooth and transparent experience. Due to the time difference, we weren’t able to call and work things out the same way we’d be able to stateside, but she was always, always incredibly responsive through email and truly wonderful. Her patience and tact are top tier. Not only that, but she was able to point me in the right direction for all of the necessary things that needed to be taken care of, from documents, recommending photographers, to those able to do makeup and hair for my wife. After all, getting married in another country is quite a process and her knowledge was absolutely invaluable to us. We’re so incredibly thankful for the staff there and I’m so happy we stumbled across this place. Thank you for making our day perfect for us. I’ll be repeating this whole experience for the rest of my life and I’m so glad you guys are an important part of the story. Again, thank you so much for everything! We’ll never, ever forget everything you did for us. -

Best day ever
We got married here on the 7th May 2022. I can honestly say it was the best weekend of my life, from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure we were happy and did every bit of decorating for us, I brought a lot of stuff to put up such as easels for signs and flowers/garlands to go on everything along with favours and some table extras soon as they say all the staff they took it straight away and I didn’t have to lift a finger. We paid for a meal for the Friday evening for our guests staying in the castle. We had steak pie and the veg pasta it was actually one of the nicest meals I’ve ever ate most people went back for seconds it was so nice. Saturday (the wedding day) was perfect everything went to plan and everything looked perfect I honestly can’t thank Sarah and the team enough for making our whole weekend so special I can’t wait to go back for one of their occasions possibly the valentines one. Breakfast was also included both mornings and that was also amazing. I honestly wish I could do the full weekend over again. We had actually planned to be married in 2021 but had to postpone due to covid and the castle honoured our pricing even though we moved it a full year later which was great considering I know other venues had been adding extra on for others postponing. Sarah kept in touch from the moment we booked was happy to answer any emails or any phone quires I had and believe me I asked a lot of questions. Thank you all so much.-
