Dunglass Wedding Estate is a truly stunning venue, offering a perfect blend of historic charm and beautiful coastal scenery, with picturesque surroundings. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. Their professionalism and warm approach made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.

Sorry this has taken so long to write, but we found it difficult to put into words just how grateful we are to the Dunglass & Platter and Pop team for making our day so enjoyable. As someone who is a constant worrier and overthinker, I was able to completely relax and enjoy the day, knowing that we - along with all of our guests - were so well looked after. We truly felt like the guests of honour.

Communication during the build up to the day was great and once we arrived on site nothing was too much trouble for the team. Even when the wrong type of disco ball arrived during setup the day before, they sprang into action, disassembled it, and hung it from the ceiling to perfectly fit my vision. Everything ran so smoothly on the day itself and even the day after. All of the decor we brought with us was neatly packed away and placed in a holding room, making it easy for us to sort through and pack into our cars the next morning - something our sore heads were very thankful for!

Honestly, if you are considering this venue, go for it - you won’t regret it. I cannot recommend this venue (and Platter and Pop) highly enough. Our guests are still bringing up and talking about how amazing the wedding was five months later!

We had the most incredible wedding day at Dunglass Estate, and we honestly couldn’t have wished for a better venue. From the moment we arrived, everything about the estate felt special the setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds and so unique!

The team at Dunglass were fantastic from start to finish. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly organised (especially Kirsty), which meant we could fully relax and enjoy our day knowing everything was in safe hands. The day ran so smoothly, and nothing ever felt rushed or stressful. We also stayed an extra night in the honeymoon treehouse the evening after our wedding and couldn’t recommend this highly enough so you can have time to really take the whole day in.

Our guests all loved the venue and couldn’t have enough kind words to say about the Dunglass team. Every part of the day, from the ceremony to the celebrations afterwards, felt as perfect as we hoped for. We truly loved every moment and will cherish the memories forever.

We originally planned our wedding for April 2026 but due to a change in circumstances, had to push the date to December 2026. Dunglass were absolutely wonderful about changing the date and gave us lots of options.

Then as we neared the end of 2025, we actually realised we didn’t want to wait another year and so contacted Dunglass to see if we could change the arrangements to a secret elopement in December 2025. This gave them about 5 weeks notice. Again, they couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating in changing the booking. Some of our booked suppliers were not as accommodating so Dunglass really stood out for how great they were!

Elopements don’t happen often at Dunglass and we did feel with a few small extra touches on the day, it could have been even more magical but overall we had the perfect day we’d hoped for and Marie in particular was amazing at making us feel welcome and special.

My wife and I got married at Dunglass in June 2025 and it was the best weekend ever!! We attended a couple of open days at the venue and were blown away with the stunning location and all the great suppliers who have collaborated with the venue over the years! We booked our date in 2023 and any questions we had along the way were answered and helpful tips offered. We had Kirsty looking after us on the day and she was brilliant! Kept everything running smoothly in the background that we were able to just enjoy the day and be in the moment💚 thank you again so much to all the team at Dunglass!!

We had the time of our lives at Dunglass. The church and venue are absolutely stunning and the team treated us with such kindness and professionalism that we don't even know how to begin putting it into words. No job was too small for Kirsty and Marie - they did everything in their power to ensure our day ran like clockwork, from providing incredible recommendations for suppliers, to organising airport pickups for all of our overseas guests, to helping to pin on our 2-year old nephew's buttonhole. We are beyond grateful. If we could give them 6 stars we would! If you are thinking of booking Dunglass for your wedding, don't hesitate - go for it, you won't regret it!

My husband and I visited Dunglass during an event back in April 2025 and as soon as we parked, we fell in love with their breathtaking setting! Although it was very busy on the day, we were quickly contacted by Kirsty after the event who offered us a date for October 2025 with an attractive quote for an intimate wedding. The Dunglass Team was very responsive and answered to all our questions before we finalised our booking and carried on doing so until our wedding day. We were planning our wedding from France within less than 5 months but they were incredibly helpful, providing us with an amazing list of suppliers. We chose to welcome our guests with pigeon shooting the day before and then organise an Italian dinner in the stables. The whole coordination for the two days was flawless, both Mary and Carmen were so lovely, even trying to speak French with my family who doesn't speak a word of English! We didn't have to worry about anything, we just enjoyed every minute of our special day. The accommodation onsite is also beautiful and very comfortable! All our guests were blown away by the place. We would 1000% recommend this venue, we honestly couldn't have dreamt of a better place to get married! We hope we will be able to revisit in the future for our anniversary.

We had the wedding day of our dreams in October 2025 and so much of that was down to the incredible team at dunglass.

In the entire planning process since booking our day over 2 years ago, nothing was too much of an ask, all communication was seamless and Kirsty went over and above to ensure we were happy with everything and the timings of the day were as we would like. On the lead up, Carmen was supportive, knowledgeable and again made sure our day ran so smoothly.

We truly had the best day of our lives and cannot thank the team enough. Iain was fantastic at night, spoke to guests and gave lifts to seaview and the treehouse with the music still on and made us feel so welcomed at the estate.


Our family and friends felt welcomed at the estate and have all been commenting on how beautiful the space is, and how attentive staff are. From getting our guests hot water bottles in the church, grabbing my veil as it flew off, to helping light sparklers at night time, the whole team went over and above for us. We are so thankful, and could not recommend dunglass enough. What the team have created there is something truly special and we had a day we will treasure forever. Dunglass estate has thought of every last detail that couples and guests could ever need, we felt that our day was completely flawless and are so grateful to the team for making it happen! The accommodation was perfect and everyone felt at home there.

Dunglass was the first and only wedding venue we visited as we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. Would give 10 stars if we could!

How to even begin?!
We had Dunglass on our radar pre even being engaged as we had seen some cracking photos on social media, so it was a no brainer to book to view this venue once we were planning our own wedding. And wow, we were blown away from the get go - there’s no words to quite describe walking through the gothic church for the first time. We booked without any hesitation, the accommodation on site is the best we have also experienced (and we have been bridesmaids/groomsmen 10+ times so visited a lot of venues!), and the team were so friendly.
Throughout the lead up to wedding, the team stayed in touch and gave us updates throughout and from the 6 month countdown mark we had in person meetings and phone calls to run through all queries.
From arrival at the venue the day before the team looked after us, helped us with little bits we needed and this continued on into the wedding day.
The team almost go undetected, which shows how much of a seamless process it is and they are very slick at what they do - which is exactly what we were after. There was no chaos and they created a very calm transition throughout the day.

We are so sad it’s all over, and I would give anything to do it all again! But another bonus of Dunglass is that you can book to stay there for other occasions, which we will 100% be doing in the future once out the blues ha.

The grounds are stunning; a perfect mix of historic charm and natural beauty. The setting felt like a hidden gem, with the old church ruins and sea views adding real character without needing much added decoration.
But what really stood out was the team behind the scenes. Every part of the day ran smoothly, but never felt rigid or over-managed. A huge thank you to Kirsty and Ian, who were both fantastic throughout. Kirsty was calm, thoughtful, and always a step ahead.

We can not recommend Dunglass estate enough.
We had our wedding here on the 16th August this year and honestly it was just perfect!
Our day could not have been any better, we absolutely loved the venue from the first day we seen it, but it so delivered on the day. It is just a unique but STUNNING venue all of our guests couldn’t get over it. We love that you can totally make it your own so that your wedding is unique to you, but the bones of the venue are just breathtaking that you really don’t need to do much too it.

We attended an open day at Dunglass in March 2023 and booked our wedding the same day, despite not having viewed anywhere else! The combination of the atmospheric church, lovely accommodation (sleeps up to 28) and stunning courtyard made it a no brainier for us.
