We had the wedding day of our dreams in October 2025 and so much of that was down to the incredible team at dunglass.

In the entire planning process since booking our day over 2 years ago, nothing was too much of an ask, all communication was seamless and Kirsty went over and above to ensure we were happy with everything and the timings of the day were as we would like. On the lead up, Carmen was supportive, knowledgeable and again made sure our day ran so smoothly.

We truly had the best day of our lives and cannot thank the team enough. Iain was fantastic at night, spoke to guests and gave lifts to seaview and the treehouse with the music still on and made us feel so welcomed at the estate.


Our family and friends felt welcomed at the estate and have all been commenting on how beautiful the space is, and how attentive staff are. From getting our guests hot water bottles in the church, grabbing my veil as it flew off, to helping light sparklers at night time, the whole team went over and above for us. We are so thankful, and could not recommend dunglass enough. What the team have created there is something truly special and we had a day we will treasure forever. Dunglass estate has thought of every last detail that couples and guests could ever need, we felt that our day was completely flawless and are so grateful to the team for making it happen! The accommodation was perfect and everyone felt at home there.

Dunglass was the first and only wedding venue we visited as we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it. Would give 10 stars if we could!

How to even begin?!
We had Dunglass on our radar pre even being engaged as we had seen some cracking photos on social media, so it was a no brainer to book to view this venue once we were planning our own wedding. And wow, we were blown away from the get go - there’s no words to quite describe walking through the gothic church for the first time. We booked without any hesitation, the accommodation on site is the best we have also experienced (and we have been bridesmaids/groomsmen 10+ times so visited a lot of venues!), and the team were so friendly.
Throughout the lead up to wedding, the team stayed in touch and gave us updates throughout and from the 6 month countdown mark we had in person meetings and phone calls to run through all queries.
From arrival at the venue the day before the team looked after us, helped us with little bits we needed and this continued on into the wedding day.
The team almost go undetected, which shows how much of a seamless process it is and they are very slick at what they do - which is exactly what we were after. There was no chaos and they created a very calm transition throughout the day.

We are so sad it’s all over, and I would give anything to do it all again! But another bonus of Dunglass is that you can book to stay there for other occasions, which we will 100% be doing in the future once out the blues ha.

From the very beginning of planning through to the day itself, the team at Dunglass were absolutely incredible. Every single one of them greeted us and our guests with the happiest, friendliest smiles and the most calming energy. So many of our guests commented on how magical the venue felt and how wonderful the team were, it truly added to the atmosphere and made everyone feel so welcome.

The grounds are stunning; a perfect mix of historic charm and natural beauty. The setting felt like a hidden gem, with the old church ruins and sea views adding real character without needing much added decoration.
But what really stood out was the team behind the scenes. Every part of the day ran smoothly, but never felt rigid or over-managed. A huge thank you to Kirsty and Ian, who were both fantastic throughout. Kirsty was calm, thoughtful, and always a step ahead.

Honestly where to start,
We can not recommend Dunglass estate enough.
We had our wedding here on the 16th August this year and honestly it was just perfect!
Our day could not have been any better, we absolutely loved the venue from the first day we seen it, but it so delivered on the day. It is just a unique but STUNNING venue all of our guests couldn’t get over it. We love that you can totally make it your own so that your wedding is unique to you, but the bones of the venue are just breathtaking that you really don’t need to do much too it.

We attended an open day at Dunglass in March 2023 and booked our wedding the same day, despite not having viewed anywhere else! The combination of the atmospheric church, lovely accommodation (sleeps up to 28) and stunning courtyard made it a no brainier for us. All the staff we dealt with were so responsive and helpful and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. We would not hesitate to recommend Dunglass as a venue for anyone looking for a perfect wedding!

From the very beginning, the service was top-quality—everything was so well organised, which took a huge weight off our shoulders.

The staff (Kirsty looked after us) struck a perfect balance between being friendly and professional and every detail was meticulously managed. Their flexibility and accommodating nature were evident before, during, and even after our big day, which made everything flow seamlessly.

Communication was outstanding throughout the planning process. Any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly, and they did everything possible to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted.

I cannot recommend this venue enough to anyone currently planning their wedding day. Not only is the estate absolutely stunning and the perfect backdrop, the staff are also incredible. Kirsty was the manager in charge of our big day and she made everything run seamlessly, stress free, and nothing was too much bother. She made the day completely tailored to how we envisioned it. The team are very quick to respond to emails also which made planning very easy. Can’t thank her and the other staff on the estate enough.
The accommodation on site is also gorgeous and I would definitely recommend hiring out the estate for the full weekend and making use of the outdoor BBQ area both the night before and day after. 5 stars!

Dunglass is the most perfect wedding venue. From start to end it was just magical. Thank you so much to Kirsty and Carmen for making it so special for us. You are both the perfect level of professional and chilled which is the best combo. You made us feel so much at ease. I also want to thank the night manager but I missed his name but he was so lovely and again made our evening so perfect! Our accommodation was amazing and everything was so spotless and clean. The team was seamless and so helpful throughout the planning out our special day. Our family and friends had the best weekend and have been raving about Dunglass estate since saying how beautiful the venue was. It was more than we could ever of wished for. We had Kirsty allocated to our day and who helped us plan our special day and she was absolutely amazing! Every area of Dunglass is perfect. Getting married in the chapel was just unreal. Thankfully the weather was lovely so we could enjoy canapés etc at the courtyard who cu all out guest said was so lovely and such a chilled atmosphere. We highly recommend dunglass and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding at Dunglass! We planned our destination wedding from overseas without ever seeing the venue until our arrival! We knew from pictures it was going to be a special place but we couldn’t have ever predicted how magical it would be in person! Kirsty and Marie did exceptionally well helping us plan from afar and the day itself would not have been as peaceful and special without Kirsty’s assistance and support! Carmen and her owls were a huge hit and she was also so helpful with her assistance during our events, as well! Our guests were spoiled with the accommodations on the stunning estate and the church itself is even more magnificent in person, pictures just cannot capture how spectacular it truly is! We got married on 5th April at Dunglass and it was everything that we were hoping for and more. Dunglass Collegiate Church was the most beautiful setting with all of the spring buds and daffodils, it was the perfect setting, our guests were absolutely blown away and were full of compliments about how magical it was.

All the staff were fantastic but in particular Kirsty Morris helped us always feel like everything was well under control in the build-up to the event and and things running smoothly on the day, she had everything under control from start to finish, and is just a generally lovely person to be around on your big day! We are extremely grateful to her for everything and could not recommend her more highly. The evening manager Iain was brilliant too as well as being an absolute hoot - thank you Iain, Kirsty and everyone else involved in making our day so perfect.

All the suppliers we found through Dunglass were of similarly high quality and great to work with (Platter&Pop, Claire Watt celebrant, One Shot Films videographer). Can't recommend this venue enough, plus hanging out in the morning at the Treehouse in the hot tub watching the alpacas is a fine start to married life!!

We had the best day of our lives getting married at Dunglass Estate back in May, 2025. The venue is beautiful and the Events Manager made sure our day ran perfectly. They were so helpful all through the planning process and thought of everything, we felt in very safe hands.
The venue itself is impeccable and we loved being able to stay over the night before with our family and friends, we had a bbq in their covered bbq area with views of the sea!
We got lots of beautiful photos and videos around the grounds, though we couldn’t access the greenhouse and walled garden due to maintenance which we were really hoping to do as it’s stunning, but we had endless other options on site!
We couldn’t recommend Dunglass Estate more, great venue and team that will make your day even more special!
