We had a weekend summer wedding at Errol Park, and it was everything we wanted. Errol was the first venue we viewed and we instantly fell in love with it. The perfect mix of Bridgerton or Austenite quiet luxury with vast outdoor space, panoramic views, and a party zone (The Stables) for night time. Colin, the venue coordinator, was super accessible, relaxed, and obviously experienced - you felt in very safe hands, which is a welcome feeling during wedding planning chaos! It was really important to us that we could have our parents and bridal party onsite with us, so renting the venue for two nights was a dream. The huge kitchen space meant we could host those staying in the house for a pizza party the night before the big day. A few months before the wedding, the newly finished West Wing opened, and we were able to update our booking to include that space for the groomsmen to stay and get ready in, making for some amazing photos. There are also some massive rooms, which our friends with babies could stay in, so they could set up cradles, and modern rooms with step-free access and showers for our elderly relatives. Our wedding was very much our own, with handmade decorations and bunting, doing our own flowers the day before, the groom DJing, and a bit of a school disco vibe in the evening - the Errol team didn’t bat an eyelid. We felt so welcomed by Colin and his team, and couldn’t be more grateful that we had our dream day in such a place. We had our wedding in August at Megginch Castle and I can’t recommend the team enough. The location is absolutely stunning and everything was beautiful for our arrival. Giles and Catherine were wonderful and friendly from the first moment we met them and we really felt they and Jan were very invested in our day and made us feel very special. At a lot of other venues we felt like we were just another number in the production line but not here. Getting to spend time at their beautiful home was wonderful and getting to know everyone was so lovely. Everything was made so easy over the planning period and we knew we were always welcome. Jan was on hand with lots of good advice whenever we needed it as well! On the day the weather was not as planned and we had to get married inside, the whole team was so accommodating including being on hand for any last minute weather changes. The drawing room ended up being a stunning location and I loved that we were married in there and a family member could play me down the aisle on the piano. The grounds and ballroom are similarly beautiful and make a gorgeous backdrop. There are also so many locations for photos you’ll be spoiled for choice! I cannot recommend Megginch enough, the beautiful venue speaks for itself but the hospitality and care from Giles, Catherine and Jan made the whole experience exemplary and I cannot imagine us getting married elsewhere, or having a better day or experience anywhere else. Our wedding at Blair Castle on 20th July 2024 was absolutely amazing! The team were brilliant from start to finish. Karen was really helpful and responsive throughout and Lesley who coordinated on the day was amazing, you could tell she really cared about making our day special and it really was! The location is amazing and we also loved the lodges that we and some of our guests stayed in, which were on the estate. Everything went so smoothly and all our guests had a great time. I would highly recommend Bliar Castle as a place to have your wedding!

We had our wedding at Culdees Castle, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The beautiful woodland setting created the most magical, rustic, fairytale atmosphere for our outdoor ceremony. Tracey and Rob were absolutely wonderful — so warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our day everything we dreamed of. They went above and beyond to help us realise our vision, even accommodating last-minute changes with ease. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we’re so grateful to have celebrated such a special day in such an incredible place.

We had our wedding ceremony at Forgandenny Church, followed by an amazing reception at Rossie on the Earn. It is a really special venue and we knew as soon as we had visited that is was exactly what we were looking for. We had family travelling from all over the UK and overseas, and the location was ideal for us. The three main spaces really give you the flexibility to make it your own. This is so much more than a DIY venue - the furniture, lighting, equipment etc that is all included make this a stylish space before you've even added your own decor, meaning you can add as little or as much as you want. The versatile spaces meant that we had plenty of space for guests to mingle inside on a blustery Scottish spring day, and the cosy atmosphere in the old byre with the log fire was magical. Having the farmhouse next door was so convenient for setup, getting ready and for family members with small children. The Rossie team were fantastic and Scott made sure that everything ran smoothly during setup and on the day. (We had amazing food provided by Wild Rover Food, coffee from Roam Coffee, flowers by Cordon Farm Flowers, Drams Ceilidh band and our photos were by Sara Jane Ferguson Photography)

My husband and I got married at Dunblane hydro on 04.05.2024 and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. The first time we saw the hydro we knew straight away that was the place we wanted to get married. Our day couldn’t have been possible without the Hydros wedding coordinator, Morag, who made the entire process so easy for us and was always in contact with us through email and quick to answer any and all of our many questions, even meeting with us in person when we got a bit stressed with the impending day. The day itself went so well without any hiccups, at least none that we were aware of! We had Roisin with us throughout the day who was amazing, she made sure the day went smooth and that we didn’t need anything, plus had a plate of canapés left aside for us to make sure we got some after our photos (which with the hydros grounds, are stunning). The rest of the evening was phenomenal with all our guests commenting on how amazing it was and how stunning the venue was too. We very much look forward to going back to Dunblane Hydro in the future.

I couldn't recommend Dunkeld House Hotel more as a wedding venue. From our very first visit and tour, to food and wine tasting and finally the actual wedding day everyone at Dunkeld were absolutely amazing and helped us in every possible way they could. Natasha was the most amazing coordinator we could have ever asked for, entertained everyone of our ideas, was available in person and via Zoom calls whenever we needed. She was the perfect mix of kind, funny, professional and serious you need to manage the most important day in peoples lives. The whole day went perfectly and we did so little as the Dunkeld team handled everything so perfectly. Natasha, Callum and Nell on the day were amazing running around sorting, organising and ensuring everyone was where they should be and again always happy to help with a smile and a laugh. Maisie and Katie behind the bar added to the amazing night, and were lovely throughout the night and even chased down weird drink requests from the main hotel when asked. If you are considering getting married at Dunkeld, and the beautiful hotel and location for some reason aren't enough, then please be aware the whole team will make it the best day ever. I can't thank everyone enough for what they created for us. But you have made fans for life in us and I look forward to our many visits in the future. Thank you Sam Powell-Folley

Our wedding at Atholl Palace was an absolute dream come true! Every detail was perfect, and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. A special thank-you to Catherine — you were truly amazing! From the very first meeting to the last dance, you made everything run so smoothly. Your organization, kindness, and calm energy let us truly relax and enjoy every moment. We couldn’t have asked for a better place or team to celebrate our wedding!

I cannot emphasise enough how much we loved getting married at Murthly Castle! Thomas and Callum were both incredibly accommodating for all our needs and helped make our special day even more special. They even took care of the tiniest little details (like raking the gravel and clearing the leaves), things we might not even have noticed but just made everything all the more perfect. Literally every single guest told us how beautiful the chapel, house and gardens were, and we can't help but agree. We went to visit in the rain and loved it; our wedding day was sunny and we loved it. The house is incredibly beautiful inside and out. The chapel is truly special. We had the most wonderful day at Murthly Castle and we were honestly a bit sad having to leave. It's such a special place, such great value for money and you honestly could not choose a better wedding venue.

My wife and I had the best ceremony we could imagine here. Everything went to plan, the venue itself is stunning and having the ability to spend the night there was certainly exhilarating. The team with Cameron and Emmi are kind, accomodating, and great to chat with. We'd highly recommend this venue and staying the night before and after, to really see all the grounds has to offer.
