A dream wedding venue!
An Unforgettable Day, Thanks to Kings Oak
We are so incredibly grateful to the entire team at for making our wedding day an absolute dream come true. From the very beginning, their professionalism and dedication were outstanding. The team worked tirelessly to bring our vision to life, and their hard work truly paid off. The venue was stunning and felt like a fairytale.
One of the best things about Kings Oak is that it is so beautifully decorated and well-equipped that you barely have to add a thing. This saved us so much time and stress, and we were able to fully trust that everything would be taken care of.
The team made the entire planning process effortless for us. They were incredibly attentive, responsive, and organised, which made us feel at ease every step of the way. We also took their recommendations for our DJ, and we couldn't be happier. Our guests raved about the music all night long, and we loved that we didn't have to search for external vendors.
We truly had the most magical day, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. We highly, highly recommend Kings Oak to any couple looking for an stress-free planning experience and a truly unforgettable wedding day.

Paula, Toni and Stavi were helpful from start to finish during our wedding planning.
We chose the Kings Oak as we really wanted an epic party! The Kings Oak was perfect for this with its location being away from a residential environment, as well as the perfect location, only being walking distance from High Beach beautiful church where we got married.
My favourite memories, there are too many to count! The drive from the church to the Kings Oak through the forest with Harry was so special, then just start to finish, arrival, speeches, drinks flowing, dancing with all our nearest and dearest at the Kings Oak, it was so special! Our perfect day!
Paula and the ladies were so personable and listened to everything we wanted: they even made it possible to have more space on the day of our wedding to make the flow better for our number of guests.
The day and evening ran seamlessly and nothing was too much to ask!
I would highly recommend The Kings Oak for the best wedding party!!!

Fabulous Venue
The Kings Oak was just the perfect space from the moment I walked I loved the fact that we could do the ceremony and wedding all in one place, everything we needed was all one level, didn’t have to worry parking or
Outdoor space to take pictures. The room on the day drew gasps from myself and the guest it look more beautiful than imagined.
It just a great space and would recommend it for any big event.

Amazing, Professional & Caring Staff
The Kings Oak Team work well together to bring everything you planed for your special day to come to fruition. The ceremony was lovely, The food was very tasty and also accommodated for dietary needs. Nothing was to much trouble. for

Dream wedding
Wow what can I say. The kings oak event team executed our wedding perfectly. We had the best day!! It was honestly the most incredible venue. Paula and Linzi on the day were amazing making sure I was calm and everyone was in place and the day ran smoothly. The food was INCREDIBLE! So many people have said to me it’s the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Christian the toastmaster was lovely! The DJ provided was very good and really friendly! Photo Booth and chocolate fountain were included and were incredible, all the guests raved about them! I couldn’t fault the place. Thank you so much for making our dream wedding a reality, the venue is stunningly beautiful and every last detail is perfect.

The perfect venue!
Me and my wife got married at the Kings Oak Hotel in September 2023 and what a fabulous day it was!
We have known this venue for some years now having visited its pub and restaurant for various occasions, as well as having had birthday parties here in its event spaces.
After getting engaged in late 2022 we wanted to begin planning our wedding and get a date locked in! We knew straight away the Kings Oak Hotel was the venue for us! We had so much confidence in the team there from previous experiences that we knew they would make it a perfect and memorable day for us.
We made our first appointment with Paula the Events Manager and we got a date locked in. The venue is naturally beautiful with its style and decor yet so adaptable fitting to any occasion/theme, we really didn’t have to think about it much!
From there we had several appointments along the way with Paula who helped guide us along the way, listing everything we needed to know as well as everything that was available to us to create the perfect wedding (Even when you think you have a reasonable idea on how to plan a wedding, you really don’t when you meet Paula haha).
…When the wedding day finally came round, everything had been planned so well down to the smallest details thanks to the team there. We had no reason to worry about whether everything was going to run smoothly or not, the only thing we had to think about is having fun and not to forget the rings!
By the end of the wedding day, as husband and wife we could not be happier! The day went absolutely perfect, we could not fault a thing. The ceremony went beautifully and the reception was a blast! I have to thank all the staff at the Kings Oak because you can tell they truly care about providing a special day for their clients. The food was spectacular and enjoyed by all of our guests, the suppliers such as DJ’s, Photobooths, Saxophonists were all amazing and helped create a fun filled evening!
I could honestly go on and on about how great of a day we had, and we truly know this wouldn’t have been possible without the great team at the Kings Oak.

A Perfect Spring Wedding
My Husband and I were incredibly fortunate and lucky to have got married at the Kings Oak Hotel in Spring 2023…
To say our experience of the venue and the staff was exceptional would be an understatement; from the moment we first visited the Kings Oak in August 2020 we were made to feel like part of a family and once we had confirmed our date we knew we were in very safe and capable hands…
Communication when planning a wedding is absolutely key, and thanks to Paula, every little detail was discussed, created and brought to life. She was wonderfully accommodating and thoughtful, shared our vision and knew exactly how we wanted the day to look and feel…
You never really know how it’s all going to come together on the day but when we walked in and saw what she and her team had created we were instantly blown away — the lights, flowers, decorations, music, cleanliness, the bar, the drinks, and the impeccable food were all perfect! Her recommendations on the flowers & cake suppliers, as well as the DJ were spot on!
On the day itself we were made to feel like royalty. Your wedding day can be very overwhelming, which it was for me, but the team at the Kings Oak Hotel made me feel very calm and guided not only us through the day, but all the guests as well.
Everyone single person at our wedding has said how impressed they were — the team really went above and beyond, and we are so grateful.
To any couple looking for a venue — we HIGHLY recommend the Kings Oak Hotel.

Amazing venue and great staff
My husband and I had our wedding reception at the King’s Oak, every step of the way was discussed. We chose a package where we had their own DJ. I had emailed him the songs we wanted playing, he was brilliant.
The venue was beautiful, large dance floor, we chose buffet food, which was brought out and placed on the tables, we also had a drinks package, and these were given to guests.
We paid extra to extend the hours of our reception and this wasn’t an issue with the staff.
We had the best time and would definitely recommend the Kings Oak to everyone. Also, a view of Epping Forest can’t be bad.

Best day of our lives
What an amazing day! Me and partner decided to get married at the kings oak hotel because of the absolute stunning venue! It was exactly what we were looking for! The ceremony was under spotlight star like ceiling which looked so magical. The terrace is beautiful with the marquee’s and the reception room was very spacious with our own private bar. The staff looked after us so well and made sure the day ran smoothly for everyone involved and there was no stress what so ever. I honestly couldn’t thank them enough for making our day as magical as it could be. The picture opportunity’s are fabulous especially with the forest that is just outside of the venue, the poolside pictures are also so stunning! If you’re looking at having the best wedding day ever then I would 100% recommend having it at the kings oak!

A dream wedding!
We had our wedding at the Kings Oak in August 2021, having stated planning it in April 2021. Having such a short window did not prevent us from having a wonderful day as they can do everything for you accept providing your wedding dress.
As the number of guest grew because lockdown ended they continued to accommodate us right up until 3 days before the wedding.
Paula, Georgia and the whole team worked tirelessly to give me/us the day of our dreams.
The food, decor and professionalism on the day were second to none.
We had the drinks Reception after the ceremony, a 3 course sit down meal then an evening buffet with Caribbean delicacies.
We are used to highly flavoured food and we were not disappointed. The children and our guests who were vegan or needed gluten free food were catered for, their plates were cleaned.
We has a total of 150 guests using 2 rooms and it was intimate as well as giving guests enough space not to feel hemmed in.
If you want a beautiful venue, outside space, a quality sound system, professional service with good quality tasty food that will fill your guests up choose the Kings Oak.
They have an extensive bar but they will buy in drinks that they don't normally stock if you ask them.
