We had a weekend summer wedding at Errol Park, and it was everything we wanted. Errol was the first venue we viewed and we instantly fell in love with it. The perfect mix of Bridgerton or Austenite quiet luxury with vast outdoor space, panoramic views, and a party zone (The Stables) for night time. Colin, the venue coordinator, was super accessible, relaxed, and obviously experienced - you felt in very safe hands, which is a welcome feeling during wedding planning chaos! It was really important to us that we could have our parents and bridal party onsite with us, so renting the venue for two nights was a dream. The huge kitchen space meant we could host those staying in the house for a pizza party the night before the big day. A few months before the wedding, the newly finished West Wing opened, and we were able to update our booking to include that space for the groomsmen to stay and get ready in, making for some amazing photos. There are also some massive rooms, which our friends with babies could stay in, so they could set up cradles, and modern rooms with step-free access and showers for our elderly relatives. Our wedding was very much our own, with handmade decorations and bunting, doing our own flowers the day before, the groom DJing, and a bit of a school disco vibe in the evening - the Errol team didn’t bat an eyelid. We felt so welcomed by Colin and his team, and couldn’t be more grateful that we had our dream day in such a place. We don’t even know where to start in being able to thank the whole team at Hopetoun House in being a part of our most amazing wedding on Saturday! From the very first time we visited and were wowed driving up to the house, our whole experience of the venue and the people has been first class!! Working with Clare, Angela, Donald, Piers and the Hopetoun and Heritage teams has been professional, yet so very personal and we can not thank you all enough! Everything on our most special day ran like clockwork and the teams worked so hard to make sure ourselves and all of our guests had the best day ever! Hopetoun House as our wedding venue brought history, beauty, and the wow factor all together and combining these with the impeccable staff and service, gave us a wedding day that neither ourselves or our guests will ever forget! We recently had our wedding here and it was brilliant! The staff are amazing not just on the day but in the months running up to the wedding. As we live in England we had to do most of the arrangements over the phone or email and Alison and the rest of the guys always got back to us quick and were so helpful even helping us with recommendations with dj's and photographers. A lot of our guests came from England also so we had booked out most of the accommodation and it was all excellent! The house itself is beautiful and on the day of our wedding the staff were always on hand for anything we needed. They really were there all day from when we got up until we went to bed. Also the food was amazing!!! So yummy!! I could go on all day about how great the Inglewood is and how amazing the staff are.......if you're thinking about having your wedding here book it!! You won't regret it! AMAZING venue! AMAZING food! AMAZING staff!! We had the day of our dreams here! Can't wait to stay here again!

My partner and I recently celebrated our wedding at Cambo Estate and couldn’t be more grateful to the estate and its wonderful team. Our guests haven’t stopped raving about how gorgeous, cosy, inspiring, and fun the property is. From the café and gardens to the woodland trails, seaside, and hidden corners of the grounds, everything was truly stunning. Having the house entirely to ourselves for the weekend - and the freedom to shape the events exactly as we wanted - made the whole experience feel personal and magical. The estate offers so many inviting spaces for guests to gather, play games, chat, and simply relax. And the lack of a curfew throughout most of the house added an extra sense of joy and spontaneity. Joanne and her team went above and beyond in helping us and our vendors pull together a weekend full of moving pieces. They coordinated everything from a movie-night projector to microphones for speeches, rented glassware, arranged bartenders for both the wedding and a whisky tasting, set up event spaces with custom lighting, provided a sound system, kept fireplaces going, and even supplied wood for s’mores. As this was a destination wedding for us and most of our guests, Cambo’s organization was a huge relief. Their attention to detail shone through in every Zoom call and throughout the weekend. The personalized door signs, stocked restrooms, welcome guides, printed maps, and countless thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. Joanne and her team were always available, kind, clear, quick to respond, and genuinely enthusiastic. We can’t recommend Newhall Estate highly enough as a wedding venue. Jak & Yvonne (& the wider Newhall staff) went over and above to ensure we had the perfect wedding weekend from the first email we sent to the moment we checked out after our 3 day event. The communication in the 18 months in between was second to none. We fell in love with Newhall as soon as we saw it and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding venue they’d ever been to. A true hidden gem that gave us everything we dreamed our wedding would be with everything on site and lots of different areas to make your day unique and make the most of the stunning grounds. A picturesque granary room, a beautiful open conservatory sunroom, a big open and spacious coach house with a fantastic house and cottages on site where 40 guests can stay, each in their own uniquely & stunningly decorated living space. The huge grounds of Newhall provide the most idyllic photo opportunities and we can’t wait to see ours. The staff are what tops everything off as nothing was a bother and you couldn’t ask for a more helpful and friendly bunch of people to spend your wedding with. They felt more like friends to us in their lovely and calming presence and ongoing banter whilst maintaining the professionalism to ensure the wedding ran smoothly. They had every eventuality covered so we knew if anything went wrong, we had absolute confidence that they’d know how to fix it. We had the wedding of our dreams at Newhall and we can’t thank the dream team and the beautiful grounds enough.

Absolutely amazing staff and such a beautiful place inside and out would do all over again if I could money was worth spending . Good contact from when I booked and right up to the day of my wedding . Nicholas was so helpful letting me do the room in to how ever I wanted along side helping definitely would recommend for special occasions

Thank you very much for all you did to make our Wedding day so perfect; it really was a fairytale come true. We hope to return to beautiful Traquair House for our anniversary.

We cannot recommend Oswald House highly enough. From the moment we started planning to the final goodbye the morning after, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and genuine warmth. Having viewed several other venues, we can confidently say that Oswald offers a far superior experience—not only in service and setting, but also in value for money. Communication & Planning Amy was absolutely superb. Her communication gave us complete peace of mind throughout the planning process. Every detail was carefully discussed and confirmed—arrival music, background playlists, furniture layout, timings, drinks service, food preferences, and even provisions for our other vendors. She made sure nothing was overlooked. Personal Touches & Flexibility Oswald House went above and beyond to make our day uniquely ours. They sourced specific wines and non-alcoholic beers we wanted, accommodated our décor preferences with a wide range of table covers and seating options, and even took in advance items like our guest boxes and postbox. We also had a “secret mission” game planned for the children, and they handled it all seamlessly. The Venue & Atmosphere The Georgian mansion and its stunning grounds were the perfect backdrop—elegant yet relaxed. Whether you’re hosting a small or large gathering, the venue adapts beautifully. We had two long dining tables set up in the ballroom, which looked incredibly refined. The Garden Room was also beautifully arranged with a mix of sofas by the fire and seated tables, creating a cozy and sociable space separate from the main dining area. We also had the option to use the conservatory, which was lovely to have as a backup or breakout space. The bar area was excellent—not only a great space for drinks and mingling, but also where our photographer set up a fun photo booth station that guests absolutely loved. The entrance hall, with its grand layout and spectacular open fire, naturally became the hub of socialising throughout the day and evening. The whole house felt like ours for the weekend, and it lent itself perfectly to an atmosphere that was welcoming, elegant, and full of joy. On the Day Experience The team made sure everything ran perfectly. Our favours were thoughtfully placed, and the staff ensured every guest received the right meal without needing to remember their choices. The canapés were a hit, the meal itself was exceptional, and the evening chippie and pots were a huge success. The sweetie station, even months later, is still being talked about! Guest & Vendor Care Guests raved about their rooms, the helpfulness of the staff, and the overall atmosphere. It truly felt like having the whole house to ourselves. Oswald made everyone feel at home. They also looked after all of our vendors and, by the time we were ready to leave the next day, had packed everything up for us neatly. The breakfast served to all our guests the next morning was incredible and such a lovely final touch. Final Thoughts Oswald House didn’t just host our wedding—they made it. Every detail was handled with care and heart. If you're looking for a venue that combines elegance with warmth, flexibility with professionalism, and beauty with comfort, this is the one. We are so grateful to the team at Oswald. Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more.

We had the best wedding day at Cameron house. The team were so helpful from start to finish and made the day seamless. The outdoor setting is gorgeous as is the hotel itself and the bedrooms for our guests were lovely.

We are so glad that we chose Cromlix for our wedding. The chapel is ideal and our meal was beautifully cooked and served in the lovely Drawing Room. But what really makes Cromlix ideal is the staff. Rosie and the others on the Events Team were so helpful, friendly and efficient both before and during the day itself. At our meal David, who was in charge, and all the servers were enthusiastic and so efficient. Indeed, we have nothing but praise for all the staff. Our guests, including those who stayed the night and loved the experience, were highly complimentary about Cromlix. An ideal wedding venue!
