Welcome to The Room in the Rodings

The Room in the Rodings is a lovely venue which is ideal for weddings with 60-70 day guests and 100-130 in the evenings. The venue is located in the small village of Beauchamp Roding and surrounded by open countryside and panoramic views across neighbouring fields. Although rural, it is easily accessible by road from Chelmsford, Dunmow, Harlow and Bishop's Stortford as well as being only a 25 minute drive from Stansted and the M11.

Wedding ceremonies are conducted in the elegant Ceremony Room which can seat 60 guests, though we can have up to 100 guests with a combination of seated and standing. Adjoining the Ceremony Room is the tastefully decorated and spacious Dining Room. The maximum capacity is 120 seated guests and up to 200 for an evening buffet or party. Outside there is an attractive seating area with tables and chairs plus an enclosed grass area and a large field for any outdoor games and activities.

Hirers may provide their own wine, champagne, prosecco and soft drinks for the reception and wedding breakfast and there is no corkage charge. Any suppliers of your choice are permitted, including caterers; giving flexibility to allow to create the wedding you envision. You will have help and guidance along the way, should you need it.
