We got married here in October 2025, and we couldn't have been happier to have chosen this venue. From start to finish the team were fantastic, communication was great, they made the planning process so straightforward and stress free.
They were on hand to make sure our wedding day went perfectly (and it really was perfect!), I would book this venue time and time again, we couldn't recommend them enough.
The price point is well aligned with everything that was included, and they were happy to tailor drinks packages/accommodate an open bar for us as well.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue as a whole. The staff are professional, friendly and compassionate, respond to our correspondence promptly and effectively. They go out of their way to help and they are keen to ensure your day is tailored to you, not just to make this budget friendly, but decoration and organising to day for you. Our wedding day went so smoothly and have absolutely no complaints about anything and everything went well. The venue itself is beautiful, intimate and natural. I love the fact that evening and day time guests can celebrate in one space and not split up into two rooms for dancing and seating. The outdoor space is natural and quiet and there is plenty of spaces to take a breather when the time is right, inside and outside, particularly took a liking to the fireplaces. There are plenty of places to put your personal touches, believe me, we had quite a lot to find places for, and the venue did an amazing job at placing these in the best locations that they thought worked the most to the venue and guests. The venue is wheelchair accessible which made all the difference to accessibility for family members and in general, the space is, in my opinion, the best in terms of layout. Personally, I could not have asked for more and it was the most magical day of our lives and could not have asked for more. Thank you.

We got married at the compasses in August and it was the most incredible experience from start to finish. Every step of the way we felt like we were in good hands and they day was beautiful. 100% recommend!!

We had our wedding at the compasses and it was exactly how I wanted it, everyone working there was so supportive, I didn’t feel I needed to stress and it all went so smoothly. Couldn’t of wished to have our wedding at a better place!

The compasses are ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, from start to finish (and even after) The compasses at pattiswick have gone above and beyond to ensure we have the most amazing day and we absolutely did!
The venue itself is stunning, a beautiful rustic countryside vibe, with wooden beams and open fireplaces, beautiful greenery inside and out, even a kids play area too.
The bridal room for getting ready has all the modern amenities you could need with plenty of space. Loved the two way mirror extra which was especially fun to see all the guests and groomsmen to arrive. The aisle, wow, we cried when we first saw it and knew it was perfect for us, I have no words for how perfect this venue is.

Our day run SO smooth thanks to Charlaine, Della and the team. They are the most wonderful people you could meet, they are professional but with a personal touch even building a friendly relationship with our children (Tommy wiggle bum will always be remembered) Charlaine and Della looked after us as family would and not just another wedding booking, I always felt relaxed around them and always came away smiling with laughter.
I have so much love for Charlaine and Della and look forward to seeing them again for our 1st anniversary meal at the compasses.
I was nervous as many brides are on the leadup, but honestly there was no need to be whatsoever. There was nothing the team couldn’t handle. No silly requests or questions. We also found their instagram page to be really inspiring with so many different styles they can cater for and real life weddings they have previously done along with all their open days and recommended suppliers.

I will be forever thankful to EVERYONE at the compasses for giving us the most perfect day we could have ever wished for. Charlaine and Della, you are honestly diamonds and will hold a special place in all our hearts forever

From the very first meet both myself and my wife found every interaction with the staff at the venue very personalised and our wishes and needs centred on making the day as special as possible. We were gently guided with options as we discussed our needs.

Getting married is never cheap and we both felt that the venue offered value for money especially with the service and facilities offered on the day.

Our only criticism is with the air conditioning at the venue which is inadequate considering most weddings are held during the summer months. Certainly something which needs addressing as once the venue is full it becomes a hot box. Equally with strict noise control measures no windows could be left open whilst the disco was in play.

Overall a positive experience and a thank you for making it a lovely day.
