X From our very first viewing of Apton Hall, we were besotted. We walked in, I wandered off in the stables, imagining walking down the aisle in that stunning room…. we had already fallen in love with one room before even exploring the rest! Every room was beautiful, obviously, but the Snug was the seller for us. That room is such an amazing addition to an already gorgeous venue! We could rant and rave about how perfect the venue was all day but the most incredible part of that wonderful place is the team. Hayley and Emma, who we only met a handful of times, but over email, but we spoke more times than I would be prepared to admit! Their constant reassurance has been an absolute saving grace. Abby, you were there from the very start of the day and you’re an angel in human form. Josh & Will…same goes to you. You all played an integral part in our day as it felt like friends were helping the day go smoothly! Every single team member was amazing, including the kitchen and floor team who made and served us all the most incredible food, and helped me with constant reassurance of my allergies. We’re unbelievably grateful to you all.

I couldn’t wait to set a date for our wedding! But when we started to look around venues, the cost of everything was such a shock, I began to wonder if we could ever even afford to get married. The Lawn changed all that. We booked a beautiful twilight wedding for a very affordable price in November 2025. I still remember going to The Lawn for my first look around. The driveway itself is very impressive! And the house is just beautiful. It has a wonderful, traditional feel to it. David showed me around and I instantly trusted him. He is incredibly professional and friendly. He put me at ease and I just knew he would do a good job. It’s a really big deal booking a wedding venue and putting your trust in someone like that. David and his team completely understood that and I was treated with nothing but respect from the moment I booked. One of the best things about working with David is the speed and helpfulness at which he replied to my (many!) emails in the lead up to the wedding. No question was too small or too silly. It really put my mind at rest and made the whole planning process much less stressful! The venue looks wonderful in the twilight setting - the lighting is perfect for this time of day. We also had many positive comments from our guests on the quality of the food. The Lawn hosts a lot of weddings and they are really good at what they do. But I was never made to feel like we were ‘just another wedding’. They know how special and important this event is and treated me accordingly. We will be forever grateful for the most wonderful wedding day and we cannot recommend or thank them enough.
